I was given one day to find a new car as my other one was getting totaled by insurance. I saw a car that Spencer had posted. Set up to see it the next day. Drove the car and it seemed to have no issues. Had to leave to go to the bank. Came back and still it all seemed fine. Drive the car home and leave later that night for the check engine light to come on. Had to scanned and it s the catalyst converter. (Check engine light was reset apparently when I went to the bank) I get that the car was bought as is however this was shady. That s not something small and should have been told about when I bought the car. I m now looking at $1,300+ in repairs. I have been blocked somehow from rating him on Facebook marketplace. He hasn t responded to my messages.If you re looking at a car from him be more cautious. Bring a scanner that shows when the system was reset. Cause he obviously wasn t honest with me at all.I had to clear out my savings to buy this car and now I m screwed as I m in a county that still has e-check and have to make the repairs before my tags expire.
