We have utilized this repair facility for our business fleet for the last several years. Although there are many choices when it comes to auto repair services, I have entrusted the complete staff at Wayne's Auto Repair located in Powell, OH 43065. They are always fair and reasonable with their prices. They also go the extra mile between communication and resolving repairs within a minimal amount of time. If you are looking for a trustworthy repair center, you can count on and won't be taken to the cleaners or deceived. Look no further.

Explained everything to me clearly and very knowledgeable. I ve been to other mechanics where it has been like pulling teeth to get information about the problem or they spent the entire time trying to sell me things. NOT these guys! In fact the person I spoke to first suggested that I contact the other shop to see if there was still a standing warranty on the repairs so I d be able to save money. They gave great advice on how to better care for my vehicle, all in all an amazing experience and I will be back!

Amazing service from the time you call them over the phone through getting your service done. I normally don't write reviews so this is an exception. They look at it from the customer's point of view and hence a step above the best. My 9 yr old CLS 550 now drives like new!! Wow, wow, WOW! 10/10 for Wayne s! These guys are miracle workers! My car was in need of serious repair. Largely due to their Service Manager, Sean, who had to deal with the madness of my 3rd party warranty company, to top notch, expedited, affordable service, and outstanding craftsmanship, I would be extremely hesitant to have my vehicles serviced anywhere else (in fact, I wouldn t)! From ownership and senior leadership, who were heavily involved in my taxing situation, to their INCREDIBLE staff (Louie and Angel), led by Sean The Magnificent , it would be foolish give a second thought to even consider another auto repair shop. I found their quality of service to be second to none and they treated me, my family, and my vehicle as if it/we were their own. Wayne s is a hidden gem and I couldn t be more grateful knowing that in our new world of lackluster work, Old School mentality, service, and individual care still exists. You will find it at Wayne s and be as thrilled as I am!Kindest regards and gratitude to Sean, his staff and ownership for having to deal with the likes of me (I can be an ***!), I cannot thank all of you enough! My car needed wheel alignment, oil change and new rear brakes. This was not the first time I have taken my car and they know the history of my car. Their personalized service is great in addition to the great knowledgeable makes this place my number one. For me, customer service is priority and they know how to deliver value to their customers. Sean took care of analyzing and estimating the repairs needed. I m very happy I took my car there for a secondopinion because they found an issue that the dealer didn t; even after charging me $99 for a multipoint check! They saved me 30-40% over dealer estimate because I m sure I would ve ended up back there if I had done what they recommended! They delivered as promised and I highly recommend them.Service: Auto maintenance

This was the first time using Wayne s Auto Repair. I had purchased a used vehicle through a private sale and brought it to Wayne s for an overall inspection as well as new tires. They did a very thorough job and did not at all take advantage of the situation by recommending items that weren t really needed. Very honest and ethical people, in my opinion. We were visiting my daughter for Thanksgiving and our Check Engine light came on. Called Wayne s to do a diagnostic and they got me right in. After diagnosing a faulty thermostat, they scheduled us for a repair right after the holiday. They fixed the problem at a very fair price and we were able to head back to Florida on schedule. They were very fair, very accommodating, and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!Service: Engine repair

I took my car here to Jason for a second opinion on some vehicle cost quoted me by another repair shop. First, Jason was really busy gave me a quote 250 less than other guy and told me the other services the other guy wanted to offer for $3000 was not needed. He even fixed a couple of other minor things at no charge without telling me but I knew he did. If you need an honest place to go and work done right at a great market price go here. The only negative is you will have to drop your vehicle off and wait a few hours or a day because they are so busy but that s just a minor inconvenience for having a job done right at a good cost.Services: Brakes, Auto maintenance

Wayne s had an opportunity to charge me hundreds of dollars for a repair that I had agreed to, and which it turns out my car didn t require. They fixed my issue and the final bill was much smaller than originally assumed. We are longtime "clients" of Wayne's Auto Repair-Powell. Jason and his team are professional, knowledgeable and always helpful. We are a multiple driver/car owner household and all of our cars are/have been serviced by Jason's team. Last night I picked up my car after hours. It started and drove so smoothly. I called to inquire about a simple brake job and they wouldn't even give me a quote to do it. He said an estimate would be around 5-6 hundred dollars. The parts alone when I looked them up on Napa cost around 5hundred dollars so I asked him how he could do it for 5 to 600 hundred. He said well you have to bring it in to inspect it to get an estimate. My dealership can give me a quote over the phone how much brakes are going to cost, so I don't understand how they can't give me an accurate estimate. This to me sounds like shady business practices. I know they have good reviews. But to me something sounds off here. The only reason I am considering taking my car to someone is because you need a scan tool to do the rear brakes. Otherwise I would do it myself. The scan tool costs around 150 dollars. Plus you would need another special tool to take off the brake caliper bracket. The only reason I considered them was because they were less than half a mile from my house. Well not anymore.

Great experience from first call to end result! I had rodent damage to wiring that was pretty extensive and many other issues as well. Jason was great and he took care of my vehicle and had it back to me in two days! They are honest and very helpful. I thought I had major problem with my work truck and it was just a simple computer reset. Highly recommend.. pricing was very reasonable too. They are fairly hidden Google tried to direct me through a gated community

Nobody enjoys when their car breaks down. It's inconvenient and expensive. I had already spoken to a dealership about a repair on my vehicle and had a ballpark number when a friend suggested that I call up Wayne's. I spoke to Jason on the phone, and he was incredibly personable and friendly. He didn't give me an exact number, or much of a ballpark figure, but had advised that the repairs at Wayne's typically run 15-20% cheaper than they do at the dealership. After seeing all the positive reviews on the internet, I decided to give them a shot. They had my car on a tow-truck 2 hours after I hung up the phone.The next morning the staff had called me with a few questions to better address the situation, and although they told me that I would have an exact estimate that afternoon, but they actually got it to me by lunch. Jason hit the nail on the head with the ballpark figure; the repair was 20% cheaper than what I would have paid at the dealership (the estimate had already included tax), and on top of that I didn't have to worry about buying a tow.24 hours later I got a text message saying my repair was finished. I picked it up and the car has been running flawlessly since. I would highly recommend Wayne's to anyone, especially those who are hesitant to use smaller local shops. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. They will have my business in the future.

Waynes has done a lot of work on my vehicles over the years and they are professional and pay close attention to detail. Their prices are always more than fair and the manager at the front desk has to be one of the most knowledgeable mechanic/manager of any business in the surrounding area! These guys are awesome. I had been taking my car to another shop and after three trips, I felt like they were breaking things and not fixing. I took my car to Wayne s today and my concern was validated. Jason figured out the issue in minutes, fixed it, found another leak that the other company missed, worked with my warranty company, and had the car back to me same day. He also sent me pictures of the issues so I knew exactly what was wrong. These guys are professional, affordable, and quick. Highly recommend them!

Wayne s Auto Repair does good work. They are fair priced and their estimators system is great. The send the diagnostic review via text for you to look prior to the estimate. Wayne s takes the time to discuss your repair prior to starting the work. I highly recommend their service.

I have a 1986 Pontiac Fiero that I normally perform all repairs on myself but when it needed a new clutch, I knew that job would be too much for me. Being someone who doesn't usually go to a mechanic, I was skeptical of someone else working on the car, but Wayne's did a fantastic job with the clutch replacement and helped me diagnose a transmission problem after the repair as well. They took great care and dedication to make sure the car was done right the first time. Jason also did a great job in communicating with me throughout the repair process and they got the job done quickly as well. I would highly recommend them!

After reading a bunch of reviews about different auto repair shops in Powell I decided to schedule an appointment with Wayne s Auto. I took the car in for some brake work on a used car we had purchased a few months back. Wayne s gave me a call to let me know my brakes and rotors were fine and that they didn t hear any of the grinding or squeaks I have heard. I appreciate the truth and their confirmation that my brakes and rotors still had plenty of life left. Even though they didn t fix anything they have earned my future business.

I was referred to Wayne's Auto Repair in Powell by a friend. On the weekend of a family member's out-of-town wedding, my vehicle needed immediate- yet last minute- service in order to ensure it's safety for the travel. Even as a new customer, Wayne's Auto Repair quickly went out of their way to service my vehicle on the same day. I was already impressed by this accommodation- but Wayne's continued to impress with a clean and comforting location, friendly and welcoming staff, and quick and quality service. My family and I have serviced our family's cars at Wayne's twice since... Wayne's is our new, and only, auto repair shop. Thank you for the excellence!

I learned about Wayne's from a mail flyer with a coupon for $99 AC recharge so I dropped my 2008 Honda Odyssey off. When they were completed they called and sent a text. During our phone discussion, Jason (the owner) shared that I needed new tires and provided me a quote. He followed up on our discussion by sending the detailed quote of different tires: makes/models with pricing. I was very satisfied with the AC recharge, but opted out of tires to do some price comparisons.After calling other shops and tire stores I called Jason and let him know the best offer I received. He did what he could to meet the lowest offer. It was a little higher but completely worth it.A) This is an independent local mechanic shop in Powell (support small business!)B) Owner is honest and niceC) Owner drove me home so I didn't have to spend a few hours on their couchD) The shop has a cool vibe, so even if you have to hang out and read a book it's good.I definitely recommend Wayne's and will return here for future needs!

The customer service is always awesome, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I love the inspection with pictures, videos, commentary and estimates. The entire process is easy and transparent which is what other shops lack. I found Waynes thru USAA's referral service and im so happy I did.

I have been using Wayne's for over 4 years and the Service is second to none. I have multiple vehicles from vintage to brand new and I take all of them to Wayne's to be serviced. I also have a fleet vehicle that I unfortunately have to take to a dealership for service.You cant get the personal service at a dealership you get here and certainly not the savings. It's nice to know I can drop off my vehicle and get honest feedback on what needs done now and what can be done in the future. Jason and the rest of the team provide the best automotive service in my opinion out there!Dave Durtschi

Honest, Great Customer Service, and prompt. I don't trust auto shops, everyone has a horror story to tell. I've taken my car four times to Wayne's Auto Repair shop. They have been straight with me every time. I know because I make sure to get second opinions, and validate the repairs. My VW Jetta 2007 is still running, and I have no complaints. The owner frequents the shop often, which to me is good. It shows that he values his shop, and his customers. Bottom line do your due diligence when selecting an Auto Repair shop. All I can tell you is my experience with them has been good.

Prior to taking my car to Wayne's I had initially brought it to Midas in Powell because it sounded as if there was an issue with one of my belts. They told me it was my alternator locking up and doing damage to my belt, that both would need replaced and would cost 687 dollars. This didn't feel right to me as I had no issues with starting the car or any electrical issues. So out of recommendation from someone I took the car to Wayne's not telling them Midas's "diagnosis" of my car. They told us it was the belt I thought it was and it was 181 dollar fix. Much cheaper than the almost 700 dollars. While there I also asked them to check the brakes because I bought the car at 35,000 miles on it and now at 77,000 I assumed the brakes had never been changed so they could have easily sold me a brake job. Instead they informed me the brakes still had half their life on them. After the repair the belt sound is gone and the car is running smoother than ever. I will return in the future, as they are both honest and fair.

They did great work on my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. A little pricey but it pays to go to professionals. They showed me everything that was wrong with my car and fixed it. They didn t try to do any additional unnecessary work to make more money. Great people
