Better off going to a junk yard to piece together something yourself! My wife missed a couple payments from last year and they never followed up or said anything about it being behind (If it s not electronic nowadays you forget sometimes not bad intentions not meaning not to pay and not hiding from repo clearly) then going into the new year she took payment down for the month and still never said nothing then a couple weeks later they came took the car. Payments was around 179 she gave them 200 most the time monthly. Paid almost $6,300 on the car owed around 3500 remaining. Tossed down 3000 for down payment and tax time coming up so this is what they do.. Not man enough to to even say anything to a female or even remotely no consideration. They could have easily said this Is what you owed and it would have been taken care of that day.. Instead they want 2 months back 2 months ahead and 190$ tow bill.. Wouldn t recommend this place to anyone! I don t care what situations you re in DO NOT GO HERE. I heard someone in the background say, don t work with her make her pay it off man Ol man Glad we are out from that BS. Long story short already in a brand new car with no worries of this everrrrr again.. Paid in full.

Been waiting a long time for an opportunity to leave a review. Bought my 1st car from a car lot from them. On my way home the serpentine belt broke and damaged the water pump. Being a young kid I didn't know what to do so I drove the mile and a half to my parents. Head gasket was blown and immediately asked them for help. They never helped just kept wanting payments on a car I couldn't drive. I have been managing in the auto industry for 10 year's and am amazed at how crooked this pos is and that anyone would buy a car from him. Just said

they lie and dont fix anything or try to even work with you to resolve problems. i owed 388 and thats it truck had issue and they said they give me parts to fix it but never did so i didn't pay the 388 so he sent repo guys they said give us 388 or we'll take it any ways i went in the house collecting up the cash these guy drag off my truck with tires lock up do to it was in park plus one tire was flat. yeah i could paid the 388 and avoided the repo and damge they cause to tires but they should up hold there promises to fix the vehicle

Totally Shocked over what I experienced at this car lot I drove 120 miles round trip because on the website they had a 2005 Trailblazer for 1500 down 200 a month listed with 122k the pictures looked awesome! Once arriving at the lot the Trailblazer that was listed on the website was a sham as the one on the lot had the front bumper cracked the door hinge and frame was bent, both front tires was flat, the battery was dead. I stood patient as they aired up the tires and jumped started the battery, I don't know why after seeing it's condition. After driving it the steering was found to be so bad I thought I was going to crash it was like driving a 77 ford F150 with a bad steering column I was all over the highway.As such I drove the vehicle less than a mile and I did not even kick it down out of fear of the steering wrecking me. As I was driving I discovered it had 148k not 122k as listed on the website, finally as if this was not enough right before I pulled back on the lot the oil pressure dropped to zero and the thing starting knocking. Am I upset for wasting my gas yes but not as upset as I would have been if I would have purchased a vehicle there. Message to the Owner this is no way to run a Business! Just terrible-Run From This Place People!

We bought a car for $10,500 and after a week of driving it around we started experiencing transmission problems. After further investigation we found out the sway bar is broke in half, what little bit of transmission fluid was in it was dark as coal, and the transmission lines was bent in half something aj s workers would have seen when they fixed the car and decided not to fix it and not to tell us about it before we bought it. There was no way of us knowing any of that was wrong just from test driving it. There s no way AJ s auto didn t know those things were wrong with the car. Do not buy anything from Aj s auto in west Portsmouth Ohio they are nothing but crooks they don t care about there customers safety they will sell you an unsafe and unreliable vehicle and not lose any sleep over it. The car did not say as is anywhere on the vehicle or on the paperwork so hopefully we can make Aj make it right. The people giving good reviews and 5 stars is either related to Aj or friends with him. Their reviews are fake.

Bought 2 cars from there. Both was awesome cars. Still have one after 7 yrs its looks bad now but its still running with 220,000 miles. Thanks A.J's

Warning! Your vehicle will run great until you get it off the lot. Waste of Money. Go anywhere else but here.

They lie and hold your payments when you send them in so it gets behind or tell you there was no payment when you have proof in the bank don't trust them would not recommend anyone to buy a car there

DO NOT BUY they lie about the vehicles and do not tell you what is wrong they will rig parts to work for a little while then go out completely so you have to fix it yourself even if the parts are 100's of dollars they say we'll bring the receipt we can take some off the final price but not your payment or the length of the term
