There was a line of cars waiting but within 15 minutes I was done. They were pretty fast getting cars through the process. I think the e-check program is dumb but at least this place is quick.

I was pleased by the service at E-Check. I only had to wait for one car ahead of me. The service man was extremely pleasant and very professional. He explained what paperwork he needed, and he asked several questionsHe had me get out of the car to check the electrical plug in for the car. He had me get back in the car and pull forward and turn off the car and open the gas tank cover to test the pressure of the gas tank. He took the equipment out of the tank and printed out the result of the testing. He gave me the printout and told me my car had passed inspection.

The first time ever getting an attitude from this place from an old guy that works there I will be calling and making a complaint he was completely rude as soon as we pulled up I have been there multiple times and the other workers are really nice there I hope the old guy gets fired horrible experience this trip to there

Highly efficient, I showed up with no registration even thought that s what we thought was required. We got through immediately. Most negative reviews on public works buildings like this are irate customers who took the time to vent frustration at not understanding how the system works, I don t work here, I wasn t paid, I m telling you this is a good place.

While no one likes having to get your vehicle checked the employees that work there did a good job of getting me in and out quickly. They were very pleasant and helpful

I have been there many times over the years. Best place to get your e-check! The personnel are top notch. Jaime performed my e-check. The gentleman was professional and very polite. He knew his assignment. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Great job staff!!!

Apparently, if you use the kiosk like I have the last several times I had to have E-Check performed on one of my vehicles, it will instruct you to drive through the testing lanes. This is probably so they can check the exhaust and gas cap. Anyway, my car's onboard diagnostic system still needed to perform two system checks, so I have to drive around and come back for testing. I don't drive the car much, and the battery needed to be disconnected and charged. The staff were pretty friendly, but one of them cranked the hood up pretty high, I thought she was going to mess it up. I'm hoping the kiosk works next time I return so I can get my car registered. I wish this testing weren't necessary.

This is by far the best e check location I have been to. I tried their kiosk the other day and it worked like a charm. You can tell the equipment is well taken care of. The scanner read by vin right away and OBD scanner connected immediately. I tried the kiosk at the Chardon location and it was total frustration and in the end said me car wasn t ready to test which wasn t true. I have OBD scan tool. I have gone inside as well and it s always in quick and smooth process!Service: Emissions testing

He was amazing, was treated well, and mgr. Came over and talked to us to let us know that even though we didn't need it again until next year if we got it done while we were already there it would last until Jan of 2024 so we just went ahead and got it done. Awesome guys there.

First of all this is useless and ridiculous to be honest. Lake County Commissioners need to cease this unnecessary process only like 3 counties in Ohio still force people to go here to be able to get their license sticker?? Waste of taxpayer money to employ people to check the codes and gas cap.

Kiosk is a great thing but you'll have to find one that's open to get a copy of your e-check anyway.

I went through the echeck today on Bacon road and I m so mad at myself for not getting the mans name who did the check on my car but wow. He was so nice and helpful. "Operation is not allowed when subject is closed " Assuming this means I am unable to perform the E check when the building is closed, as it will not work. So what is the point of having this kiosk?????

I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the staff and the speed with which they handled the service. I've never been to an E-Check prior to this one so the very quick and smooth handling with clear and easy to understand language and instructions made for a trouble free inspection.

Went through with a friend, had him open up the hood which is not necessary to testing.The computer link up tells you all you need to know. Unnecessary procedures, should have taken pictures. Don't know if he was trying to train someone, but should have acknowledged that first , so let's see if someone can explain this ?Service: Emissions testingService: Emissions testing

It's silly that we still have to get these done in lake county. We are one of 2 counties in Ohio that still do them.... Don't see much of a point.People there were so nice and quick!

Total headache. Another perfect example of the left wanting to further their agenda, yet hurting the middle class who can't afford to get a check engine light off due to something that has nothing to do with emissions. And the only thing you need to do for a workaround is a receipt for $300 stating you attempted to fix the problem, and you pass. Total waste.

Had my Ohio E-check last week. There was no line. The Gentleman performing the E-check was personable and very professional. His name is Bruce. Passed with flying colors.

Let's face it, having to get an eCheck sucks. However, when awesome employees make your experience nice it makes it suck a lot less. The guy that did my eCheck was super friendly, very personable, and very helpful. We shared a couple stories and a few laughs which made the echeck less of a chore and more like stopping to visit a buddy. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he was working on 2/21/18 around their closing time and eChecked my customer's Nissan Pathfinder.
