Initial Review: I'd like to first off thank one of the staff members named April at this Conrad's location I was at last night. I am still saddened how the quality of service was diminished by the manager's lack of communication towards me while I was already dealing with a very traumatic injury from a semi truck blowing its foghorn in my ear and a flat tire. April's very patient and attempted to the address the fact that I had just had a flat tire on the way to an ER in Lakewood. Hopefully when I pick up my car today it'll be a better experience and I can make a positive review update.Final Verdict: Turns out my car sat for too long and the brakes needed a bit more drive time to loosen up. Ed handled everything professionally and pickup was easy.

I m glad to see this place never changed, the work they do is very sloppy and they are consistent with being incompetent . Typical upsell method used at the time of checkout for some cleaning of the fuel injectors, which is a complete joke because there s no proof that stuff actually works and as you will read, they can t even keep the exterior car clean. I came in for oil change and tire rotation, and when the vehicle was pulled around, I immediately noticed large grease stains on the hood and I requested a shop towel to clean my hood, and then when I opened my hood, I saw that the windshield washer reservoir was not refilled, and when I got in the vehicle went to drive away , the technician decided to put on his country music station channel on my radio. If they spent more time doing a clean quality job and not changing the radio station to some stupid channel, then I would leave a positive review and why is it so important to change the station to begin with for an oil change and tire rotation ?"

We all know that it's very difficult to find honest and trustworthy mechanics. Here, at Conrad's, you won't find that problem. John, Brian & the rest of the staff were very professional and knowledgeable about everything and made me feel at ease.Management, if you read this, your doing a phenomenal job.

NOT DIGGIN ITSet up an online appointment for a set of tires sat around for 90 minutes to be told only 2 of the 4 came in and the matching pair are no longer available. This was the second time this place completely failed, I didn't post that one but now I'm mad. I happen to be in the repair business, in fact I managed this very shop for 5 years in the early 90's. I understand things happen but when it continues to happen it makes you think about your decision to do business with an organization. I will not make a purchase from this store again. I'm writing this as I sit here waiting. We are now at 2 hours, my car still on the lift. I asked if we were buttoning things up. The response I got was I am waiting on your oil filter, it's being delivered. Thats information I could have used over 30 minutes ago. I say to the manager, "This is an epic failure, you know that?" He responds with "it is". Anyone want to offer an apology? I am sorry I came back.

Do not take your vehicle here. I was quoted $1,100 for new rotors and break shoes for my 2018 Hyundai Tucson. A battery inspection was $40 including tax and a shop fee!!! So disappointing. The good news is I found an independent shop a few miles away with great reviews. I will be saving almost 30% and I will be giving my money to a local business that cares more about relationships that overcharging their customers.

I did not feel welcomed in the store. (I am still questioning why) After the oil change, I realized that the glovebox was on the floor and did not put it properly. I informed them and somebody came with cabin filter (they forgot to put it back also). The gentleman said sorry and put them back but it showed me the quality of the work. I went there for a free inspection, but they did not give any paper even didn't mention anything verbally. When I called them and asked about the inspection they told me that everything is fine that is why we did not say anything. (I heard noises when I break, I don't know how bad it is because it was not inspected properly).P.S.: My previous oil change they forgot to turn off the service light also.

Tough look for Conrad s. Not only did they call me 40 mins before my appointment trying to get me to reschedule (I had a Saturday 9am scheduled for 5 days), but then I had to call them at 4:45 (they closed at 5). They told me they are working on the car now and it would be done by 5:15 at the latest.I drive up to Conrad s arriving at 5:15-5:20. They call me again as I m pulling in to tell me that one of the bolts from my wheel stud was cross threaded and stripped. No one at the store could fix it and I was told I won t be able to get my car back until Monday around 11amSo not only did they try to cancel on me, but my car also sat at Conrad s untouched for 7.5 hours just to find out one of their techs that is no longer with the company was the one who worked on my car last.Long story short I do not have a car all weekend and will have to take a half day at work to be able to get my car Monday

I would give 10 stars if I could. This Conrad s has the best customer service I ve ever experienced. There are 2 closer locations to me but I will always go to Rocky River location. Paul is extremely kind and helpful. They provide a video of the inspection to explain everything that is wrong and everything that needs to be done. I cannot recommend this Conrad s enough.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Go elsewhere. Purchased new set of tires for my newer vehicle. They put the wrong size tire on one of my wheels. Weren't willing to troubleshoot that issue. Took the car to the dealership where they said what a joke the tire place put the wrong size tire on your car. I complained and received no apology. If the tire place cant even check there work steer clear. Clearly they don't value you as a customer.

Went in to have a tire looked at that had a nail in it.Upon further eyeball investigation- instead of taking the tire off and checking it, and then measuring the tread, was told that the nail was too close to the side wall so I would have to have all four tires of my AWD small suv replaced and that they would have to order them in because they didn t have Bridgestone tires- the tires that I currently have. I just got this car and drive it mostly to work (knowing the tread is still pretty measurable).I unconvincingly declined and left feeling that they take advantage of people this way.

Great customer service! I had issues with my car. The car was vibrating usually when I started it . The manager found some of the of the problems and he explained the problems to me. He helped me with the repair work and went out of his way to repair only what was needed now. I know that a lot of labor was done to complete the repairs and we worked out a plan. I was very happy with the work and the bill was less than I expected. I ve been at this Conrad s for over twenty years and I take all four of my cars there. Joe Rivera

What an unexpectedly fantastic experience with auto repair! I had a flat tire out of the blue on Monday, but was able to get my car to this facility. They were able to diagnose, show me the issue, solve it, and have me rolling off their lot in only a little over an hour, after coming in without an appointment. Micheal took time to hunt down a matching tire and find me an affordable price for my budget. I am so impressed with his customer service and expertise. I didn't expect to have a good experience with a dreaded flat tire. Best of all, I was able to run the rest of my errands before places closed (early closures with CoVid-19). Thank you, Micheal and Conrad's for changing my opinion about auto repair chains. If I need something else done, I will be a return customer.

I hate leaving bad reviews just as much as I love to write great reviews and I've also been using Conrads for a little over 7 years now and today will be the last time I ever go there. I can list many things they've done in the past 2 years to try and lose me but I'll save everyone the time and list the most recent things: They've lost my appointment (showed up and they didn't have me on their scheduled when I called, made an appointment, and put it on my calendar) They don't fix issues the first time (I've been there multiple times for everything I needed done) Their communication is horrible (I'd come at the end of the day to pick up my car and was told it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow only to get home and have them call me saying it's ready to pick up 10 minutes later) The last visit I was there for the 3rd time for them to fix my break light that was out. I made the appointment on Monday for that coming Wednesday at 9am. I bring my car in at 9am- fast forward to me calling at 4:30 later that day only to find out they literally did NOTHING with it..... I can go on and on but my time is more valuable than having anything to do with this Conrads ever again. I'll save you all the years of headaches and just simply say DONT GO TO CONRADS

While the service people were great, friendly and helpful, I found the front of the office was horrible at time management. After promising me that my car would be looked at in time for me to make my other commitment for the day, it definitely was not. I even received an update on their progress, which I had to call to get, and it was also inaccurate. I was an hour late to where I had to be, after they had my car for almost 2.5 hours for a simple system diagnostic. To top it all off, the guy working the front desk tried to get me to pay for their services without telling me what was wrong with my car. I had to press to have the manager to come out and explain to me what they found before I paid for the diagnostic. I ended up taking my car to another Conrads location to have the repair.

Made an appointment to wait for the car. Once I got there they said it would be hours before they were done. I asked for the complimentary video, he understood. I get a full synthetic oil change. Well, didnt get the video, doors were not greased, maintenance light was not reset, I had a check engine light on and was told was car was just fine. Very disappointed in this service, also this was my first time back to Conrad's in over 5 years due to my happiness with service, well I was just reassured it is not the place for my fleet!

As a long time customer, I am usually very pleased with the service at the River location, however, at this appointment Conrad s failed me. I made the appointment by phone on Tuesday - by phone and not online only because I wanted to make sure they had enough time for an evening appointment, knowing they close at 6. I was reassured that if I was there by 5, an hour was plenty of time. I took off work 1/2 hour early and burned 30 minutes vacation to be certain to arrive no later than 5, which I did. My car was not taken back until 5:40 pm. When checking out I wanted confirmation that the tires were rotated, and they were not. I also asked them to lubricate my doors and it appears they were not either. I purposely choose Conrads instead of the 5 minute oil change, located right next door, because of the tire rotation and extra checks on my vehicle. If they couldn t provide a complete oil change in 20 minutes, since they had me waiting 40 minutes before they took my car back, then they should ve said something.

Another outstanding experience at Conrad s. They guys are great. Unfortunately I got a flat tire on the highway today. That took great care of my car, replaced the tire and I was back on the road in 30 mins at a very affordable fair price that was prorated because I purchased my tires with them. This was a different location than I normally go to but the service was just as excellent! Thank you for your continued great service.

I used to go to a nearby Ford dealership. I've had brakes, tires, oil changes, and miscellaneous other work done both at the Ford dealership and this Conrad's location. While I still comparison shop, I think Conrad's has my business from here on out.I'm not the most gentle driver and I've got an 8-year old SUV with over 140k miles, so there's been routine and not-so-routine work in the past few years. The quality is the same as far as I can tell. Meaning, no problems, I just keep driving. The service is great. Everyone there is cordial and professional, I've never felt pressured or like they're making a hard sell, and in my experience, they've been willing to cut deals. Today, for example, the dealership quoted a lower price on tires, because I'd been promised a tread warranty, but a much higher price on service. I told Conrad's the dealer's price on tires, not the bottom line, and they were more than happy to match it, no paperwork, just based on my word, and without processing the tread warranty (which I might have voided anyway). When I shopped both locations for brakes and bearings at the beginning of the year, Conrad's came in hundreds less than the dealership. They take the time to explain what's going on, will answer questions and produce quotes without insisting you come in, seem focused on customer satisfaction, and are generally just good people. The location itself is clean, has a TV and a good stack of magazines, a coffeemaker and a fridge stocked with soft drinks and water. It's more than a lot of auto shops offer, and I can't think of what else I'd expect. The location's also walking distance to a lot of other businesses on Center Ridge.Bottom line: Good people who can do just about anything for a heck of a lot less than the dealership.

Great service from Sales Manager Ryan, even after I told them I had to take my vehicle elsewhere only because an old car issue cropped up out of nowhere, that the dealership was the only ones to have a complete vehicle history record of this one-off issue that was unresolved for over year. Ryan didn t let the fact I was needing to take my car elsewhere get in the way of his superior customer service, in which he offered his expertise, gave examples of similar known issues that have impacted cars like mine and even helped the driver get my car on the tow truck. Ryan offered to see the issue all the way through but understood the reasons of wanting the dealership to handle it, I felt very valued and had it not been for the prior care my car received for this off the wall issue, I would have taken Ryan up on his promise to repair my car. I will continue to go to Conrad s for all my other needs that do not relate to this particular issue. I definitely recommend Ryan and his team at Conrad s Rocky River!

We had our tire pressure sensor go off shortly after starting our trip from CLE to Illinois. We had been having trouble with a particular tire and thought it best to exit and fortunately we were not far from this Conrad's. They were fantastic! We were there for just a tire repair which isn't a big "money maker" but they took the car in immediately-knowing we were looking at a 6 hr drive- and were able to fix the punctured tire. They were awesome. Thank you! Thank you!. Made it home safely with no issues.

One of the reasons that I keep returning to Conrad's for my automotive servicing needs is because I worked six years for them in the past and have seen their operation from the non-customer side, too. The organization puts the customer first in everything they do and does quality work at a fair price. My first experience with Conrad's was as a customer for tires before I worked for them. Then I spent six years delivering their parts at many of their stores and observing their customer treatment. Because of that I am still a customer because I believe in the phrase "Good work is not cheap, and cheap work is not good." If Conrad's doesn't have the lowest cost estimate for a given job, rest assured that the parts installed will be of superior quality and the job will be done right.

I will absolutely not be returning. I've never been treated so rudely that many times in a row. Half the staff talks to you like you're an 8-year-old if you're a woman, and the other half don't know how to handle screw-ups. I dropped my car off at 2:00 after being told that it was a two hour process, and when I called to find out why no one had contacted me about it being finished over two hours later, I was told that they had JUST put my car on the rack! Over two hours after my scheduled appointment! And when I explained my frustration, the person I spoke to tried to claim that it was my fault for misunderstanding the waiting-vs-drop-off time schedule (which is super f'd up - even if you schedule a service ahead of time, you automatically don't become a priority if you don't wait, even if it's multiple hours). To be clear, he did not explain it to me when I dropped it off. Do yourself a favor and go some where else for actual car care.

I would not recommend this Conrads location to anyone that needs anything other than a oil change. I don't usually write reviews but I thought I might protect other customer from getting fleeced. I took my truck in to have all the belts replaced, oil changed, tires rotated and aligned, and a flat repaired. Bill was $513. When driving the truck I noticed it handled different, rode different, and made a low noise. I took the truck back to Conrad's and asked if a technician could take the truck for a ride a tell me if something went wrong with the alignment or if it was something else. They told me a needed to make an appointment. I made an appointment and came back a few day later. At that time they told me I would have to pay $28 dollars for the technician to do a test ride in my truck. I wasn't pleased because the problem could have been a results of the alignment they did on my previous visit. After letting them know I wasn't pleased they agreed to ride in the truck for free. Nice guys. So far I was not happy with Conrad's customer care.As a result of the technician taking the truck for ride it was determined the truck need a new brake caliber, front wheel bearing, and the front brakes needed to be replaced. I approved the work. When they asked for payment I asked to review the bill. I noticed they was a core charge and core return credit. I asked them to explain and they told me that they put in a rebuilt caliper. Here I thought they used new parts when they replaced broken parts. Not so. Even if there was a good reason to use a rebuilt caliper I should have been told they were going to use a rebuilt caliper. Then I noticed they charged me $90 to change the brake fluid. This job took them 10 minutes once the truck was on the lift. OutragesMost service stations will give you back the parts they replaced or at least ask you if you want the parts. That way you can see the damaged part and understand why the work needed to be done. They did not give the parts or ask if I wanted them. When I first brought the truck in for service I asked if they could check why the engine light was on and they told me it would cost $128. I was shocked. Autozone does it for free. It would have taken them 10 minutes max to get the codes and let me know what needed to be done. I took it to Autozone and had it done for free.I know Service Centers mark up parts but not like Conrads. Autozone quoted me $59 for both front brakes. Conrads charged $223. That did not include labor. If you have a coupon get your oil changed at Conrads but I don't recommend getting anything else done there. If they have treated you right stay with them. I will never go back.

I just love this Conrad s location, and now that my car has more than 150,000 miles, it is very important to have a car repair provider that you can trust . This Conrad s location has replaced my tires, replaced disc brakes & calipers, secured guards on underside of the car, as well as performing routine oil changes & tire rotations. I know that if a warning light comes on, they will fit me in for an appointment, and take care of the issue. This time was a check-engine light, for an emission systems failure; it was caused by not tightening the gas cap tight enough. Conrad s did the diagnostics, ensured that the emissions system was functioning properly, and sent me on my way.I cannot say enough about their terrific service, and taking the time to explain that my Prius runs emissions diagnostics tests overnight, which coincides with this warning light appearing when I started the car on morning after I had gassed up the car. (This Conrad s replaced my gas cap in 2018 when the emissions failed due to the gas cap seal cracking from over-tightening it). If that Check-engine light comes on in the future, I will try tightening the cap, before calling to schedule an appointment.Thank you!

Tire blew out on Thursday morning. I called Conrad's that morning. They didn't ask for my details just told me if I dropped it off Friday morning they would fix tire Friday. I took car in Friday they didn't have tire in stock and had to order for that afternoon. They were too busy to install that afternoon, could not get to it till Saturday. I asked, "You will do it Saturday morning"?. They said no, I would have to drop it off Saturday morning but they didn't know when they could squeeze it in. I took my business elsewhere. Conrad's did me wrong by not getting my info over the phone when I called and telling me to come in Friday morning but not giving me official appointment so then I was behind everyone else in priority even though I called ahead and they acted t like they would jump on it when I brought car in.
