Dropped off my new Volkswagen within the first week of ownership for 15% all round with a windshield brow. Come to pickup, and front triangle windows are not done, and have large bubbles in brow, multiple side windows, and contamination in every window. So I voice my complaints, and drop off the next week for him to fix.Go to pickup after the 2nd attempt, and his garage door is wide open with him tinting another vehicle all while a construction site next door is kicking up dirt, and debris. Not how a professional should ever be tinting a car. The red flags were definitely going off. I pickup my car, and couldn't see much with the quick look in his lot, because I had somewhere to be.Next morning I'm looking at the work done more closely, because I saw things not done right on my drive. I find instead of fixing his mistake he got cheap and tried forcing the dirt and contamination out the edges with a heat-gun.Oh... I almost forgot the windshield brow. It was a 1/4" difference in length between sides of the rearview. With a giant water bubble directly in the passengers line of sight. And, instead of removing it completely, and fixing it right. He trimmed the passenger side to match, left the driver side cut short, and forced out the water, and contamination. Leaving behind scratches inside.Later I see even more contamination throughout every single window of the vehicle. Then let's not forget the scratches everywhere inside from his attempt at a fix.He also attempted to tint the triangle windows 2nd go round, and failed. Open edges and contamination throughout both front triangles. I've luckily taken care of that through aftermarket options.Worst part of all this at the 1st pickup I gave him a $50 tip, because I really like to support the local guy. With tax I'm about $300 into this horrendous tint job. My regular guy has to now charge me to strip his work clean, and start over again at roughly $550 with a brow, and then you figure in tip, lost time, and aggravation I'll be about $1K in tinting my brand new vehicle, because of this guy. Not happy at all. Don't let this guy touch your windows. I own five Volkswagens at this time. Every single one is tinted, and this MK8 is the only one with a complete lack of quality, craftsmanship, and that I've ever dealt with this on. Let my mistake be your warning. Seriously STAY AWAY! I'll include pictures of his work once the sun is back out.11/19/2023Snapped a few pics of my complaints with my horrible phone camera. This contamination is on every single window of my vehicle. Just gets you madder when you're washing your brand new vehicle and see this on every window.

If you need to get your car windows tinted, I recommend going to Columbus Tint Design. The people there are very polite and the quality of their works are great! They re also quick to respond to your questions and/or any concerns you have.

Recently took my Escalade to get all the windows done. I stayed at the shop while they did this and was in and out in less than an hour even with the bigger SUV. They noticed what was an aftermarket antenna mounted to a rear window and tinted around it. Owner informed me that if I ended up removing the antenna that he would retint that window for free so it wouldn t have the open section. Very friendly staff. Very easy to schedule and communicate with. Will be taking it back to get the full windshield done soon as well.

I recently had just gotten my windshield tinted from a previous guy who had messed up my windshield tint with it being not cut properly, tears in the film, and overall not a great job. I went to these guys with my father because they were recommended to us. When we got there it was very fast and we were able to pick my car up within two hours. However when received the car we noticed a few bubbles in the film (which was to be expected), but we also notice scratches all over our windshield. My dad then asked the guy what these marks were about, he seemed timid and was saying they were there before which I drive my car every day and have never seen those marks before, he then claimed that the guy who did my tint before made them and they were on the outside of the glass which, I have still never seen before. I then looked at images on my phone and have pictures of my windshield before and what do you know, there were ZERO white scratches on my windshield. My dad and I went in to pay and when prompted the tip the guy quickly turned the screen away and said not necessary which I thought was sus because who doesn t want a tip? In general, the tint was phenomenal, however there were now scratches in my windshield that weren t there before, so we had to replace the whole windshield which sucks and we honestly hoped more responsibility was taken :(

James and the team are amazing! Columbus tint does an amazing job and are the friendliest. I would definitely recommend them , they are fast and they do an excellent job. Columbus tint tinted my windows, windshield and my headlights and footlights and I couldn t ask for a better job it looks amazing.

I had an appointment today at 11am that I missed due to personal reasons, I contacted Trish to apologize and to see if I was still able to bring it in. I ended up taking it in at 2pm (Thank you Trish and the team for still being able to squeeze me in!) I m super satisfied with how the job turned out. I had a 2007 Accord done, no issues. Brought it a 2013 Ram and it looked just a little off. Left a text on Sunday (They're closed). The owner responded, "If you're not busy, bring it in." I did and he re did the job while I waited. Where do you get customer service like that these days? These are hard working good people. They deserve your business!

Had three of my cars tinted here, and they did an awesome job! The staff is super friendly and helped me pick the right tint. The windows look amazing, and they did it really quick. Prices were fair too. If you need tinting, this is the place to go!

They did a good job on the tint if you overlook some little bubbles and glue that wasn't cleaned off. I think every window has some bubbles, but for the price I am not a big complainer. I've tried tinting myself and it's worth paying these guys to do it for me.I waited 6 hours to pick up my car (which is fine, but they estimated 2~4.5) They didn't respond to my texts until just before they closed and I live .5 hour away so I was already headed there. This guy is the real deal. I got my wife s car tinted and could not be happier. The pictures don t do it justice. It looks so clean! We got 20% all the way around and then 35% on the front windshield. I told James (head guy) to take his time because we have other cars we can drive while we waited. I thought it was going to take all day but he got it back to us in just a few hours. If you are still reading this, give James a call and set up an appointment. You wont be let down! Thanks James!

The people who work there are friendly but the quality of service is not up to snuff. I went to have my 2 front windows and my windshield tinted late last year. Everything seemed well at first, but I ended up having to go back three separate times to have imperfections corrected (so much hair/dust trapped under the film), and every time there was still an unreasonable amount of debris trapped. the film of my windshield was even creased (along with having insane amounts of dust) and when i went back and expressed my concerns, they would not replace the film and had me wait another week to let the film settle when it was clearly not due to that. then when i called multiple times over the next 2 weeks all were ignored. i ended up going to another tint shop which i was much happier with. i am very dissatisfied with my experience here, and if you want good work for your money i recommend that save yourself the time and effort and go somewhere else.

I took my 2014 Chevy Cruze in last week to get my windows tinted and they did an outstanding job. Pricing was more than reasonable. Everyone was very professional and made the entire experience very easy. I ll definitely have to refer my friends to go see these guys. I d rate them 10 stars if I could.

I am very pleased with the service that I received today for my Vehicle. I took it to them to get an all around tint done and they even called letting me know that I could come in earlier than my appointment time to get it done. From the second I arrived to the time I left I felt like my vehicle was in great hands and like it was going to be taken care of. The guys here were very up front and helped with their personal recommendations and never tried to push me into getting a product that I didn t want. I highly recommended them and their business to anyone looking for a tint job!Edited 3/22/24Since the first review we have brought several more vehicles to them including the 3 we just brought them last night on march 21st. Anytime we drop off, I know the cars are in good hands and an amazing tint job is going to be done. We got all 3 done last night and they again exceeded our expectations and were amazing!
