Fast and expertly done repairs very honest . Bill is a nice guy to do business with.. I have sent him friends of mine that need work done and none of them have been dissatisfied with his work . Definitely will continue to bring my vehicles to him

I took my car to them for a tune up and was driving my car and the transmission coolent line came off shortly after that and then I took it back to them and and they charged me $2,500 to fix the transmission, and then when I got my car the linkage was messed up and the power steering line was leaking and the drive shaft wasn't put back in right, they did put the drive shaft the rest the way back in and fixed the linkage after I took it back but my car is steal leaking powersteering fluid

The work was ok but i had a warranty to be called in to be paid for and monkey wrench didn't do it

While traveling to Cleveland from Indiana for my daughter's wedding I had some voltage issues and my car was losing power while going 70mph on the highway. I pulled into this establishment and the gentlemen working there immediately started to troubleshoot. I'm very sure they working on other things, but they didn't hesitate to work feverishly to find out what was wrong. Bill was amazing and I made it safely to my daughter's wedding. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Keep up the good work guys!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These guys are great! I've only dealt specifically with Bill but he has been awesome every time I was there. Their prices are extremely fair as well, I never got the impression I was being taken advantage of or oversold. Highly recommended!

I was passing through the area with a bad brake line. I was lucky, Bill was able to get me in right away and get me back on the road. Honest, quick and reliable service. You won't be disappointed! Thank you guys!

This place is way beyond 5 stars. So me and my family were driving from Indiana and i noticed i was losing voltage. I immediately knew this was an alternator. I pull off the highway and find an advanced auto parts and they had the alternator in stock. Oh no! I don't have my socket set nor wrenches. I call the closest garage ( monkey wrench 3 minutes away) . I explained my situation and Bill told me to bring the truck and the alternator and they would swap it out for me. I pulled in and they took care of me immediately. They were extremely nice and got me right back on the road in 20 minutes. I won't even say what they charged because honestly it wasn't enough but was so beyond appreciative. What a great shop with even better guys. If i lived in Ohio i would go out of my way to give these guys business. Much success to you guys and thank you so much.

Car was towed to this business after alternator went out on the highway. This was my first time doing business with them. I really appreciated the fact they got my vehicle repaired quickly; however, they did not tell me in my quote there is a 4% charge to use your credit/debit card This added an additional $20 to my $500 bill. Had I known, I would have stopped by the bank to get cash. My advice...TAKE CASH unless you don't mind throwing your money away on fees.

These guys are 100% Legit hands down the BEST mechanics in the city. They cut no corners, add no extra unnecessary fees and fix your car to get you back on the road quick! As long as they're around they'll be our go to mechanics!

I took my Toyota they replaced the Radiator did great work. I took my Mercury mountaineer there to get the transmission shifter cable replaced it will replace he did a horrible job didn't didn't fix the slack didn't adjust the shift or handle and it still it stood wasn't right after I fixed it and it broke again I was very disappointed in his work on that

I took a chance and had my vehicle towed here over a weekend after something broke. They were able to figure out the problem quickly and replaced broken components. They also pointed out another issue that needs addressed but it's not an emergency. I will definitely go back for future repairs. Nice to have a place to go that is trustworthy.

Taken my car here for the 3rd time now & never been disappointed. They really seem to care, always been fast & efficient. Also, offered to pick me up (don't live far from location) when my car was ready. You don't find that type of curiosity very often!!

Unluckily we broke down on the highway during our road trip from the east coast to the west coast. Luckily we were closest to Monkey Wrench Garage. They have friendly and knowledgeable staff and more than fair pricing. They easily could have taken advantage of out-of-staters with little knowledge for vehicles but they have more honor than that. We were fixed up and back on the road within an hour. Highly recommend!!

I had an issue with my car. Debree on the high way kicked up and took out a power steering line. I had it in to Monkey Wrench the next morning. They called me and gave me a very reasonable and up front price and had it fixed by the end of the day. Very proffesional, quick, and inexpensive. And he didn't try to sell me anything extra for my car. Just got done what I needed and paid for an honest job. I will be pleased if i need to come here again

This garage is awesome! My car wouldn't start in the middle of the day and we finally got it towed to the garage that night after hours. The next day around lunch time we got a call that my car was all done! Quick and kind service with very fair prices.

My friend's radiator blew on our way home from Columbus to Indianapolis. We stopped here in Springfield and found this shop. No one could get the part in until the next day. The owner was extremely helpful, and offered to come in on his day off to fix the car when the part came in. Super helpful!

My sister has been going here for years, I just moved to town after having a trusted mechanic for 30 years. I was very happy with their service, both mechanic were friendly and got the job done. I'll be back!

I went there before they was on Burnett. I drove up and i seen a man outside. I don't think they was even open. He might have been the owner. I wish I could remember his name. Anyways I was so upset my car kept stalling for no reason I could think of. He looked at it then put it on this computer. He showed me the codes. Explained it. He was so honest. He said my thing don't remember what it's called needed cleaned. Just a tiny dust could cause this. He got a can of ethenol sprayed it and it never stalled again. So I need to come back years later and I wouldn't trust anybody else.

Best garage in Springfield! They keep you informed every step of the way and if they run into a problem they let you know. My family and I will only take our vehicles to monkey wrench from here on out
