Took a my jeep liberty in a few years ago. Said there were likely multiple problems but would know until they took my transmission apart ($750 to take it apart plus whatever they "found"). Sounded shady so I took my car to browns transmission in Newark and they found nothing wrong and charged me a few bucks for the inspection. Has been running fine for years. Be careful before handing over your dollars to these guys, either they are cons on the side or incompetent, not sure which is worse.

Scott has been taking care of my vehicles for over 15 years. His transmission he has rebuilt for me have consistently out performed and out lived the factory transmissions. Best of all this is an honest business that will NOT rip you off like so many other places. Several times he has fixed simple problems that likely would've been sold as a major ordeal at other shops. I purchased a vehicle the owner's son Josh. He's about the most dishonest, shadiest person I've crossed paths with. He's associated with and does business out of the shop. That's a bad combination. I'd recommend, for your own sake, you bring your business elsewhere.

Scott is extremely helpful, accommodating, and Scott s Transmission is very cost efficient! You won t be persuaded into purchasing extra things for your car you don t need - this is a very honest, reliable mechanic shop!

The folks at Scott's are great I don't think you will ever be disappointed by trusting your vehicle to them for repair. Honest and straightforward.

Dont ever buy a vehicle from his son Josh he will lie to you tell you it runs perfect when there will be 100 problems with it bought a vehicle on Aug 26 still at there shop getting worked on blahhh

Always takes longer for mechanical work. Very professional and suggested some more things that would have caused trouble in the long run. Great place
