Reasonable/low prices, excellent service and knowledge, and a friendly, charming owner. Repairs & oil changes are done quickly. Lobby is very clean and interesting; kind of like a 50s style diner with cool things to look at. As a woman, it's important to trust your mechanic, and I've found my forever mechanic! I've got my son taking his car to A1 too. I highly recommend this shop to all.

Great, honest mechanic. I had an issue with an intermittent problem with my truck going into limp mode. Brought to Lewis as he was already doing my oil changes based on his reputation. He diagnosed it and drove it for 3 days and it never did it again and was not throwing a code. I have no doubt he did his due diligence diagnosing but with no code and truck not acting up he couldn't be sure what the problem was and didn't charge me a dime for the time he had in. He's a nice guy, great mechanic with tons of experience. Another thing I like is he doesn't overbook. When I go in for an oil change I'm always in and out quickly. Highly recommend for a great, honest mechanic, which don't exactly grow on trees!

A1 auto is highly recommended, I called in the day prior and was set up with an appointment relatively quickly. After taking my vehicle in he quickly diagnosed and came up with a plan for repairs and called with the quote. Parts were ordered and car was fixed same day, he had even stayed past closing time to finish my vehicle and get it back to me after hours. Could not ask for a better local mechanic!Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance

Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, trusted this man to sell me a nice car, turns out the frame was completely gone in a section where the brake lines held it together, shame on this guy, did an oil change on my friends car and her oil filter fell off, do it right or shut it down, stop putting people at risk.

I live in Canton but work in Ravenna and unfortunately my car broke down while I was here at work right before the weekend. I was frantic that I was going to be stuck for lack of a better word in Ravenna until I could get my car fixed. Well I was referred by a coworker to A1 Auto Clinic, and I was told about Luis, I was told that he was honest, kind, and did great work. Well let me tell you, he definitely lives up to his reputation. I had my car towed to the shop after speaking to Luis, and he was so patient with me because I know I can be nerve wrecking sometimes when I'm anxious, and he got me back up and on the road in less than 24 hours. Not to mention the icing on the cake was his prices blew my mind, he was unexpectedly more affordable than I ever imagined. Luis was such a blessing to me especially with the holidays coming up because he cares about people and their financial situations. I am ecstatic that I found a trusted and affordable mechanic near my job and as a female, we are normally skeptical if we are going to be taken advantage of and he makes you feel at ease from the first moment you speak to him. This place is highly recommended for anyone who want fast friendly service at a very reasonable price. My first time going to this place. He had good reviews, so I made my appointment. I definitely found my forever mechanic for as long as I own my vehicle. I had a coupon that I was going to use (I forgot to mention it to the mechanic) and he gave gave me the special price for an oil change. Now that's what I call an honest and great business man. A-1 Auto Clinic has always giving me excellent service. Things are ready when they say they will be and everything is explained so the Layman can understand. They have the cheapest prices on labor per hour, and rock bottom prices for oil changes! They have a clean waiting area along with a place for kids to play and coffee if you want it. Luis the owner is always very helpful and he makes you feel like you dealing with someone that genuinely wants to help or make a difference and doesn't try to sell you things you don't need to make a dollar off you... I highly recommend A-1 Auto Clinic LLC. everyone that comes as a client keeps coming back, and they're rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau. Their number 1 to me!

Luis has been our mechanic for many, many years and frankly, I would never trust our vehicles to anyone else. We have taken all makes/models to him for service and he has always been able to diagnose and fix the problem. It is a minimal wait time to get in for appt., and he usually only has car 1-2 days to work on it. Pricing is extremely fair and reasonable, far less than you would pay at a dealer. We had an incident last year where we were trying to find a new engine and he went over and above and spent HOURS calling all over the country to try to find the correct one. He is always pleasant and personable on the phone, and is a very hard worker who truly cares about doing the right thing for his customers. We have gone to Luis countless times since we moved to Ravenna and have NEVER had a bad experience.

This was my first experience with A-1 auto and I m thrilled! My Toyota Camry was smoking/leaking and they took it in, kept us updated and got it back to us under budget! It s a small shop so there could be a little bit of a longer wait, but the quality of service more than makes up for that. A mechanic you can trust! Thank you!

Excellent work and fair pricing. Doesn't take advantage of people. Fixed only what was actually needed and saved me quite a bit of money. No pressure tactics to try to sell other services but told me what he saw that was going to be a problem down the road. Highly recommend a1 auto clinic. Thanks Luis!

My windshield wiper linkage broke and while all the other places were up-charging me to replace the whole assembly, they let me replace just the linkage with a used part from the auto junk yard. I really appreciated that service, it was an easy fix and they were the only one trying to help me save money with a used parts. Works great now!

Had a really positive experience at A1 auto, this was the first time I have sent my car there to be repaired. The service was done in a very timely manner and the price was very affordable. The cost was much less than the dealership. Would recommend!

Fair pricing. Oil change special was reason I first went here ($20 for a oil change, I can't do it cheaper myself) and since then I will take my vehicle there for anything I am unable to do in my own garage. Louis is a reasonable and honest man.

Our experiences here have been very positive. Our vehicles have been repaired right and on time. Never have they found "extra problems", nor have we at a later time. They have the best hourly labor rate we have found. They have given us the best vehicle repair service we have ever had.

we drive back to Wisconsin and got a coolant leaking. people told us we can go to A1 auto clinic and the owner is a nice and honest person, which is true. Owner help us get the part and put it on in a very timely manner so that we can keep on our trip.

Another fine repair by A1 Auto Clinic. Lewis did a great job on my front end. He charged exactly what he quoted, used name brand parts and picked me up and dropped me off during the repair. I would highly recommend A1 Auto clinic in Ravenna Ohio. Thanks again Lewis.

very over priced!!! Luis orders used parts or very cheap parts. I suggest if you are dumb enough to go here, you make him give you a receipt and order form of where he ordered his parts that go on your car. I just noticed a part I paid to have put on my car by him, actually wasn't changed out at all, but I was charged for it. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! STAY AWAY!!!

While I have taken my car and my wife's car here a hand full of times, I used to recommend this place to everyone. NOT ANYMORE!!! just over a year later, after spending 400 dollars for new front brakes and calipers and rotors, my driver side caliper is sticking again. I've already had to go back 2 months ago to get my passenger side caliper fixed. Along with the very first time I came here was to get a new motor in my window, and I left with my airbag light on. That took 3 weeks before I could get back in to get it wiped out. In February, my wife spent 1,500 dollars at this shop for work on her Equinox, only to have her radio never to work again. Do not go here. I tried to stay positive and only go here, but it's not worth it. Brand new calipers and rotors and brakes should last for more that 14 months. especially when they charge you 400 dollars. PLEASE GO SOMEHWERE ELSE. Looks like I'm the 2nd person on here who left with an airbag light on.

I can't say enough about the owner. I traveled to Ravenna Ohio from Florida and my van died. He fixed it quickly and the price was fantastic! I recommend him without hesitation!!! Thanks :)
