I had previously had great experiences with Midas, and this store in particular. Not today. I needed tires for my wife's car, and although they were a few hundred dollars higher than other places, due to the history of great work, I decided to go here. I was told they had the tires in stock, and it would be a few hours. Fast forward about 4 hours later, and I called to check on it. They advised they were waiting on the tires to get there (it was about 5:15pm) and said it could be done in the morning. Since my wife needed her car first thing in the morning, we stopped by to just pick it up. When I walked in, the tech was talking with the front counter guy (NOT the manager I had had good dealings with in the past) about putting on the tires. I said disregard, I will just take the car, and reiterated what I'd been told & the time. He seemed nonchalant about it. Not a good look, customer service wise, Midas.

This crew is amazing! Jay and Steve have been there a long time and know their customers well. I cannot say enough about how much they honor their work and ensure customer satisfaction. They rely on customer word-of-mouth to showcase their talents and do what is necessary to warrant rave reviews. Their staff, crew, work, and service are all 5 star in my book. My husband and I are loyal customers and will continue to be! Don't pass them up - they are truly a gem for the Midas brand!

People need to understand that the auto repair game, is just like the car sale game, and neither one of them are to be trusted. It's almost as if each entity is preying on the lack of knowledge of the customer.Shop advisers earn a monthly and yearly commision, and it is their goal to squeeze the customer of every penny, to increase their bonus.They've tried to sell me multiple services that weren't needed, to include telling me I needed new brake pads with 50% of the pad remaining.Not only does this location have some of the highest prices in the area, but if one does not agree with what they are selling, they become irate and rude.Jay needs a serious attitude adjustment, to include getting around some men of character and integrity, to teach him that lying isn't something that should be normalized.

I just got my car back from the shop today for routine oil change. As always they communicate very honestly about the vehicle condition and things that may need attention in the future. I trust them on all my cars and have always referred family and friends to them because of their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. Steve and Jay a pleasure to do business with.

If your time is valuable to you, I would choose a different location. I had an appointment at 11:00 and at 11:30 they had not even pulled my vehicle into the bay. There was no estimate of when that would happen. All I was told was they were running a little behind today. It would ve been nice to know that before I arrived.

Only thing I go here for is oil changes. $20 or less for a standard oil change for my standard vehicle. I always make an appointment and it always takes at least an hour for the service to be completed. Friendly staffUPDATE!I have a different car now that I just took to get an oil change today. They charge $54.99 plus tax, for a full- synthetic oil change.. BEST PRICE IN TOWN! However, I had so many oil changes done at Midas on my last car, that they didn t charge me anything today! If you don t already know, Midas has a Lucky 7 Oil Change Club. Your seventh oil change is always free! They stamp your paper each oil change (I keep mine in my glove box), really simple. And another thing, every single time that I m at this location, the guys that work here are always informative, well-groomed (haha), kind, funny and professional. I don t ever feel like they re out to get my money. This place truly is a gem, because of the managers and staff. I had the pleasure of communicating with Travis and J today about my cars oil change and diagnostic findings. It was a very busy afternoon for them today and they handled it flawlessly. I am a person that appreciates a good sense of humor and they both had me laughing throughout the checkout process. Thank you to my Midas Guys! I ll be seeing you soon!

Took my 300,000 mile Flex in for a new tire and Steve and Jay pointed out that there was another tire that was bad that I had not noticed. So glad they are trustworthy and knowledgeable. I have done business here for several years, and the current team is top-notch.

I was really happy with this place for years cause I regularly got oil changes there. I got one before the summer to go on a trip. My car started leaking antifreeze on our drive and almost overheated. I'd never had this problem before and the only thing I did was take it to Midas. It took a lot longer cause we kept having to stop, wait for it to cool, and refill the coolant. I got back and took it to them. They had the car for an hour running on a machine and said they couldn't find anything. I took it to my normal mechanic shop and they found a leak in my radiator. I was disappointed this happened cause I had had good experiences before. I wish they would have been honest and taken care of it.

Just got my brakes replaced here and I'm very pleased with the service. Steve the manager was very nice and engaged in conversation with me. The staff was nice as well! I brought my laptop with me to get some work done and the shop was very clean making for a conducive work environment. I will definitely return.

definitely will not be using Midas of Pickerington Ohio anymore for my service needs. gave them two weeks notice to order tires even had a day and time for service. i show up on our agreed time and pay then told my tires were not in to come back later. I couldn't due to having to work wouldn't be able to till later in the week. I call the next day to see if they have come in get informed he canceled the ticket since I wasn't coming back till later in the week. but can have them next day so I go in on a Friday finally my tires are in then get informed they can't mount my tires in my rim due to they need to stretch the tires. this is a new one for me never knew you had to do that. also get told they broke off my tire sensor band. I told to come back couple days later so I do and ask for a refund and then get told it's my fault that they were waiting on me to call and arrange a day for the tires. so now I'm out my time and gas and the cost of a new tire band.

Steve and Jay are professionals. Their interactions with me, other customers and the technicians who actually do the work are an example to be imitated. They really care, and I trust them. From my side of the Service Desk, this is a great place to take your car.

He then crumbled up my paper, told me he wasn't doing anything for me he's not helping not giving a refund and to get out of HIS SHOP. WORST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR DO NOT TRUST THEM. they basically just stole my 70 dollars and told me there is nothing I can do about it. I can not believe the way that he talked to a customer trying to help him fix their mistake. I am beyond upset , 70 dollars is alot right now and for the work to not get done, me have to go out of my way twice and ten to get yelled at and told they wouldn't fix it is so crazy to me. IT IS THEFT!!! I WILL BE PRESSING THIS ISSUE, I have video of the manager MIKE yelling at me and telling me to get out of His shop. Do not go there, worst service possible!!!!

My car is making some grouchy noise, most likely from under the hood. Took it to the Chevy dealership. Diagnostics were done but the dealership couldn't get the part till the following week. Couldn't wait n so rang Midas Pickerington n Steve picked up, and welcomed me to drop it off 8am the following morning. Nice! Got there and my first impression was their front office immaculate cleanliness - somethg I imagined was contrary to the typical auto technician workshop we all know. It felt like walking into the glassdoor office of a Fortune 500 company office suite - really.So, diagnosis/repair were done but on test drive realized the noise didn't go away. Jay agreed it needed a 2nd check. Following the 2nd diagnosis, the actual problem was identified. Long story short, I thought I shouldn't bear all the cost of repairs given the previous misdiagnosis. I was given the cell number of District manager Daniel Wenger who picked up n listened patiently as I narrated the episode. He apparently seemed to concur with my point and ordered his team to get the part n do the repairs FREE OF CHARGE - the same day!! They promptly did - n saved me a few hundred bucks in a dismal high inflation economy!! I left there a happy camper appreciating this team distinct professionalism. Hence, a 5 star review.

If i could leave 0 reviews i would.Arrived a little after they opened.Front desk guy (Steve) greeted me and got me checked in. I waited outside for an hour and decided to come in and charge up my phone. After about 2 hours of waiting inside i started pay attention to the customers coming in. Two different customers had arrived with two separate issues. No appointments just walk ins like myself.It s now been 6 hours of me sitting at the shop. The one customer had the fastest tire change I ve seeing at a tire shop. The other customer needed an oil change and they are done as well.Silly me to think that they pick and choose who to help right away and who to have sit around for 6 hours to have a tire checked I also know what s it s like to be short staffed but what i experienced today wasn t that at all.Had all this typed up ready to post and guess what. Another customer in and out before me.Be careful when doing business here as you can see how they treat certain people. Hey you may get lucky and be in and out you never know LOLUpdate: after speaking with Steve his response to me is all those customers had appointments and that i told him i was dropping off the car. That s what he stood by.

I was sadly disappointed with Midas to the point of tears. My car dropped the muffler and it was dragging. With a phone call I described the car's make, model, trim, and engine. I was informed they had the parts in stock and if I brought it in before noon it would be done the same day. They said they could cut out the bad muffler and weld in a replacement. Depending on the extent of damage, price would be between $200 and $600. So I brought it in.A few hours later, I received a phone call informing me that they had to replace the entire exhaust system. The cost would be over $2,900, and it would take 5 days. My heart sank to my stomach. There's no way I could afford to be out of so much money so quickly. I don't know where the disconnect is at Midas. To me it looks like bait and switch, I don't know what happened.I declined their service and took the car to an independent muffler shop that had cut and weld capabilities. They had the parts in stock, did the work in 30 minutes, and charged me $400. They did exactly the work that Midas originally said they would do.The best thing about this experience is that I now feel like I won the lottery. I saved $2,500 plus the cost of car rental for 5 days.

Well, where do I start ? Steve and his wonderful team, which I'd like to call the "David Putty" crew (the honest mechanic on Seinfeld), was really helpful today with my C5 Corvette. Steve was off today and team leader Matt was incredibly helpful and his customer service was amazing. They always go far and beyond the repairs they do. He took me in immediately at 8am this morning. I highly recommend this Midas location !Thanks guys !

I'm so VERY pleased with the Midas here in Pickerington. Jay is THE best Manager! The mechanics who have done work on my 2001 Jeep are excellent and very thorough. They always try to find solutions to your vehicle troubles in the least expensive, yet effective way to fix the issues. I will say, with much gratitude, this Midas treats their customers as they would their own family members. I have, and always will, recommend them.

Jay, Steve, and the team at Midas continue to prove they are the BEST in the business over and over. Not only do they know cars, they have mastered what excellent customer service looks like. Every time I have dealt with them since moving here five years ago has been nothing but professional, kind, honest, reliable and reasonable. And fun too as these guys are just downright delightful to work with. Love this place, love Jay, love Steve and love being a valued customer at a local business! Keep it up guys. Integrity and car service centers don t often go hand in hand but they do here. Steve and his crew are top notch when it comes to auto service. I have used them before for tires and got great service and care when needed. Most recently I brought my car in because I thought my brakes were going. They assessed my car, let me know my brakes were fine and did not charge me a thing or try to upsell me on other services. Would highly recommend you use them for all your auto care because I know I will.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Called to find out about getting a tire patch, the guy said they do it for free. I asked can i drop it off, they where like we have no time and are back up and have to leave it for 2 days. And they would not help me get back to my job, only 5 min away. Won't be going here if this is how they do business.
