I took my truck there for mounting and balancing 35x12.50 /20 tires, oil change and alignment. They destroyed my rims. They put balance beads in instead of balancing the tires, left weights on the front tires and all the adhesive from the old weights on the rears. 1 of my TPMS won't read. I need to have the beads taken out, remounted balanced and the TPMS relearned or purchased a new 1. The alignment was terrible. On their behalf they dropped all financial chargers $478 I paid nothing. The truck vibrates terribly. So I need to pay a professional shop to fix what they destroyed.

Reasonably priced. Great service. Called, and they got me in next day for tires and brakes. Definitely the goto in Sandusky.

I ve been a faithful customer for the last couple of years and up until now everything had been great with the quality of labor here. I never had any major issues with my car until now. It was always oil changes and other minor things that I needed fixing and I never had an issue thus building my trust to bring my car here only for work. Recently I started having front end issues like brakes making noise and bad shaking causing all of my brake lights to stay on. Brought it here with the faith that it would be fixed with no problems. Dropped it off and about an hour later I got a call saying I needed various parts replaced. Such as rotors, cv joints, tie rod ends and a few other thing with labor and cost after taxes adding up to exactly 1,064 dollars. I paid it with no question because of the trust I thought I had gained. Long story short ten minutes after pulling out of the parking lot break lights were back on and I was having the same issues. I spoke with Bob the manager or owner I m not sure be he assured me he would take care of me. But he never kept good on his word. Now I m out of over a grand and still trying to find get my car fixed. In response to your response mr bob respectfully that s a lie you actually got in the car with me while i drove so you could try and hear where the noise was coming from on the front end of my car.

came in for a full synthetic oil change, a slow leak, and a single bald tire in the front. (we figured it was an alignment issie) left with a synthetic blend oil change (not what I have always gotten since I bought the car), no explanation for the bald tire other than might need an alignment (apparently you don't do them), and I need two new tires so the slow leak can't be fixed. So I left with an oil change I didn't want, three tires are still well over the wear indicators (confirmed somewhere else) but they tried to sell me two new ones, and a bald tire not replaced that I wanted replaced with no explanation.

Not many fair honest dealerships left. Not the cheapest but fair prices and good people. Owner Bob actually works there talking to customers, good to see ownership in the trenches!

I called in the morning to see if I could get my tire looked at due to a slow leak. Everyone that I dealt with, on the phone and in person that very same day, were polite and conscientious. I highly recommend this location !

I highly recommend District Tire and Auto. Bob, the manager, and his staff were so helpful and literally saved my daughter and my life. We had driven to Sandusky for Cedar Point and my car was making a terrible sound and obviously had something wrong. They were busy, but took the time to investigate the problem immediately and found that my wheel was literally about to fall off and had not been put on properly. They fixed the problem for me promptly and were so honest and helpful. I would highly recommend that anyone go there for honest, quality service. They are GOOD people!

This place is great. Im on vacation at Hotel Breakers/Cedarpoint & had a flat tire yesterday. Googled & found this place to be close with great reviews. Ryan was so nice & got me right in & back to normal. Thx from this tourist. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, my dodge Journey needed critical attention due to worn parts. District was up front and honest with me about what needed fixed. I asked if they could show me the issues and Alan took me through each problem what it does, what happens when it s loose or broken and the effects of not getting it fixed. Alan took his time to explain and answer any question I had about my car. Ryan made a detailed list of parts and labor cost. I m new to Sandusky and have trust issues with dealerships and mechanics, needless to say they ve earned my business. I probably won t go anywhere else for work on my vehicle but district tire. If you re on a budget, and are weary of shops like me, go to district tire.

Went to get an alignment done. I just put fresh ball joints, tie rod sway bar links on the car. They tell me my jam nuts are stuck on the tie rods that are brand new and want to charge me an extra $50 to break them free. Then I get the car back and I asked for the printout. They said it's in the car. No it's not in the car. I go and ask for it. They said they can't get it for me because it's already gone. They said had I asked for a printout I would have got one but since I didn't ink cost money and so does paper so they don't print them out. I'm sorry but it's common practice to print out the before and after alignment page so the customer can physically see what was going on with their vehicle. I give you a one star rating for horrible customer service, not to mention the incompetence of the fact that you can't bust a jam nut loose. Please hire better mechanics.

We got a flat tire on the way to cedar point. They had us repaired and safe in time to barely miss any of our day at the park. I cannot say enough about their kindness, professionalism, knowledge, and speediness! THANK YOU!

Their service was excellent. They took care of us with no problems. It's my mom's favorite place to get her cars fixed, and now I see why. They didn't stop until they get the problem fixed. That to me.... Is excellent customer service. if you ever come through Sandusky and have any car problems.... go there!

We were 4.5 hours from home last night and suffered a flat tire on Ohio Turnpike. Direct Tire took care of us right away this AM and expertly fixed our tire. We were back on the highway under an hour. Wonderful service! Thank you!

Had to tow my 03 impala to district tire to get several repairs done. Ryan made the whole process easy great communication and service. Repairs done properly and in a very reasonable amount of time and also for what I believe was at a great price! Thanks again for going above and beyond

My tire pressure had been getting low even after refilling it. So I took it in today, a little before 11, and they called me around 12:20 saying it they fixed it. It was only $33. The guy at the desk was friendly. There was no sneaky business with them trying to get me to buy extra stuff. Will definitely come back!

Have a customer who took her car here. I Have a wholesale account with a part supplier in the area. I was trying to help my customer who relocated. I offered to have parts delivered to this store and I was going to pay the labor for the customer. This guy Bob tells me we do not install customer parts and then says in the same sentence he would charge me double the labor if I had parts delivered for my customer.If you do not install customer parts, then why would you charge double? Makes no sense.Well anyway I paid to move the customer to another shop that had no problem with installing supplied parts for a fair price.I would avoid this place. Every business deserves to make money, but purposely price gouging is not right. I have reported your actions.Plus I could walk in off the street and buy parts for 25% less than the 100% mark up you wanted to charge.

Came here with my dad a few days ago because my Chevy Malibu had a flat tire. The guys were really nice and the guy who changed the tire was really cute! They even said our dog was allowed in which is good in my book. Wish I could give 10 stars! Also the price was reasonable.

District has been doing work on my vehicles for years we had a belt install issue yet as always district tire backed up there work if your in need of any alignment work I recommend Allen at district many years experience

District has been one of the most reliable and reasonable repair shops I have been to. I take all of my vehicles there and am never disappointed. Just took my LR3 there knowing they will do an awesome job! I totally recommend these guys. Great service and super friendly!

When I needed a tire patched, everyone else in town told me there was no way they could take 15 minutes to get me in same day. District tire got me right in and appreciated my business. So today when I decided to get new tires, I took my business to them! They've earned it through great customer service!

Women beware! Do not go in here alone. I was trying to get my a/c fixed in my old work Jeep. They took it in and called me within a couple hours leaving a message saying it was cold and ready to go. I was excited to have air! A few hours went by, picked it up, only to have a very warm ride home, air wasn t even cool. Called to let them know and was told that I must have a leak somewhere - the whole reason I took it to them! They blew me off on the phone like I was being unreasonable.Finally got another day off work-took my Jeep to another mechanic and found out all the hoses were capped, evaporator was unhooked and there was no way my system could have been re-charged-like I paid for.I took my bf in with me to have them explain what could have happened, the guy flat out lied saying he told me things he never even mentioned!Sad business practices. I tell everyone who will listen to steer clear of this place.

Took my car for Alignment. Got all 4 tires, done in 40 minutes. Got a print out of the outcome. Computer not working for bills. Have to go back again to pick up the bill. Accepted credit card. Nice, efficient people.
