Had a broken part for our ATV. Before the guys in the shop sold us a new one, they tried to fix the old for free. It wasn't a big part, but the fact they were willing to try to help first was pretty cool.

Nice clean . of inventory and I enjoyed my visit there with Tommy in sales. I am very struck by the" gender bias" I saw when leaving. The women's restroom / and men's both back up to each other with 5 stalls each. With 2 broken ( not flushing toilets and one out of order sign . I saw a dilapidated sign hidden by open stall door,- [do not flush products] girls, we get it. But no handy disposal buckets in the narrow stalls, hmm.I suggest that they alter the setup. Less ineffective stalls, handy disposal bins for non toilet paper items.BTW, men's room same set up 5 working either urinals or stalls with doors.Clean, neater than the first one I went into.Maybe in the redesign, they can put in a good height toilet that is suitable for grown ups. Best wishes

I do have to say their sticker prices are high. I have never bought a bike here but I've looked a decent bit. I've bought gear and other things here and that was always easy and manageable. For the bikes, they have a large selection and they left me alone for the most part. I asked a ton of questions and the guy did not seem bothered. Give it a shot, you can always say no in the end.

Bought a "new" 2015 Suzuki at CA several weeks ago. The salesman was obviously trying to make a sale....had to "check with the manager" a few times over lowering the price. I was rather pleased with the ending price, and I gotta give Jim credit for determination. I couldn't transport it at the time, so said I'd be back the following week to pick it up. He said they had a storage area, and it would be covered up for protection. Called the following week to let them know I'd be picking it up the next day. Got there and the bike was sitting out front in the showroom. Apparently wherever it was stored, it hadn't been covered up. Covered in a layer of dust. As we talked, the fellow was cleaning the bike up. Kind of disappointing considering the time lapse and notification of when I'd be there to get it.Also, and this may have nothing to do with CA, but within several days after filling out the paperwork and being approved etc., I got more than a few notifications that someone was trying to open numerous credit card accounts using my information, and had already made several large purchases using my information. Luckily I'm a member of more than one fraud alert organizations, so I was notified immediately. As I said earlier, it might have nothing to do with this company, but it's just kind of a coincidence.

I've had two interactions with the shop, both left a "bad taste" and I'm not sure I'll go back.. One in service and the other in apparel.I took in a motorcycle for repair, and tune up. After going over all the details of what was needed and filling out a work order I got a phone call 3+ weeks later to ask me about the work being done....needless to say they didn't know the details, and hadn't ordered parts yet. That took another 2-3 weeks. I was told I'd be called with a full estimate of the bill for repairs, but I never was. Finally almost 8 weeks later I got a call that my bike was ready, and the cost was more than I'd anticipated. I knew the bill would be expensive and I wanted the work done there, so all in all what I got was what I expected, just later and with poor communication along the way. Darn shame, as I wanted to like the shop more than I now do. My repairs came in at $1400 for whatever that's worth.... not a super high dollar amount but enough that I'd hoped to be better taken care of, especially since I've got another bike and am looking for a returning customer relationship. The bike is now running great and I'm satisfied with the work. The next time I was at the shop I was looking for a new jacket and my girlfriend was too. We tried on a lot of stuff- they have a pretty good inventory. The cute girls behind the desk were generally helpful and knew about as much as I expect any sales staff to know about the products. Things were going fine until we found a jacket on the clearance rack. The prices were clearly marked, with both a retail price and then a clearance price in red. Above the jackets were two signs, one said all items 50-70% off. The other said all items 70% off! Well it turns out that one of the best fitting jackets was on the rack- seems like a sweet deal...but that's not how they rang up. They rang up as the "red" price, which was 1/3 off full the full retail price marked. The manager was contacted who did nothing about it but to tell me they were marked wrong. after a discussion she offered to cut the price further but not even to the 50% mark....so they still have the jacket, and I've got 2 of 2 less than great experiences.Bottom line, make sure you know exactly what your getting, and that it's worth it to you. It might be a great shop but I'm still waiting for a great experience.

We recently bought a Honda Silver Wing 600cc bike & needed new helmets & went to Springfield to this place to see what they had . We ended up buying 2 helmets from a great gal who really knew her helmets. Sorry I didn't get her name, but she was very knowledgeable when it came to helmets & adding Bluetooth. Competition Accessories name has changed, but when I did the Google search to find them, I used this name & they're info came up. This is a great store & they have a great staff.

I've bought motorcycle tires here for years on three different bikes I've owned . Last year bought a front tire didn't last but 2000 miles and the cords broke leaving me stranded. This is the second tire in 3yrs that I've gotten and happened to and amazingly can't find that I ordered from them. I recommend oder from somewhere else if a company won't warranty the products that they are selling.

very nice set up! Lots of bikes new and used. Spoke with a young man salesperson that was highly skilled in the cycles for sales. Great pricing 9n all their bikes.

Over priced, a lot of the sales staff doesn't want to budge on price to keep their commission as high as possible( I would think some commission is better than no commission from a lost sale), accessories are priced high ( typically). Unless you have a lot of money and don't want to shop for a better deal(which you will find!) Then go else where. Place does have a large selection of many many manufacturers though. So go in sit in a bike, find out what you want, then go elsewhere to buy it. 2 stars because of the presentation and selection.

Unfortunately we don't get the option to give no stars as a rating. Placed an order on November 21st...they did not email a confirmation of the order but did charge the full amount to my credit card immediately. On November 28th, I get an email that the item listed on their site as available was discontinued. How does it take a week for any online company to determine whether they have an item on hand or not? I was charged immediately for an item they did not have, but it will take them three days to refund my credit card! I highly suggest you stay away from this company's false advertising and poor business practice.

Horrible place. Big selection of VERY over priced bikes and salesman that act like they want to screw you over in any possible way. You can't walk in there without somebody asking if you want to "talk numbers" and by that they mean pay their full asking price. Some of the worst customer service at any dealership I've ever seen. Bought a bike from Clinton county Motorsports instead. 50 mins out of my way and well worth the drive compared to this place.Don't waste your time.

My husband and I just stopped by to check out the new Ryker. Met Brody, who was knowledgable and very personable. We left very impressed and would recommend you ask for him, when you stop in! We are long time customers of the store and always have a good experience there.

Purchased a helmet (saleswoman was rather pushy). Sold us a "snow" helmet when we clearly told them we were summer riders only. Found the non-snow version much cheaper online and went to return it. Sign behind the register says 20% restock fee if over 10 days. We were 6 days out from purchase. On the small print on the receipt, it stated that if they reordered the item, then you had to pay the restocking fee. We were told they had to reorder it. BS!Met with sales staff - looked at Yahama SMAX. Asked to see if they could met a competitor's price and the salesperson told us they would call us in a couple of days. 5 days later, we bought our bike at another dealership since they did not call us back. They will not be getting anymore of our business. I'll drive the extra distance to Wilmington instead!

Just got my Ducati back from service. The communication along the way was excellent, the service itself was completed as promised, and the bike runs/sounds great. There was even a snafu where I was going to wait for the bike to have the service completed. That wasn't possible as the bike needed to be ambient temp. - no big deal, might have been inconvenient, but they went the extra mile this time, and gave me a courtesy lift back home that day while my bike stayed in the shop for the service. This was my first time there, and should I need service again...these guys will have my business for sure. Great job Competition Accessories!

On a trip 2900+ mile trip I needed a tire. They did not balance it properly. I did not discover this until I was more than 100 miles away, as the imbalance only affected speeds of 38-58 mph, and as soon as I left the shop I was doing 85. They did not return multiple calls, and when they did, they refused to refund the amount to have it fixed at another location they insisted I drive hundreds of miles back to their shop to have it fixed by them.It all worked out though, Capital One refunded the cost of labor. Tire is now balanced.

I bought a used bike from them and rode it last season. I am looking at upgrading to a new bike and they offered what the kbb price was even though they sold it to me for double that. The bike was sold as used and has only had 3k miles put on it since owning it. On top of that, the new bike I was interested in, they were not willing to negotiate anything below MSRP even though they would be making approximately 2k profit on it. I am disappointed they were not willing to work with their customers more.

Horrible. Bought two personal watercrafts from them; one never ran the other went out after a week. Have spent last two month and hundreds dealing with incompetent sales and maintenance staff trying to have equipment fixed that they sold to us and signed off was water tested and good to go in the first place.Run away as fast as you can!!!

Called Comp. Access. cold today and am glad I did!! Friend on route to see me in Illinois from PA on his Honda, has a flat east of Springfield OH. Texts me to find help. Googled Motorcycle repair. C.A. was first of 5 to answer phone (was actually refered by another shop who couldn't help). Service Dept was quite courteous, said "no prob." Per my buddy, driver arrived as promised with Flat Bed within 30 min. Hauled him in, fixed his bike and got him on his way in a short time - all with no notice and no promise of return business - transient. I am in the service business for a large corporation: these guys have a great sense of urgency and customer service. Just wanted to say thanks for my buddy and great job guys!!!!

1 nice staff person in the whole place....and she didnt know anything about what i was looking for...im disabled..and feel like they didnt want to deal with me or the special needs i have...not looking for a hand out...just something i can ride...That aside..good selection of new bikes and 4x4s...but not much used...seemed like average prices. Tight space and not much room to move between inventory

I worked there a few years back, and their focus is on sealing deals no matter what it takes. They dont care about customers or thier employees really, only lining their pockets. Check over your bike if you bought it their (Even the new) as they forget to prep the bikes the correct way. The owner and his brother dont even ride, they are used car sales men, not motorcycle enthusiast. If you arent making them money or spending your hard earned money in their store they dont want you in it. They dont like people just coming to look, and treat people who do like 2nd class.

I went there with my wife and 3 boys to look at youth quads for my oldest 11 years old. My kids were well behaved, not running around or touching things they just stood by me happy to be there. I asked the salesman about youth quads specs and he refused to tell me anything because my 8 year old was with me. He never asked and I never said who I was buying it for, or the age of my son's. So I then explained it was for my 11 year old and he was over the age limit. He still refused because my 8 year old was there. So I then asked about the smaller ones 50's as my 8 and 11 year old would be old enough. He still refused because my newly 3 year old was there. He then told me even if I came back by myself, because I had been in the store with a kid as young as three they could never sell me a youth quad until the three year old was over the age limit and said he would not answer questions because there was no point if they wouldn't sell me one. But he did try repeatedly from the beginning to sell me dirt bikes.

They have a really big selection of bikes, but thats about all that is good about this place. Their gear is really expensive, and they hire girls to work the accessories area and put them in tight t shirts. I'm not complaining about the view, just of the business model. I want a good price on good equipment, I can go to hooters to see girls in tight shorts and t- shirts, I don't need that when trying to purchase anything motorcycle related. Do not any major components of apparel from them, I can guarantee you'll be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, even if you dont want to use the internet to buy stuff.I do not trust their service department to do any more work on my motorcycle. The bikes sit outside in an unsecured lot WITH THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION overnight when they're not getting worked on. Service manager said "We've accidentally lost keys, but we've never lost a bike." Not to mention I got my bike back dirtier than it has even been before. I got my bike back and 1) It took them almost exactly 1 month for them to complete a 1.5 hour recall job. 2) the fuel breather line was routed incorrectly during reinstall of tank, so it was sticking out from under the tank and looked bad 3) Wires for the gages on the tank were reinstalled poorly and they poked out from under the cover that goes around the gages and looked terrible. and MOST IMPORTANTLY 4) they didn't tighten down the bolt to my seat. It fell off my bike while I was taking a turn. Luckily I was in my neighborhood and was turning slowly and I didn't lay it down, But if I were in town or on the highway when it fell off, I could have been hurt or killed, not to mention I would have laid my bike down and messed it up badly...they WILL NOT be touching any part of my bike EVER again.

If I one time went there and found what I wanted in stock, in date code, in the right size, it would be a miracle. Mix that with no test rides and terrible mechanics and there is no reason to go there. Big DOES NOT equal good, great prices, or anything else but big. More like big waste of time.

I took my 2000 yamaha road star to them for recall work. Friendly staff but the work was TERRIBLE.. loose bolts everywhere including a motor mount VERY loose.. greasy hand prints all over my bike( lost one on the way home) and my throttle cables not attached properly. went on a trip on the bike after tightening everything and cleaning up the bike and noticed an oil leak when I was in Ky.. the oil drain plug was barely finger tight. I called and complained each time I found a different thing messed up. nothing.

I purchesed a 2013 raider. When i returned to have it serviced they told me a couple days. I waited 3 weeks with no phone call. When i arived to pick it up it had clearly been left out in the rain. The bolt holes and other parts were rusted. They made up some BS story and pushed me out the door. I wish that place would burn down and

place sucks, don't know how they stay in businessmen unless they are just flat ripping off everyone that is dumb enough not to compare prices before they buy, i did by an ATV there in 03 and yes i was one of the dumb at the time because a month after i bought it i found many of the exact same for a considerable amount less. Oct of 2014 i wanted a side x side and went in there just to look and compare some models...of course the salesman says he can make some great deals on 2015s since the 2016 were already hitting the floor, i told him i have bought there before and even priced there before since its close to home and would give them a shot at their best price.....well it was not much of a deal and they kept saying i wasnt going to find anything any cheaper than they were willing to sell it for. I spent about 1 and 1/2 on the web and found 5 of the exact same sxs all within 2 1/2 hours from there and way better pricing...gave them their chance to match the price since they say should support local business but they were kind of nasty after i told them i have a truck and trailer and for an $1800 savings for driving 2 hours to buy at another dealer was just fine with me.....4 hour round trip saved me $1800.....i dont make $450 an hour so it was way worth it to spend a tank of fuel for a road trip like that. never will i walk in their door again. only giving 1 star cause a couple of the apparel girls were pretty good to look at while i was in there. you want accessories go to Iron Pony and save a bunch with a huge selection to choose from.

Terrible experience. I wanted to trade my HD for a Can Am and they hit me with a trade in value that was ridiculously low. Then, basically shamed me for asking for more. Sales staff was extremely high pressure and basically ruined their chances of me buying as soon as I walked in the door. I may give service dept a chance, but never sales.
