The TL;DR version: fantastic staff and shop. 10/10. Highly recommend.I was in the area running an errand and my car started seriously overheating. After calling 3 other shops to unavailable numbers, I finally called this one. They were able to get me in as an emergency repair as I needed to be back in Cleveland that evening.I arrived at approximately 1:45, and after diagnostics and repair I was on the road again by 5pm.Every staff member was exceedingly kind, understanding, and helpful. The couch in the waiting area was comfy enough I ended up dozing a bit. And from I could see through the windows into the shop they have, hands down the cleanest shop I have ever seen. (And I have been in auto, fabrication, welding, blacksmithing, and glass shops)Hands down the best experience with an auto shop I have ever had, and hope to never repeat again. But if I am ever in that area again and have car issues I will 100% be returning.

We had a company truck go down due to an exhaust issue and these guys were incredible. They had it fixed quickly and the communication was top notch!

These guys were great! We were stranded 4 hours from home with a vehicle that would not start. They found room for us in their busy schedule, diagnosed the problem shortly after we were towed in, and had the vehicle fully repaired within a few hours at a reasonable price. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Thank you!

Highly recommend Deiderick Motors. I decided to try this place after my husband had his car looked at here. I have always went to the dealership I bought my car from for the past 10 years. However, I had noticed a noise my car was making and took it to the dealership a year or so ago and they told me nothing was wrong. I continued to take it to the dealership for the past year for oil changes. Then my brake light turned on and I thought I might try someplace else to take a look so I decided to go here. I only mentioned my brake light to the employee and that I needed an oil change. An employee called me to talk about what was wrong with my car and mentioned that I probably heard a noise while I was driving due to this (I did not even mention this!). He mentioned all the problems with my car and potential fixes. He mentioned what he definitely thought I needed fixed now and what I will eventually need fixed. They even send you a link and pictures of problems. You are able to select what you want fixed and what services you do not want. I certainly love a place that is transparent. They show you the prices upfront. My car was fixed very quickly. My car is now driving much more smoothly and I can no longer hear the noise. Also, the prices are very fair and they are transparent. I don't think I have ever had better car service. Overall, I cant recommend this place enough.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Brakes, Battery

A true 5* review. On 10 hr drive to Sandusky from NY we got an AWD trouble message half way there....on a Sunday afternoon. Searching for auto shops we saw Deiderick with a multitude of 5* reviews with a "text us" feature. Without much hope since it was a Sunday, we sent the text and got a reply within a very short amount of time. Texted back and forth. Explained problem and events and Tatiana was able to accurately summarize what was going on better than I could explain. She told us to get to shop for Monday morning, no wait, no appointment. She also gave me 2 local taxi numbers so I didn't have to search for those. They were amazing. Kept in contact with us for 2 days while they did everything they could to recreate the error message. Unfortunately they could not, though they sure tried (typical scenario with engine codes not being stored and problem never happens when you need it to). The best was the reasonable price I was charged in relation to the outstanding service I received. Who contacts an auto body shop on a Sunday afternoon and has their car hooked up to the shop computer by Monday morning when you're not even a local customer? Outstanding. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worry, and however it worked out we didn't get the trouble light back on the whole 10hr drive back. Magic! You can tell I'm a happy customer. Also, I have never seen a shop as clean as this one. Their shop floor is nicer than a lot of restaurant kitchens I've seen. THANK YOU!!3hrs from home on a softball trip. I called several service centers to hopefully get my SUV fixed with no luck. Deiderick Motors, even though they had a full days work, squeezed me in that same day realizing my struggle. They inspected, repaired, n had my SUV ready for pick up within a couple hrs.They were cheaper than expected, their communication was amazing especially working with me through text since my phone service wasn t very good. If I m ever in the area with vehicle needs again, that s the only place I will be calling!!Service: Exhaust

I drove 4 hours from out of town on the 4th of July and noticed a problem with my car upon arrival. I messaged Deiderick Motors knowing they might not get back to me until the following day since it was a holiday. To my surprise, they replied not even 20 minutes later. They got me in the next morning and promptly sent pictures with a full report of what was wrong with my car. The software that they use to keep their customers informed of repairs is top-notch. They fixed my car within a day, and I was able to pick it up the next morning to make my original departure time (which they made sure of).I truly have never been to a mechanic this thorough or genuinely concerned about their customers. I really wish I didn't live 4 hours away, or they would be my go-to!Service: Brakes

I had a car emergency driving from NYC to South Bend, IN. Halfway there, almost all the lights on my dashboard lit up and half of those were blinking. Deiderick Motors answered our desperate texts AFTER hours and had us bring the car in first thing the next morning. They diagnosed it correctly and fixed it quickly at a fair price. And they couldn t have been nicer! I m lucky to have found them and I highly recommend them.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair

Many of us know the fear in trying to find someone honest and reliable to work on our vehicles. Comfortable in saying I've found my place. Great family run business. Honest pricing, excellent work. I dont know much about working on cars, they showed pictures of what was wrong and thoroughly explained it with my estimate. My Jeep was spewing large amounts of oil everywhere. They fixed it very quickly and a few dollars under estimate. Cleaned up all the oil, looked like new. Shortly after, a coworker of my was having serious issues with her Jeep. I Recommended Deiderick. She was absolutely thrilled with her experience. Another coworker took our advice and went here for routine maintenance. Same experience, very happy. Thank yall for your hard work and honesty. There is a reason this place only has 5 stars!! It is HARD to find a trustworthy mechanic and IMPOSSIBLE to find one while traveling and having car problems. Thank God I went here! Fit me into the schedule and got our family back on the road!Wish I lived close so I could use them for regular maintenance but if you are near or break down in Sandusky, this is the place to take your car!

New to the area and needed work for my 06 Subaru. Took my car in and by the next day had a quote for the services needed. I was able to pick the most important ones that I couldn't do myself to have completed, and once approved, my car was done in days. I was amazed! Service is wonderful, and the staff are truly there every step of the way! I am so thankful for everything and will continue to use Deiderick for anything other services my vehicle needs. Had my car serviced a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. They were able get my car in the next day and fixed within 2 days. The man I spoke with over the phone and at the counter was professional and seemed genuinely kind. They text a very detailed inspection with photos and descriptions of what is wrong with your vehicle and if the problem needs to be addressed immediately. I will definitely be returning for any future repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

While visiting the local attractions on a trip our vehicle had brake and rotor issues which needed repairs before we could make our trip back home. This shop was able to get our vehicle diagnosed and repaired in a very timely manor understanding our travel situation. The staff was even kind enough to assist us in getting to a local restaurant to get food for our kids while we waited. Very family friendly, honest and genuine business. I am highly impressed with this shop! First and foremost their communication is stellar and their receptionist is sure to keep communication throughout the entire process of your car being fixed. My car was fixed in less than 24 hours, and pricing was clear and decent! They also provide pictures of exactly what was wrong and needed to be repaired. I was away on vacation in Sandusky when I encountered some car trouble. I called Tatiana and she got me in 20 minutes later. My problem was diagnosed and the parts were ordered. I have a mechanic back home and called him to check on the cost and the repair plan. He advised to get it done with Deiderick because their price was what he would charge back home. They did the repairs right away for me and we were able to travel home. They were so nice and very reasonable. We were in a tight spot and they helped us out! I d recommend them to anyone

We purchased a 2017 Trax from Deiderick Motors about a year ago. The staff was personable and warm, like old family friends, but also very professional! When our car required maintenance recently they remembered us by name and serviced the vehicle quickly! We were informed of every step in the process. Including an online portal to review and e-sign required documents! They were very helpful and accommodating. They did a great job on my car/exhaust and the turn around time was very quick. I was able to get my car back the next morning and they even made sure I had a ride to the shop to pick it up. This was my first experience with Deiderick Motors. The customer service here is outstanding. The service manager is very knowledgeable, a true professional mechanic. I forgot to mention an issue I was having and they brought it to my attention after repair and driving my car to ensure a proper ride. Obviously, they are observant and truly invested and their work. Amazing service! They got back to me extremely fast after requesting an appointment. They got me in right away and fixed my cooling fan assembly as well as a significant oil leak. They are extremely honest and take pictures of everything, so you don t just have to take their word for it. We took our daughter and all her friends to Kalahari for her 16th birthday this weekend, and when we were 20 minutes away our van started to act up. Thankfully we made it to Kalahari and called AAA. We were told that we would not be able to find anywhere in the area that would help us quickly, (we are from Michigan and needed to drive home 2 days later, plus its Labor Day weekend). We used the texting service Deiderick has and they responded quickly and were so nice. The next morning at 7:30a we called and they said they could help us! We had our van towed to the shop, and they communicated so well the entire time and gave us constant updates. Then they went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Since this was our only full day at Kalahari, we asked if we could pick up a day later so we didn't have to miss time at the waterpark, and without hesitation, they offered to drop the van off at Kalahari for us. They did an amazing job on my van, and went above and beyond with their customer service. I cannot thank them enough. I would recommend them 10000x. They were great...I was passing thru the area when my power steering quit working. They fit me in at the end of the day and got me back on the road in an hour and a half. Nice people, clean facility, and a great mechanic who spent time at the end explaining exactly what happened. This is the first car place I've been to that i feel respected and taken care of, and never talked down to! Stopped at Rt. 250 lot to check out their Used Car selection and was impressed with owners. Gave service department a try and have been having them do maintenance service ever since. They are a very professional small business that doesnt try to make a quick buck on you. They treat you well so you keep returning. Good luck on new location!

Incredible service - took care of us on very short notice, and stayed an hour past close just to make sure we were all set. Coming from out of state this was a great help and relief.
