Best automotive experience I've ever had. I have been in the market for a good independent auto repair shop and I have finally found it at Schmidt Auto Care. I found them through an Instagram ad and was intrigued. Seeing a high Google review score and a meaningful FAQ/about us page on their website brought me to their app. I was able to create a profile and book an appointment from the app within days. I was very impressed that I could add notes and describe what I needed done or what my concerns were with my car.I called the day before to ensure my appointment was set and everything I booked through the app was exactly what they had in their system.When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that they offered many different services such as driving you home, picking you back up or picking your car up for service. Jake was extremely professional and provided a great overview of their services and how they would inform you what they would find from their inspection. They provide you an extremely well documented report with pictures of any concerns they find. Along with a quote to fix or service what you agree too.They performed multiple mileage and wear services for 30-40% less than a dealership. I even received my car the same day I dropped it off. I am very happy with the service I received and the repairs that were made on my car. I even had a free Biggby coffee coupon in my drink holder left behind. They made me a customer for life today and I am very grateful for their services.If you're looking for a great independent automotive repair shop Schmidt Auto Care is your place to go.

My car broke down the way back home from Cleveland , we called several shops and was accommodated but Schmidt s. Wow was I glad we found them. They made our nightmare experience at ease. They were all very kind and extremely helpful and trust worthy. I recommend them 10/10 !!! Thank you so much for serving us with such a warm touch!!

All my concerns are always addressed promptly, and are always described in detail regarding recommendations and diagnoses. The staff are always very friendly and address customers with a very patient professional approach. Erich always takes time to explain in detail about a specific problem with my vehicle. My experience at your shop is always a pleasant one , and I hope to always remain a loyal customer. Jake is very good at communicating with existing customers and potential customers as he shows great patience when communicating either in person or on the phone or other communication resources.

Perfect 10!! Ladies, if you are like me and know nothing about cars, this is the place for you! Schmidt Auto is super honest and will not take advantage of you. Quite the opposite, they will work to make sure you are taken care of and treated fairly. I have had three opportunities to work with them and each time is better than the last. They go above and beyond!! Give them a try and you will not be sorry!

I had been looking for a reputable auto repair company in Springboro that is trustworthy, performs repairs in a high caliber fashion and has reasonable pricing. Schmidt s Auto Care is that company. I am extremely happy with their pricing, repairs and their courteous, prompt service. You will not be disappointed. This is now my go to business for auto repairs.

Overall, very disappointed with the shop! Had a car that was shaking bad while driving. I was fortunate they were able to get it in right away to inspect and diagnose. Where it went south is they quoted for work that was unnecessary and called it "preventative maintenance" on the other three like parts. When I called other mechanics, including the dealership, and explained the issue, they informed me only the failing part needs done and the others would be fine; the preventative maintenance line is a scam. I was able to get it to another mechanic who did the work for over $1000 less than their quoted price!! Unfortunately, the other mechanic I used had to locate the specific part failure because they cleared the computer which stored the check engine code - and thus would have indicated which part was actually failing. Please do not use them. They are scam artists.

I had heard many good things about Schmidt Auto Care. On October 19 my car would not start and I needed their help. After AAA delivered my car to Schmidt, Jake called to tell me it had arrived. Then through texts and phone calls I was informed on the problem and the cost to repair the car. I have never had such thorough information from an auto shop. Jake was fabulous!!! From my first phone call until pick up. He patiently listened to all my questions and explained everything. I am so happy with my entire experience. Thank you so much for taking good care of me

This outfit has been amazing for me. I ve had some major work done by these folks recently and they ve been knowledgeable, upfront, prompt and professional about it. I sure am glad I found them . It s hard to find a company you can trust to get it done right, quickly, and then stand behind their work. These folks will do it.

Transparency is the key word I would use to describe Schmidt Auto Care. They explained every recommendation and gave an accurate quote for their recommendations . They also stand behind the parts they install. I will continue to bring my car here with confidence that it will be reliably cared for.

Honest and trustworthy local shop. Can be tough to find a mechanic you trust, so I appreciate Schmidt. Very good communication with me, and the app is very handy for keeping track and scheduling service.

Schmidt has saved me more than once. They educate you on the needs of your automobile and how things work so you can make educated decisions. They are understanding of spending limits and will help you prioritize if you are unable to afford all the repairs at once. They keep good records so when you come back, they can help you schedule out maintenance based on past work. The owners are good people who aren't out to take advantage. Freaking great company seems like there family owned they did they thang, I was stuck out of own had my car towed to them they gave me a DETAILED inspection of my vehicle, I agreed to da price, they had after hours pick up which made my experience great now I'm back on the road I would give yall 6 stars but there's no option for it . I recommended Schmidt Auto Care to my manager. The service provided was excellent. Up front inspection, went over details of the findings, and reviewed the available options. A systematic and analytic approach to summarizing something as simple as a new set of tires gives confidence to a customer seeking an informative decision. I have gone to Schmit Auto Care four or five times now and have been well taken care of. The do a great job and I haven't had to have work re-done to correct the issue I brought it in for. They have great customer service and I have never felt like they were trying to run up the bill on me. I would say these folks are as honest as you can get. My Ford recently blew a transmission cooler line. I was looking for someone to take it to and am glad I had it towed to Schmidt. They got right on it, provided me with the costs and other recommendations and got it fixed quickly. It s running better than it has for a while. I will not take my car to any other shop, unless they do not offer the service. Mike is always friendly and helpful. They resolve the issues I request and notify me if there are any additional concerns. If you live in the Springboro area, only take your vehicle here for repairs. I had the transmission repair over a month ago and still no issues. I rather drop my car off here and know she is safe, then the convience of a drive-though oil change. We just took advantage of the new Vehicle Maintenance Package offered by Schmidt Auto Care. The package included a full synthetic oil change, tire check and rotation, brake check, full fluid check and vehicle evaluation. They were fast, knowledgeable and honest. When finding a concern they explained what they found, the impacts to ignoring it, and the cost and time to repair it. They could have pushed hard for new brakes but were forthright in explaining that while they were low they still had a good few months on them. Schmidt will have my business for their honesty and willingness to support the customers needs as well as their wallet. Great job everyone involved!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great communication from the team and if they did find additional work they made sure I approved it before just deciding to charge me more. They are very thorough and they did good work. Will likely return to them with any work I may have in the future.

I received top quality service, and customer service. My car was in bad shape when I sent it to Schmidt, and I was ready to get rid of it because I had already paid mechanics thousands of dollars and my car was still not drivable. Mike, Alex, and Matt, are awesome. They were patient and understanding of my concerns, and they worked diligently to fix my car and make sure it was not only drivable, but safe for me and my family. I could not have found better mechanics anywhere around. I appreciate their hard work, dedication, and determination to fix my car and make sure I was satisfied. I found my new mechanics at Schmidt Auto Care and I will be utilizing their services for any future issues I have with any vehicle that I own. We have had great experiences with Schmidt Auto Care with many vehicles. Many oil changes, struts repaired, engine work, etc.I ve had only one issue with a steering wheel misalignment which was quickly readjusted at the next available opportunity. Recommendations for other work are routinely made but not forcefully so unlike other places I have experienced.They are active in community sponsorships as well. Great service and very helpful. They send you an invoice with everything itemized. You can choose what you want repaired and decline anything you don't want. Highly recommend this shop.

They are very honest and upfront. They work hard to get things done for you in a timely manner. Unfortunately, they take a 3-day weekend every single week. Our car has been in here twice with a check engine light and they couldn t figure out what was wrong, even after keeping the car for nearly a week to check on it. Prices are on the high side, but again, they are upfront about it. Oil change and air filter was over $200.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection
