I had a front end accident at the end of 2022. I took my car to lintz and it was there for 2-3 months and I was not updated at all until it was finished. I got the car back and It had multiple issues. the bumper was after market and it didn t fit, it also had a large crack. One head light wasn t fully sealed and was getting moisture in it and it was scratched up from being installed. There was over spray and multiple spots of running paint. The paint started flaking off of the edges of the front bumper. I called back asking about getting the panel gaps adjusted but they said they couldn t since the new parts were aftermarket. After all that I had taken it to a new body shop and they informed me that my crash bar was loose as well as several loose/ missing bolts and brackets. I ended up paying an extra 2400$ out of pocket to have the other body shop fix everything that was repaired improperly.

i ll start with my car went in the first week of january, i didn t get it back till the last week of march.at first they said a month for parts and labor (assuming they actually looked it over).i get my car back the first time and i have no power steering, they got the insurance to cover the rack(first good thing).about a month later i finally get my car back, it makes noise when turning and screams on left turns. fitment was horrible for bumper and fender. my headlights point downward now(basic knowledge and care to readjust after replacing the bumper.overall wouldn t recommend to anyone. very unhappy with the work i ve gotten done.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim, Brakes

I took my 40 year old Mustang to them to get a badly faded 38 year old repair repainted. His estimate was the lowest. I added some items, we agreed on a price. Got the car back today and it was much better than expected!

Took my 04 Silverado Dually after a deer ran into the driver door and bed with a lot of damage dropped it off 11/14/22 said it would take 1 to 1 1/2 weeks picked it up 12/29/22 pointed out flaws I could see along the flaring of the bed in front of the rear wheel owner replied if he knew I wanted it perfect with as much damaged there wad he wouldn't have done the work .Now having an issue with the body work and paint cracking took it in today the son looked at it said it was a defect on their part drop it off t 10/23/23 they would warranty the work soon as the owner got back and saw me he had to look at it then it was noisy they are to busy then droop it off 11/7/23 so maybe it's best for me to take else where to someone that can do it right the 1st time

Wanted to get an estimate on some collision damage but I was informed the estimate was $15 and the man was very short and seemed irritated. Won t go back there again, thought I would give my business to a local shop but instead went into Kent and got two free estimates. Will do business with them instead of the grumpy old guy at Lintz.Followup: took my auto to Klaben Ford Collision service in Kent and was very satisfied. Free estimate and they did a super job and even detailed the inside of my car!

Dan the owner of Lintz Collision is fantastic and been in business f r 35+ yrs. Recently I took my Chevy Equinox to him for repair after I was rear ended. The interaction from start to finish was excellent. It is illegal in the state of Ohio for an insurance company to force you to go to a certain body shop.TY Dan for that info. the rear of my car now looks brand spanking new and he also replaced all the supports that were damaged underneath. He also did a free interior detailing!!!! And gave me a jar of touchup paint for some scratches I have. I didn't ask for either BUT AM THRILLED HE DID THIS FOR ME!! I needed both.I recommended Lintz Collision for your body repair work. They also do mechanical work in the other building. Ty sir for the awesome job done!!! And the extras!!

Did a good job. Forgot my mud flaps. Talked down to my wife like she doesn't know anything. Told her no need to bring it in for estimate. Then made her feel like she was in the wrong for not bringing it in for the estimate. Will not be bringing it here anymore.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I needed a lot of body work done after my car came in contact with a deer. Someone I work with recommended Lintz and I am glad they did. My car looks great inside (they detailed the inside of my car for free) and out! Service was prompt. My call was taken on a Sunday, I dropped my car off on Monday and I had it back within two weeks. Dan was a pleasure to work with as well - very friendly and helpful. I felt as though he went above and beyond to restore my car to its original state. Lintz just gained a returning customer and I will recommend them to everyone! Thank you!

Brought a 93 mustang in for paint work. The paint they used didn't match (was a shade off) possibly due to age of vehicle. Didn't do brush touch ups on minor nicks even though i was charged. This was partially address in the parking lot while i waited. Was given a bottle of touch up paint to finish as i seen fit. Used excess clear coat that literally had two dried drips hanging on edges and had to be cut off with a razor. Didn't do a repair near the hatch and instead repaired another area on the quarter panel that i didn't ask for. Dan did admit fault but said they are to busy to correct it and would have to bring back another time. He justified the wrong repair equaled the cost (if not more) as if they repaired the correct area on the hatch. Found new scratches near where they had done repair work that I'm 99.9% sure weren't there prior (my word against theirs). Was told the vehicle needed more time to be "cleaned and detailed" prior to pickup. The vehicle wasn't detailed which isn't major since i keep it clean but it's the principle. The work that was/wasn't done got blamed on "hard to find good help" which i don't believe should be my problem. Overall i was disappointed with the final result and won't bring my car back for anything further.

Took my truck there to have a little work done to the front bumper and upper valance and they did a fantastic job!! the color match and bumper replacement were spot on .Detailed the interior and the truck looks so good i am thinking about keeping it. Price was fair for the work they did. I would defiantly recommend these guys to anyone.

Not my first time there, but they repaired part of my front bumper on a 2013 Subaru Legacy. It was in a critical area since it came to a point and had angles that had to match the other side. Did the job in under 3 days and the car looks better than when it was new. They even detailed the car which had not been done in 8 months. Their workers obviously take pride in their job and I highly recommend them for any body work. This is probably the third car they repaired for me and all were done perfect.

Had to have some dents taken care of and areas repainted on the hatch of my car. The shop said it would take three days; it took 1.5 days to complete the auto body work. The repair was beautiful - just beautiful. Also, the shop detailed the inside and washed the outside. I could have spent 10 hours on cleaning the car and it wouldn't have looked so nice. Really impressed.

I hit a deer on my way to work. I'm driving a 21 year old Grand Marquis that has low mileage and is in great condition. Mr. Lintz stated it would be fixed as good as new and it was! They detailed it inside (it was shamefully dirty) and outside, right down to the wheel covers. I will recommend their fine workmanship to all that ask. Service: Painting

Lintz was absolutely wonderful! We thought we had a bad belt on the car, and it turned out it was the brake. They were very patient while I made sure I had enough to cover the higher cost and the repair was done quickly. The receptionist was a total sweetheart too, and she was very accommodating with bringing me paperwork since I'm on crutches.

I've used Lintz collision for 4 different vehicles. No, I'm not a stunt driver, just cursed that when I get a new vehicle, someone is compelled to run into it! Each visit the owner has been courteous and professional. The work done has been excellent!As an added bonus, they detail the interior too, so after going the experience of getting your vehicle smashed, when you get it back and find the interior detailed and a perfect repair, it make a bad situation a little better.

The front bumper to my brand new truck was scratched recently. It wasn't a large scratch, but I was afraid of what my dealership would charge to repair it. Thankfully, I decided to first stop by Lintz Collision to get their opinion. The man at the front desk (I apologize for not remembering his name) was extremely kind and understanding. After looking at the scratch, he used a solution to buff out the damage, free of charge! The scratch is completely gone now. I am so appreciative of Lintz Collision and their staff for taking the time and resources to help me during a stressful time. They truly made my week! In the future I will refer anyone in need to Lintz Collision because I am confident that they will be fair and honest. Thank you!

A lot of issues with brakes after bringing car in for problem with brakes. They also forgot to tighten a bracket that was horribly shaking. (They did however tighten it for free, but not before implying it was probably my fault.) The people who answer the phones don't communicate with the mechanics. I used to go here all the time around 10 years ago. It's been pretty rough lately, though.Update: brought car to a different mechanic and he confirmed that they cut into my brake line, causing a leak that had to be repaired. DO NOT GO HERE.

I was told the spots on the front of the car and back of the car would be taken care of and they were not touched.. There is also a scratch on the left side of the car that I don't recall being there before. Disappointed after hearing such awesome things about the place...

Fixed my daughter's Highlander. Looks great! Mr. Lintz handled the insurance company for us. We would definitely use them in the future!
