I ve gotten my oil changed here for years but will not return after they changed my sisters oil and forgot to put the O-ring back on ultimately causing the brand new car to be totaled. She was also shown no compassion by the owner which is like salt in the wound. Very unfortunate and disheartening. Clearly a sign of negligence and sloppy work.EDIT: After seeing the business owners response it solidifies my point. There s no compassion or desire to do better in the future. Going on and on about the insurance claim doesn t take away the fact that a paid employee at this business screwed up a simple oil change. Notice there is no mention of SOLUTIONS ex: more training, better quality checks etc. I would say it s a shocking reaction from a business owner, however, I can t be surprised when it seems like their grammar, spelling, and punctuation are equally flawed.

I have used this company in the past and based on a recent incident with my daughter, I would give this place ZERO stars if I was able. This company did an oil & filter change on her 2023 KIA. They were negligent in not installing a ring/seal correctly which resulted in her car loosing all the oil and burning up the engine. They did file a claim with their insurance company but rather than just replace the engine the insurance company totaled the car which resulted in my daughter being put in a negative financial situation. The settlement did not reimburse her for the $7K she initially put down on the car nor was she "made whole" by not being reimbursed for one year of car payments she had previously paid. She talked to the owner of this business and explained her situation to see if he would have some empathy for the financial dilemma his business and his insurance company put her in. She just wanted some financial help from him since the insurance payment won't "make her whole" because now she has practically nothing to put down on buying a replacement car. He refused to help her. Please keep this in mind if you choose to take your car to his business. Who can't perform a simple oil & filter change without it resulting in burning up an engine? I could and did oil & filter changes myself starting when I was 15 years old and didn't cause any engines to burn up.

Very pleased with the oil change. All of the gentleman were working on my vehicle and was very pleased with the professionalism they gave me.Also was cheaper than the other place I was going for the same oil. Thank you guys, I will be back in 5,000 miles.

I called to see about getting an appointment being I only have the one vehicle and nobody I know to take me plus I work, they told me drop off I can't. He then said I could wait but could be half A day. I don't have that kind of time to waste especially if you have an appointment any should I wait that long? Ounce I read reviews and seen how unprofessional they are and how they talked bad a ladies dad hell with this place! I already know what they were going to do iv have several alignments throughout the years it doesn't take long to inspect everything but what they do is the oldest trick in the book. Find "things wrong" then say they replaced or replace for nothing to get more money. If anything needs replaced I'll replace it. Entire things seems shady but take that away just the way they talk to people made me take my business else we're!

Great service and friendly people. Oil change is what I got. They don't harass you to spend more money. That is why I will be taking my car there from now on. The other places like to lie to you and tell you that your car needs special this and special that. National Pit Stop isn't like that. They are honest hard working, I appreciate that. Thank you, see you in a couple weeks.

Idk what kinda of certified workers this establishment have but they sure do take advantage of women and youth. I brought my spouses car three times here the last two times they didn't change the oil filter on top of the one time they did they didn't even put on the right one and it was too tight to the point it took the mechanic his whole strength to get it off which could have caused damages to seals but thank god it didn't. Shortly after caused a lot of engine and oil issues. I had my spouse go down and show them the filter that was meant for the car and the one they put on on top of having a certified mechanic of 50 years explain what went wrong he stated after over 50 years of working on cars he has never seen such a terrible job done by a shop that was such a simple fix and still they told both my spouse and the mechanic they were wrong. On top of the fact I got an oil change a month ago and thought the issue was a valve leak due to the cover but it in fact wasn't even after Jeff Wyler told me so and I payed for a diagnosic to be done. All I wanted was maybe an apology or any type of understand no money or anything just understanding and put themselves at fault. Never again will I go to this place, it's absolutely terrible how they treat their customers that keep their business going. Coming from someone that works in customer service this place absolutely is terrible. Funny thing is y'all's reply because I have video of the whole thing the oil in the car was black as black can be even after having an oil change a month ago. How little y'all know is that's not my grandfather it's my spouses from marriage and a well known mechanic. On top of the fact I have video proof of it all so if you would like me to bring it down I ofcourse can but ya know yall seem to not get the point and act completely defensive so at this point it's a waste of my time. You guys should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.

Since I can t reply to what they commented. Yes the car lot gave me a loan to rid fix the car. I brought my car back the SAME DAY and was told there is nothing wrong with my car and the owner walked away. When I bright it back and called the next day I got yelled at and hung up on. The issue isn t fixed and I ve talked to the car lot and they will be reaching out as well.I took my car in for a full inspection and a day later they text me and told me everything that was wrong with my car. I told them to go ahead and fix everything which came to a little over $3000. I went to pick my car up a week later and it was having the same issue. I m assuming the owner drive it and told me everything was fine. I took the car home and dropped it back off a couple days later (4 days), and told them it hasn t been fixed. The guy who worked on my car called me back the next day and told me issues that could be wrong and then told me that I didn t get a full inspection like I asked and paid for. After going back and forth with the mechanic he ended up hanging up on me. Definitely wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. I m out over $3000 and do not have a car because they want me to repay to fix what should have been fixed the first time.

In a world where word-of-mouth is king I want to sing the praises of this place. I'll try to make a long story short, but on a 5 hour drive home to Cleveland I found myself with a wild rattling noise going on in my car, I had to stay overnight since it was a Sunday evening at a local hotel but I got there as they opened Monday am. The lovely woman (Dawn, I believe) working inside asked me what was going on and also explained their process which I appreciated. Gave me a time frame and even an inspection quote. They checked my car almost immediately to find out something had gotten loose/broke off ( I cannot even remember what it was tbh but they came and showed me) and they said it was just simply that and I was good to go.. meaning they did not even plan to charge me for taking care of it. Yes, they did not "fix" anything - but they did start to do their inspection and I would have expected to pay something. In a world where car autobody shops can get a bad wrap for taking advantage of people (especially women) I felt so grateful to have gone to this shop over others. The reviews are what brought me here, so I want to add to them since I really am so thankful for them. They showed kindness and compassion in a situation where I could have truly been F-ed to put it frankly. Thank you all so much, I really appreciate it!

I ve been coming here for the past few years and have had some very pleasant experiences. But the last two times I ve been here I had one employee stand right outside my window and make fun of my vehicle as if I couldn t hear him. He proceeded to bring another employee over to do the same thing. I didn t really care as it didn t affect their performance on my vehicle. I came back for another oil change and it happened again with two different employees. I believe these two were students from CTC. I d like to bring my vehicles to a place that has some professionalism. Very disappointed. The owner is great but needs to teach his employees to keep their opinions of other people vehicles to themselves. I warranted three stars because my past services were excellent but the customer service wasn t necessarily.Service: Oil change

I had an engine protection cover that had partially fallen off under my car. The manager directed me to a bay where a mechanic promptly took the cover off and I was on my way. Super nice staff and efficient. Highly recommended!

I have always come here with past good experiences however the gentleman I dealt with just simply trying to pull in must not have had his morning coffee. Very rude. After speaking with him, he appeared to understand and the experience was saved. I wasn't going to ever come back but we were able to talk things out, leaving on a good note. Fast service

I hate to admit it, but I am a bit stereotypical when it comes to the maintenance of my car. I went to get a quote from a few places about how my oil was leaking all over the place - I'm talking about 4 bottles a day. National pit stop had the most cost efficient quote and was able to quickly repair my car. They are friendly and explained everything to me. They only did exactly what they said they would, and there were no hidden costs or surprise expenses! I recommend that if you're looking for people who know what they're doing (and won't screw you over), this is the place to go!

I came for an oil change but they only did half of the work, they drained my oil but didn't put any back in, my engine is destroyed a representative is denying my claim. I had a persistent low tire during a long out-of-town drive and pulled off at a random exit to stop at the first auto shop I could find I couldn t have been luckier than to find this place! I have never had a more pleasant auto shop experience. Dawn greeted me outside and made sure I was comfortable, and they had me in and out within an hour; they were informative and kind, I would recommend to anyone.Service: Tires

Excellent service and very professional. Timely oil change service. I have been to several of competitor sit in car oil change places and they are like yelling all sorts of stuff. These folks communicate with each other and you can hear the status of the oil change and feel more relaxed everything is being done right.

I had two cars done and they both came back like new after getting the parts done. Great customer service and decent timing on getting the car diagnostic results back.Update as I continue to use their services they have not let me down yet.. There has been some changes, like there expansion which is great because parking is easier they can take care of more customers and ECT. Instead of calling like they use to they now send a text with their diagnosis and suggestions for work needed along with price per item and you text back with the items you want done. Beings they save the records whatever you chose not to get done at that time you can always get done later so to me it's very convenient. Friendly service and worth the cost they charge. I have never had any issues and when we put our vehicles in the shop every year for some routine work.I definitely recommend using National Pit Stop for your car needs.

Great place! Got me in and out in about 2 hrs. Great prices, customer service, very polite and very helpful. They answered all of my questions and were very thorough on what I needed done. I will definitely be going back there for all of my car needs!!

If I could leave a 10 star review I would. My husband, 7 month old baby, and I were driving from Columbus to Bloomington for my best friends funeral when we stopped for gas and heard a scraping sound. A flap had fallen down underneath our car. I called and Dawn got us in the bay right away and they fixed it!!! I was moved to tears by this act of kindness on one of the most stressful days of my life. Thank you all so very much.

My daughter took her car to get oil change the next day oil drip completely out from the oil plug from not being properly installed or from being stripped out. Needless to say what we were told from the manager that she drove 483 miles within a day and that's the reason why the engine blew a rod and oil was leaking from the oil plug. We go up there to see what can be done and the manager was so unprofessional to the point of confrontation. Then had the car impoundeda chance for my tow truck to even come.. Now they don't want to fix the problem very poor service don't suggest any services from this companyService: Oil change

Being new to an area and looking for a good shop can be intimidating, but I found a great place on my first try with these guys. They're honest, thorough, and their prices are fair. Sometimes with shops you can get the distinct impression you're being taken advantage of, especially as a woman, but not here. They explained everything they were doing and the quote they gave for the work didn't deviate from the final charge. I've taken my car to them twice now and they've earned a long-term customer. They're in the process of expanding too so soon they'll be able to handle more business. If your car needs work take it to Pit Stop and you won't be disappointed.
