Well I took my semi over to them because they said they could fix it. I told them what I think was wrong with it. Clutch fan is bad. AFTER $220 to explore they came back and said they could not find any problems with the truck. I even had to come over and road test the truck for them because they have no CDL drivers there. My belt squeals at 65mph and still needs fix. Going to find a pro that can fix the issue. My truck sat for four days.

I am a shop owner. I called ahead with year make and model to price a set of injectors. I then sold the job to my customer. Upon pickup of injectors columbus diesel ordered the wrong ones for a complete different truck then informed me I would have to pay more for what I needed. Even though it was their mistake. The new cost they wanted me to pay was more than what I sold the injectors to my customer for. I will never do business here again. I recommend everyone to stay away from these guys. They are a joke.

If you need a part this is the place to go!! Needed a fuel line for my friend's 1996 Dodge Ram with the 5.9L. Dealership wanted $118 for just the line. Went to this place on a whim and they had it IN STOCK and the gaskets/o-rings for $45 after tax. Huge win for us!!! So if you need parts I highly recommend coming to this place first and talking to Matt. His desk is right behind the counter.

Called 5 mins to closing looking for parts availability,Matt was more than helpful and did not rush our call. Went next day, Eric met us at the door to cart our pump to the counter. He had Larry come to the desk to answer some questions I had. Larry had the parts installed the seals and rings in matter of few short mins. He noticed a couple small items I had forgotten and offered to take care of them. His watchful eye save me from destroying my pump. Larry,Eric, and Matt are very helpful and customer oriented. When we were ready to go Eric carried our items out to the truck for us. CDS's front desk is second to none

First off I run my own diesel repair shop been doing this a long time. Had a customers truck down called a few different places. These guys promised to test my injectors and have them back in 3-5days max. Well almost 3wks later I call them (they don t bother to call me) and they tell me I have 2 that are bad but can t explain why there bad. They quote me for 2 injectors which is about $120 higher per injector then I can buy them for local. So I tell them I ll pay for there testing (which was extremely nice of me considering it took 2wks longer than promised) they tell me all injectors are marked the good one and the bad ones. The next day I get my injectors back (shipping was $20 higher than I paid to send the injectors to them) not a single injector is marked I have no way of telling which two are the bad injectors call them and they tell me we mark every single injector send em back and we can re-test them which I already had a mad customer because his truck was supposed to be done 2wks ago. I tell him I want my money back and he proceeds to tell me I m lying those injectors have to be marked and the only way to get a refund is if I send them back. Um no thanks Columbus diesel I ll just eat the testing money I paid and send them to a real business that will follow through with a promise. PLEASE DONT TRUST THIS PLACE. SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!!

Quoted me $1300 for a lift pump and a valve adjustment on a 95 dodge 12 valve pickup... the pump was $98 from Cummins and I installed it as well as the valve set myself... I'm an average guy with zero mechanical knowledge and completed the job myself in just under 5 hours so why was CDS gonna peel my head off for $1300? Disappointed to say the least. As a business owner myself I know you have to turn a profit to keep the lights on but these guys are out for blood and I wouldn't take my lawn mower to them

Had them put a injection pump an lift pump and also a speed censor on that i brought them, so i just payed for labor which was $1200, they got it done in about 4 days, picked it up an immediately had to take it back because it had a very BAD! delayed shift, which i thought was speed censor, took it back an waited 4 days, an had to pay $120 fee for them to look at it, which in my opinion is stupid because that should be part of their problem because the truck was taken to them to be fixed, just picked it up today an it had the same problem but not as worse, so i just took it home anyways, I wasn't going to make another! trip down their!, Got it home an started looking at it an found springs an stuff that weren't re-installed on injection pump an that was the whole problem!! not the censor! an the mechanic had other theory's which i tried to tell them that it wasn't, but its pretty sad when i can call my brother who's in Idaho, doesn't have any certifications for diesel an in under 20 minutes him an my other brother had the truck fixed!, Just don't think this shops mechanics have much experience with something that isnt all electric and is all mechanical!, don't think i will take my truck back their.

The parts counter guys were very helpful, and had the exact seals in stock I needed to install my Stanadyne pump on my old John Deere. Half the price of Deere, but I did not get a cute little green and yellow bag.... Thanks!!!!

I was in a pinch and had to have a wheel bearing pressed in and out it took 8 tons of pressure to get it out . There is no way way i could of done it on my own or probably some shops would not of had a press that strong. my parts were wire brushed out so all the rust was gone very clean and ready for paint. very professional, fast, courteous, and don't know if anyone could of helped me better especially when i was in a bad spot. Thank you larry perkins at columbus diesel have already recommended you guys to everyone i've told this story to.

Takes super long time fix your equipment.you take it in for one problem and you come out with another, I definitely do not recommend it to anyone. I had to take my truck there 3 times just to fix one part and then had them put in injectors but they left the Val cover leaking oil I brought I back to them to fix it but then they broke an AC line also brought it back to them and when I cam to pick up the truck I saw the truck smokeing as if they dropped something in the engine. If you don't want any head aches stay away from Columbus diesel and find a real shop

Just called to see if they could press a hub/spendel bearing. And was told they couldn't do it!!?? Now I've been a diesel/ car tech for 23 years and never have I seen a shop of that caliber not have a press or capability to do a bearing.. and it was already off the vehicle. 15 min job tops. I'd be careful about this floks.

First off I will not be bringing my truck back hear for service ever again. My experience has not been good. It started out good I hade a lack of power problem it was determined to be a turbo . thay installed a new one it worked for one day . and I hade the same problem. I hade to drive back 200 mile with no power . I took the truck back to them not only did thay ont acknowledge that made a mistake thay where in on hurry to get it done. Then found a defective valve and changed me to fix it . end result is I paid 3000.00 dollars for a turbo I did not need . I don't recommend this shop...

Avoid this place! Seriously.... I told them I was going to decide if I was going to junk and sell a truck as is or repair it. They gave me a quote to fix it and I agreed... since that time the quote has doubled and I don't have a choice but to pay it! Will be seeking legal action to see if it can be resolved!
