I brought my Van in for Transmission work. They let me know that my Transmission was bad and was told it needed replaced.They found me a nicely priced rebuilt one and installed it. They were very professional and I was impressed with how quickly they had it finished. A few months later my van needed a tune up and I brought it back in. They had it finished in about 2 hours, which for a 2010 Chrysler T&C 4.0 was super fast. Now my van runs better then it ever has. I Highly RECOMEND them. They do things right and their mechanics are spot on. I would also like to thank their Front desk crew. No pressure sales or un needed up-sells. They gave me a quote and stood by it. My first time using AAMCO was to have my daughter s van checked in September. The staff was polite, courteous, professional, and Honest. A couple weeks later my husbands car had a caution light come on. We were able to get an immediate appointment. Again the staff was fantastic. Today my granddaughters maintenance light was on, instead of taking it back to the dealer (who as rude ) but would have covered it under the warranty, we decided to take it to AAMCO. Their prices are reasonable, the turn around time is excellent, and you re greeted with a smile. Going forward we will only take our cars to AAMCO!! There are so many great things I could say about this place. Tom and his entire crew are good people.They put a transmission in my Mountaineer. They kept me updated on the progress and completed the job before the expected date.When I needed other things addressed on my truck, they got me right in and took good care of me.Customer service is amazing!And I'm pleased with the work on my truck, it's running well.I have not one complaint.

Quick and painless. Scheduled a time, dropped off a vehicle, got a call letting me know the diagnosis and suggested fix and when it would be available, asked if they could stay open a few minutes late so I could swing by today, picked it up and it was fixed.If only every business operated like this.

I brought my car in for a transmission flush because of sputtering while driving...they tested the car and checked the transmission oil and said everything was fine and that I did not need to do the flush. They did not charge me for this, and I appreciate their honesty.

Aamco is my go-to for auto work. I drive many miles a month and am in the shop every 6 weeks (or less) for and oil change. The guys here are great - no useless upselling. If they tell me I need an air filter, I am confident that I really need an air filter. They will check anything that concerns me (did that headlight bulb go in right?). I always feel that I get prompt, friendly, appropriate service from knowledgeable professionals.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Don t come here they would take weeks to fix your car and when you call to ask for information tommy the supposedly Owner would sit here and disrespect u . over the phone but from my personal experience i think he just racist so if you re black becareful

I called AAMCO in Reynoldsburg while test driving a 2000 Jeep Wrangler to ask how much it was to check the transmission and make sure the 4 wheel drive worked. I was told $39.99 and that an appointment was needed. When I explained that I was doing a test drive, Tommy told me to bring in on in. When I arrived, Russell took the car out for a test drive which ended up being a test drive AND putting the Jeep on the lift to pinpoint the cause of a noise between 35 and 45 MPH. Turned out that the transfer case needed to be replaced. Tommy told me I didn't owe them for the inspection since it was Russell's lunch hour, but I could tip Russell whatever I thought was appropriate. When he returned, I gave Russell $25 and he tried to refuse it! I insisted and was very impressed with their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile. Well done, guys!

This is super late but, I always go to AAMCO whenever I have car issues. I trust AAMCO and Tommie to always help me navigate and figure out what's going on with my car. They have excellent customer service. Prices are reasonable, services are done quickly. I will always recommend them!I have gone to them with a Dodge Journey, Town & Country, and a complete auto trans build in my Cruze. I want to thank AAMCO Reynoldsburg, Ohio for providing excellent customer service and took the time to get the job done and went above and beyond for me. I needed a water pump and timing belt replacement that was an emergency repair that another shop could not do. This caused me to miss over a week of work as the other shop couldn't do the repair. I had the schedule set for AAMCO, they got the parts and took the extra time to look over the whole car in case anything else was wrong. When the repairs were going to take into another day and I couldn't find a ride home, Tommy offered to bring me home. The next day I brought the team some homemade biscuits to say thanks for helping me!

Absolutely terrible. I asked for a quote for a replacement or rebuild.. I absolutely need my transmission REPLACED or REBUILT. They said they absolutely have to see it... Other shops will give you a price over the phone if you know what's wrong. Aamco absolutely WILL NOT. They have you get it towed in and then give you quotes that are double the other shops with the same warranty. In the end you are out your diagnostic fee which isn't much but the tow bill to and from aamco add up. Not to mention time.... Never trust a shop that refuses to give you a replacement or rebuild price on request. Absolutely absolutely never trust someone who says "trust me"Services: Transmission, Oil change

Service was friendly but I scheduled a 1pm appointment for oil change, pcv valve replacement, possible trans flush depending on a diagnostic test. At the end of the day they ask if it s alright to keep the car overnight because they couldn t get an oil change done in the 4 hours they had it at the appointed time smh. I say that cause I got no diagnostic, told me they didn t know if I needed a pcv so they didn t do it. I depend on my car for my income and they had it almost 24 hours for a 30 minute oil change.Service: Oil change

Went to AAMCO because I was having trouble with my transmission. They did a diagnostic test to spell out the cost to repair or replace the transmission as well as replacing my worn rear brakes. They re a very courteous professional group and answered all my questions.

Absolutely amazing service! I had my 370z in for a torque converter replacement and they did a fantastic job for an incredible price with probably the fastest turn over time to get it done I've seen!! The customer service is also amazing! Very friendly and informative!

AAMCO on 6450 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 for a year has skirted around honoring the warranty for my transmission repair that I had completed last year. I communicated several times that my transmission was under performing and every time I sent it in they wouldn't perform any diagnostic work that found anything. I had to go to a Nissan dealership to have someone confirm that my transmission was under performing and should be replaced. I am completely dissatisfied with the service completed by this AAMCO and have been consulted to go to claims court. Went to another AAMCO facility that was completely confused as to why my warranty wasn't being honored. At this point, I would never tell anyone to get work done at this AAMCO.Service: Transmission

Ron was really helpful in explaining the process they perform to diagnose my transmission issue. Two people test drove my car, then the mechanic pulled the transmission pan, and they did not find a problem. This gave me piece of mind the car was safe to drive. Ron said if the issue comes up again, stop back and they will look at the car again (it still falls under same invoice). Great customer service.

So far so good. At this point I have had my motor mounts replaced here for over $1000 less than quoted by Evan's on Morse road. I have also had my oil changed with Mobil 1 for less money than charged at Evans. Overall everyone has been very nice at this location. I will return.

They did a great job! My transmission was gone. They completed it on time. The only hiccup was with an ABS sensor which they replaced for free during the checkup. They even checked a brake issue for me while it was in. No charge. Great service and very good communications. They kept me informed of everything.

I got a lifetime warranty repair on my transmission and as a result I have to take my car in annually to be inspected to ensure everything is fine. On 2 occasions before my annual I had issues and took my car in and it was fixed for free due to the warranty. I was even given time to pay on my car before getting it back at the initial time of repair and that saved me a lot of stress. 7 yes and still counting great affordable up front service with some of the most friendliest people you could ever meet!!! Thank you aamco especially the location I always go to on 6450 East Main Street Reynoldsburg Ohio!!!

UPDATE TO BELOW ISSUE... You will see the owner responded to this review asking me to contact them.. I have done so twice to no response.. I believe them responding here to just be a PR move to seem to you the reader, that they want to resolve the issue listed below and clearly it's just lip service. Anyways, they have my number from when I came in for "service", why not just call me? Well because they don't care. Please read the below experience and I strongly advise you to see other shops.BEWARE! Do not leave anything in your vehicle ad they will read whatever they like. I had paperwork in my car and they read it, then I found out when the "manager" Tommy called me and disclosed what was on the document. It was a document related to my car but was NOT from aamco and was not left out for them to read. Then he lied and said he just looked at it to get my vin, which as it is on all cars, is located in my windshield and inside the drivers door. He then lied again and said all he read was the vin, then he exposed himself again by accidently saying what was on the paper and not realizing I was paying attention. When I spoke to the owner she said verbatim "You shouldnt have anything in your car you dont want anyone to read, and you can find out everything about you on the internet anyways, so really nothings private"Um excuse me!?!I would never spend a dollar with these folks, and for the sake of your privacy, i would recommend you avoid them as well.Not to mention it took them a week and a half to diagnose my car and they never called me to tell what was wrong. I was truly impressed with the service and it wasn't expensive. Mr. Ron was very friendly and even though they couldn't find anything wrong with my car the mechanic fixed another problem for me at no charge. I highly recommend this location for any of your vehicle needs.
