Purdy's has worked on my cars and my mother's van for years. He and his team work hard, but fast. They do quality work! They are kept very busy, which shows me their customers appreciate the work they have done.

My wife's alternator stopped working on her way back to Columbus from Ft Wayne. Not being familiar with the area she called a friend that lived near Indian Lake and they told her to call Todd at Purdy's. It was well after business hours when the tow truck dropped off her vehicle but Todd happened to still be there. Being Thursday evening before Easter I assumed we were looking at a few days. They in fact got a new alternator and had it installed by 4:30 Friday and we were back on the road for the holiday weekend. Worked us in on what appears to be a pretty tight schedule and did it all at a fair price - by my estimation about the same as it would have cost me to tow it all the way to Columbus and do the work myself. Nice to find a small independent shop that provides good (and critically, honest) service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My experience was great. I got a last minute call that my father in-laws truck needed service. I had limited window to get to the lake and get it fixed. I stopped in at Purdy's to see if they could maybe work me into the schedule for sometime that day. I was amazed at what they did. Their bays were full but they stopped working on what they were doing cleared a bay, pulled the truck in and began fixing the problem.They fixed the problem quickly and had me on my way.They provide great service and really go out of their way to service your vehicle.If you need auto service while at the lake I recommended Purdys

Taken several cars here over the last year or so. Very nice owner/manager (Todd). He explains things well, the estimates are always on the money, and the cars are fixed perfectly the first time. I think his labor rates are very good, and prices for parts are average or a little better. No complaints!

I needed 4 trailer tires balanced on my utility trailer. I called he said come right over. The price was extremely fair and they were quick but thorough. Very nice guys to work with. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

First time I came to Purdy's was for an oil change which I thought my car needed. However, I had mis-read the sticker and it wasn't due for another thousand miles. The mechanic checked it and told me that he could change it if I wanted, but it wasn't due and the oil still looked good. Some places would have changed it and not said anything. Purdy's has always been an honest and dependable place to do business.Service: Oil change

Purdys is almost always able to get us in quickly for whatever we might need done to a vehicle. Nice and friendly service. I would recommend going here for all your vehicle needs.

Spent $1300 for nothing. We took our Captiva for a chugging problem. When we picked it up, the issue was still the same. Took it back to Purdy's only to leave with the same issues. VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT GIVING AWAY $1300.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Todd totally saved our Thanksgiving. We were driving through and we managed to limp the car into Purdy's. Todd got us back on the road at a price that was more than fair. So awesome to find honest and professional people like this.

One more thing to add no engine oil in truck after "doing a repair". Employees are even going around saying the blame is on me. Pretty bad TODD says to me 4900 bucks do you have a bad cam? Do ya? I said how I go from 2100 dollar quote to 30 days to 4900 no engine oil which I've got receipts to prove. Can't get over how many months this thing set down there! 1 year way to long. Todd was very nice, I think he gave a fair price considering all that needed done, He also got it done in a timely matter. Fixed everything he was asked . I would recommend Purdys.

I broke down returning from Ohio to Michigan, and was fortunate to be near Purdy's. Ken and his team fit me in on an emergency basis despite their being completely full, and then treated me as though I was a long-time customer, even though they knew I'm unlikely to ever return to them. Ken even drove me to the nearest motel as the required part wasn't immediately available.I cannot speak highly enough about Ken, his wife, and the shop. Highly recommended.

...all you need to know about this shop and the ego of the owner, is to look around back where a sign says "Reserved for Ken". It's not a tech corporation in San Jose...it's a dump in the middle of Nowhere, Ohio, making less than 500k a year. Imagine how the employees are treated.

Great place highly recommend somebody to do their they're all friendly they do what they need to do on your vehicle and they don't find other stuff that's wrong with it and say other prices highly recommended
