Great experience, been in the business for over 30 years and this is my 10th Exmark first time purchasing here as my other dealer went out of business. The sales staff was professional easy to talk with and did exactly what they said they would.

Our mower continued to give us issues and we couldn t figure it out, then a few more problems came out of nowhere.We took it into hilltop and not only did they figure out our mystery problem, they found several more and they made all the repairs quickly and the costs were so affordable.Also all points of contact from customer service, mechanical services, and delivery were delightful.Thank you hilltop you are definitely a cut above the rest!!

I don t often change a review. In this case I haves dropped my initial review of 5 stars to 3. I bought a SCAG Tiger Cat 2 from Hilltop. However, after only 148 hours of use, the engine started running extremely rough. I knew something was seriously wrong. I had taken meticulous care maintaining the mower and changing / checking engine oil at SCAG recommended intervals.I took the SCAG back to Hilltop where I purchased it and after a week of it being there, I was told the engine (Kohler ECV860) needed to be replaced and was quoted $7200 do do so. This was a mower that was supposed to last for several more years certainly much longer than 148 hours. And I didn t have $7200 to drop on repairing my mower. I cut my losses and sold the SCAG with the blown engine.My complaint is equally with SCAG, as Hilltop. I will continue to use Hilltop for smaller needs: chainsaw blades, etc, but I will not buy - or recommend anyone else buy a mower from Hilltop.I recently bought a mower for about half the price I paid for my SCAG, I have about 6 acres that I cut, and this mower that I just bought cut better than my SCAG ever did.

Every one here I have ever worked with or spoke too here has been excellent. I grew up on a farm in the area and we always came here for our service. I can remember comming here in October of 2003 the first time. It's been a few seasons since then and have always had great experiences here. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, if they don't know it they will find the answer your looking for usually pretty quick. Bob out front was great in helping me choose the right new system for my business with stihl. The kombi system was perfect for us. Our Scag journey started with Don then led to Steve and Heather, all of which were awesome to put it mildly. We got the best machine for the job and for us with all of their help. Speaking to the last 20 years of service I can also say we have always been happy and the work has always been great. Hilltop has always been reliable, they have kept us warm in the winter with our saws, and busy during the summer with everything else. Stop in for your business or your family, they can help both to scale!

Im a new customer here, my family has been coming here for longer than I have been alive for both equipment and service. Just today we picked up a new Stihl FS-70, and a Cub Cadet SC500K for the business. The additional trimmer went to work today and helped us cut trim time in half. The Cub is has the same power as our Scag but much lighter makinking hillsides safe, easy, and fast. I see why I have always been told to come here. We have never been disappointed.

Nice selection of equipment, but the best part is the awesome staff. They are very friendly, informative and take the time to assist you, even if their potential customers is a thirteen year old kids starting a lawn service company. Super impressed as the father of that kid.

I've been in the lawn care and landscaping business since 2006. There are different times when a small equipment problem such as a flat tire or some other minor issue will interrupt my day and it's very important to me that I can get it fixed and get up and going again as quick as possible. Some other mower shops in the area seem to not even give me the time of day. All they tell me is "we're three weeks out we can't look at it for 3 weeks." A small issue that may only take 15 minutes to repair, really, you can't get to it for 3 weeks? However Hilltop, is not like that. They have great customer service and when I need something done quickly they are very polite and they do it right away. I don't expect to be put to the front of the line with major issues that take hours and hours for repair but I appreciate their good customer service when I just need help so I can get back up and running in a timely manner. As far as I'm concerned the other places have completely lost my interest, I'm going to Hilltop. Thank you!

They will not be getting my business anymore we called to check on availability of a part an the person that answered the phone told us to shut up as we was explaining the part that we needed . We go into the store and was not greeted the guy that answered the phone that was at the desk was very rude we brought in our weedwacker to show them the part we needed he proceeded to take the air box off an didn t have the right socket size an he literally threw the racket an socket an started to slammingthings an raising his voice when he went into the back looking for parts I hope nobody else has to deal with this problem this imployee should not be dealing with the public I will be contacting better business bureau

I didn't end up buying from Hilltop but it was closing time and the staff probably wanted to go home but stayed after to go over specs and explain everything I asked. I needed a lawn mower/ or zero turn. I'm kind of glad I couldn't buy it....it really wasn't what I wanted. But as I said the staff was amazing...person to person is where it's at....5 stars from me.

It is difficult these days to find exceptional customer service. Hilltop goes above and beyond where others fall way short. I recently had warranty service done on a zero turn tractor which was purchased at another dealership. Repairs were made and I was able to pick my tractor up within 48 hours! The push rod was replaced and they also changed the oil and filter. What really made this an excellent experience was the fact that my tire was fixed also when I picked it up. It had a flat when I dropped it off and it needed patching and a new valve stem. Hilltop fixed the tire and didn't charge me a penny. All the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They also helped me obtain financing for a new scag zero turn. If you are looking for a great experience and quality equipment, I highly recommend Hilltop Lawn and Garden. Thanks again to the staff for the exceptional service.

They said my snow blower would be repaired by the end of this week. It was! This is the place to do business. Friendly, down-home fchargeI had to take my snow blower back to have the carburator rebuilt. Since the admitted they missed that in my first visit, they didn't charge me labor. This is the best place to get repairs done. Honest family owned business.

Freindly and knowledgeable staff. Ownership is usually in the building. Very hands on. Good selection of Stihl products. I have bought several chain saws ,mowers, and lawn trimmers as well as chains, blades and cutter string. Only place I will go for chain saws and Cut Cadet mowers.
