I would like to thank Brad and Gabe for their time and effort to get me into a 2nd.car purchase, they really went out of their way to make it happen. This is a truly stand up team at Donley. The 2015 focus turned out great.The mustang was very nice but not something that my wife and I was comfortable with. Sorry that it didn't work out. I will definitely call them on any future needs.This review is of Mt.Vernon Donley location.

Spoke with Andy and he was super nice when scheduling our appointment. It was the after treatment that they need to work on. We decided not to spend the $2400.00 at this time to get our vehicle fixed and it seemed like we got the cold shoulder. After paying our bill for diagnostic didn't even get as much as a thanks, thank you, have a good day, let us know when you would like us to schedule that or even a good bye. I will drive hours to another ford dealer going forward.

I drove almost an hour and a half to check out a vehicle only to get there to find out that the vehicle had a modification that would not allow it to pass an emissions test. However my salesman (Drew) recommended another possibility so I decided to continue to the dealership anyway. It turns out I got a much better vehicle and they helped me with the negative equity that I was rolling over from my trade. Everyone made the whole process amazing and I can t say enough good things about the staff and the dealership as a whole.

Went and looked at a truck, Dan Reese came out and allowed us to look in the truck. His charming attitude and calmness is only a sales trick. As we were looking at the truck the other employees were rearranging the lot. Dan was yelling at them and being extremely DISRESPECTFUL. Because of this I will not be buying with Dan. Don t fall for his charm.

been a long time customer of Donley Ford and have always had great experiences. bought my last 3 vehicles from the Shelby location and this time was no different. My salesman Drew went above and beyond trying to find the type truck I was looking for and Holace made the paperwork a breeze. Always recommend Donley's to people and I will continue my business there

Originally stopped in to look at a different vehicle but decided against purchasing. Within 2 days, I received a text that a more appropriate vehicle for my needs had just arrived on the lot. The people at Donley were very helpful and were able to get me the type of vehicle I wanted with the payment that I wanted. I m very happy with my new vehicle so far!

Although Donley Ford of Shelby wasn't the closest dealership to me, they were the most available for my service. They made the scheduling effortless, check-in easy, and the waiting area was very comfortable! I will definitely return for future services.

very poor experience. I went on a Monday to look at a van and test drive it. after going through the paperwork to buy the van I was informed it needed tires and an alignment. I was informed I could pick up the van that Thursday. Thursday came and about a half hour before I was headed to pick up the van I received a call stating that something was wrong with the cruise control however I didn't notice anything wrong with it during the test drive. I was told that the van went to a chryselr shop to be repaired and that it wouldn't be til the following Tuesday that I could get the van. whats worse is they gave me a rental to drive but it was even smaller then the escape I traded in and was not suitable for two toddlers. would've been nice to have a vehicle of the same size or bigger not smaller. you could fit about 5 Walmart bags in the vacuum of this thing. was the size of a smart car. made it a struggle to get 2 toddlers in and out of nor was there remotely enough room in the back for a stroller. the thing that irritated me was the fact that my sales woman never kept in contact with me on what was going on with my van. she never called to check in to tell me that parts were in or that the van was being fixed. I had to sit and wait to see if she would call or I had to call her myself to get informed and even then she didn't have any answers. she not once stayed in contact with me during the repair process. Tuesday came around and I had waited all day for an answer on if my van was done. of course I had to call to see what was going on and then was told there was a battery issue and that I wouldn't have the van Tuesday. at that point I was livid as I was verbally told I would have my van two different times and didn't get it and had to wait longer. I was again told the sales woman would contact me the next day which would be Wednesday. I did not call and waited all day to see if she would call. she never called not once. Thursday comes around and my dad contacted her about where my van was because at that point I was not happy about the situation at all. her first comment was "she didn't get her van yesterday"..I don't know how any sales person doesn't have a clue on whats going on with their clients vehicle let alone if they received it or not. she wasn't very informative nor did she have answers to any of our questions. it was like a guessing game with her. Friday rolls around and finally my van shows up delivered but no word from my sales woman. mind you i never gave them my check for the down payment and this womam never called to make surety received it. i had to give the very kind and personable man who delivered the van to me. he told me he would make sure that the dealership received my down payment. basically he was doing the sales woman job. she should've made sure they received my down payment or made arrangements to get it. not a good way to do business. I don't believe this sales woman knew what she was doing. in my opinion this whole buying a van process was all backwards. if the van needed serviced they should have never started the paperwork process for me to buy the van. they should've had me put money down on the van and not filled out any paperwork until the service was completed that way I could've drove off the lot with my van and not had to wait. never again will I buy a vehicle or sign any paperwork without being guaranteed the service was completed and nothing is wrong with the vehicle. communication was absolutely terrible. did not appreciate being given the run around and not knowing what was going on with my van. would not recommend dealing with this dealership. worst car buying experience I've ever had.

I bought a 2014 Fiesta from a different dealership in June and have been having issues with it ever since. I had taken the car back to that dealership 5 different times for them to try a different "fix" for my car stuttering when trying to go from very slow or stopped. I had purchased a warranty when I bought the car but they kept wanting me to wait and have them try more and more things until eventually they told me to take the car to a bigger dealership for assistance.I first went to Donley Ford Shelby and literally as soon as I finished briefly explaining my situation and pulled out my warranty paperwork, the service manager said "Yeah, we charge a $150 administrative fee just to deal with that warranty company." He proceeded to tell me that my issue could not be fixed and that I should try getting out of my warranty because it is no good. He then told me that if I had a check engine light come on, I could bring it there and they could check the TCM, which Ford would pay for as part of an extended manufacturer warranty, but even then, they can't get the parts for the TCM right now.So, I called Sharpnack Ford. And boy am I glad that I did! They got me in 2 days later and told me my car isn't safe to be driving in the condition that it's in. Tom Sharpnack himself got on the phone with the warranty company (which Sharpnack had no issues with dealing with, unlike Donley) to ensure that I would be approved for a loaner right then and there so that they could keep my car to get it fixed.I can't speak for the sales part of Donley, but I'd definitely skip the service department!

Dealership will mislead you. I live over an hour away and had been working with a sales person to purchase a used truck. I was discussing price with them and had already secured financing. I was told the price would be reduced if financed through dealership and get "first choice" then once credit application was completed they did not want to reduce the price. I said I would buy at full price but would use my financing and called out the agreement to lower price. They then agreed to lower the price but then sprung a non refundable deposit on me for a used vehicle that I could not get back unless I bought and would not budge or make it conditional then started to tell me how much other interest there was in the truck. My opinion is they did not want to sell me the truck at the promised lowered price so they added a non refundable deposit requirement and backed away from that promise of me getting first choice. Truck was sold to someone else and now my credit score has dipped due to multiple hard inquires. Good luck if purchasing through them. I hope it goes better for others.

Very rude staff & management. Stated his own personal policies outside of the Ford company. Charging me for services I did not agree to or ask for. Manager refused to call back to hear my incident. Will never return.

Rickey, my Sales Consultant and Jan the site Finance Manager both worked hard to make sure i left, that same day, with the car I was looking at. They were perfect and awesome at their jobs. No pressure at all (thank you Rickey) and I highly recommend. I will be back. Love my car.

Not a satisfied customer today.I went truck shopping with my son, they said the truck we wanted was at another store but they would have it brought over.. should take about 45min. Acceptable and appreciated. 30min later we get a call saying it will be another hour. .we drive to the other lot, look at said truck and look at purchasing it. Then starts the salesman dance. Plus he already had another set of customers ahead of us and no one else offers to help us. 45min later and we said forget it and walked out.Very dissatisfied with thier customer service today.
