Paid $9500 for a 2012 Forester. The day after buying it has a hard time starting. By day three I took it back because the check engine light was on. They fixed that problem but said they wouldn't fix anything else wrong. Day 6, no oil was in the car. It took 5 quarts. The vehicle runs on 5.5 quarts, so it was running on half a quart. The dealer had it in their possession three days prior. The check engine light came on again. We took it back again. They said they would diagnose it. Then they said they would fix the problem for $170. We put a new battery, changed the PCv valve and hose, did a fuel system clean, oil change and clean, blew out the fuel lines and have had to add oil every couple of days. We also put shims on the cam sensor as it was a TSB from 2012. They refused to even look at the bulletin when I mentioned it to the service manager. That was also contributing to the rough running and hard start.The piston rings are bad. It's ruining the cats. Check engine code p0420 consistently comes on every couple days.The fuel pump is bad. Well the filter is clogged and the car has died twice while I was driving it. Both times it had to be towed and died in a spot where I was afraid I was going to get hit. Thankfully we have AAA.The hard start is from lack of fuel as well as the shim issue. The oil is burning, as there is not a single drop on the ground.We bought it on 1/19/24. It's been 30 days and we've had to do all this work and will still have to replace the fuel pump and the ENGINE.So if you want to pay almost 10 grand for a car that needs a new motor, go to Adventure Subaru!Side note: we should have known better. They did an oil change on my mother in laws car and after picking it up from the dealer and driving to a friends house, the car lit on fire and burned to the ground. It burned so hot it melted the siding on the house. She had to get the insurance company involved because they left the oil plug out and the oil leaked out onto her exhaust starting the fire. They didn't want to give her a new car. She ended up paying more for another car.Complete failure at customer service. These people do not care about you or your family. Zero stars if I was able.The red car is the one we bought. The other one with damage is what they gave us to drive while they looked at the car. Had to take it back because it smelled so bad. Just an example at the level of service you will receive there.They said they didn't know it was damaged when we took it back. Lol. Wow!

I ve been bringing my Forester here for service since I bought it in May 2019. They ve always been friendly, helpful, and efficient. But I haven t needed anything out of the norm until recently, when I realized three days before a road trip that I was nearly 3K miles overdue for an oil change - and that I should probably have someone check out an annoying jerking happening when I accelerated. I called and explained my situation, and they got me right in. They could have just done the oil change and relayed the good news that nothing appeared to be wrong with my car to cause the jerking. But they went a step beyond and the head/senior tech troubleshooted based on some information he d read from other dealerships and fixed the issue based on that extra learning he d done. So I was able to go on my road trip with a smoothly driving car I had 100% confidence in. Thank you Shea and team!!!

I was looking for a new car, nothing specific. We walked into Adventure and met Liz. I knew than I was going to end up with a Subaru! Aside from everyone being so incredibly friendly and laid back, It just felt like home. Liz was so patient and accommodating and knowledgeable and Rob (the manager) never once made us feel like we were asking too many questions. I ended up with an Outback and couldn't be happier. I came in for a car and left with friends and a great new car!

Had a great experience purchasing our Outback. The salesman, Bob, was knowledgeable, personable and not pushy.The financing was very straightforward and the delivery person, John, was super knowledgeable and patient in explaining all the details!We're happy customers... expecting great service moving forward as well!

Made an online appointment for the next day did not seem to make a difference as it was when the service department opened and a couple vehicles were ahead of me. That is probably normal procedure but I did not realize that when I first arrived. The vehicles moved quickly through the Express bay and the technician was very polite. I waited an hour and a half in the customer waiting area while an oil change, tire rotation, and overall inspection took place, so not bad at all! The tech notion was courteous and answered my questions.

I ultimately did not purchase here due to poor communication overall and disregard for my preferred email communication method. I did buy a Subaru from another OH dealer.Salesperson Sandie only communicated via email to tell me she couldn t reach me even though my emails to her did not come back as undeliverable. She called while I was at work and could not answer despite my request for email only.On a positive note, finance manager Rachel did reach out after noting my frustration in a response to one of the I can t get ahold of you emails from Sandie. It was appreciated, and we would have looked more seriously at vehicles there if the initial contacts from Adventure Subaru had been like hers. Unfortunately, I had stated previously that we wanted to move quickly on this purchase- we had already found our Subaru at another dealer and made a deposit to hold it by the time she reached out.

I used to go to Conrad's for oil changes and maintenance until a handful of bad experiences. I started going here and started working with Jim. As long as he sticks around I'll keep going back. I've been real happy with the services here, he's a solid dude and has my best interest in mind.

The service staff is friendly and explains anything that needs done . I like that I have been able to use the night drop box. This way the service department has the entire next day to complete the work. Typically the work is completed in one business day unless it is something involved.

I went here today to get some work done on my car, I have a 2015 Subaru Forester. The way these people made me feel so comfortable , the vibes here are legit like family. Every single person I interacted with there today were absolutely amazing and kind, always asking if there was anything they could do, I was kept updated on how long it would be. Any question I had even if it wasn't related to the service that was going on today they took the time to answer every single one of my questions. I would recommend adventure Subaru in painesville to anybody!!!

Shae (in service) is who every customer service representative should be. From my phone call to the service department until the time I drove my Forester out of the service department, she confirmed the issue with my car, kept in touch during the repair, seamlessly wrote up the invoice (explaining what was covered by my "Gold Plus" CPO warranty), and she did all of this like she had the greatest job in the world! Fast and courteous oil change and tire rotation, all without an appointment -- but confused about inspection checklist. Had rear break pads changed 5 months ago, yet the inspection checklist showed otherwise...but this was resolved and all questions answered by service manager - thank you, Mark!

My husband and I bought a pre-owned 2020 Subaru and we were not disappointed. Our salesman Tyler was helpful and addressed every question we had. He was honest when he didn t know the answer and always was prompt to get the information we needed. He was such a pleasant young man to do business with! We re glad we were able to find the vehicle we wanted at Adventure Subaru. The whole staff treated us very well.

Adventure Subaru needs more than 5 stars, everyone working is very friendly. They are all very helpful and understanding and never had an issue with them. I had car issues on my car this morning, I called they gave me the number to call for roadside assistance. Both guys I talked to very nice (one helped with Roadside the other checking for a car I can use). They call informing me my car is pulling in and once I arrived they had a vehicle ready for me to use. As I mentioned before very understanding since I need a car for work tomorrow and Saturday. I will continue to use Adventure Subaru, it is worth the drive from Ashtabula County.

Excellent buying experience, thank you Rhonda!Drove all the way from Blairsville, GA to go to this dealership and it was soooooo worth it. For months, I have been looking for a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0T with a 6-speed manual transmission. My dad and I were doing some research and one popped up on Autotrader. We immediately called and got in touch with a woman named Rhonda. We asked for out the door price and photos of the vehicle because it had just been listed with limited pictures. She was extremely responsive and informative and got us a fantastic deal. I put a deposit down and we headed that way to pick up my car. As soon as I got in the car, I put in reverse and said, "I don't even need to drive this, it's perfect." I did obviously drive it and loved it! As soon as I got back from my test drive, she had all the paperwork ready to sign and we were out the door. The best experience I've had with a dealership EVER. If you are looking to buy a vehicle, I definitely recommend Adventure Subaru and ask for Rhonda!!!

Excellent and timely service on my vehicle, great service writers. Jim Knepper was my service writer and he did a great job between getting to me as soon as I pulled into the service lane, giving me updates on my vehicle as the service was being performed, all the way up to walking me to my vehicle when it was all washed and ready to drive away. Thank you, I ll be using Adventure Subaru for all my Subaru needs from here on.

Worst dealership service experience I ve been to in my life. Would give it 0 stars if possible. they give time estimates for simple fixes and repeatedly lower their priority through the day in favor of higher $$ jobs. Made an appt. ahead of time for a recall software fix and oil change took over 6 hours No explanation of delays, no willingness to work on cost, just offered a promissory we ll hook you up next time comment from the SVC manager. Worthless.Have also had other suby friends get worked over on similar fixes and purchases one guy bought a WRX during a sales event they later wouldn t acknowledge the warranties on, another went in yesterday for a simple tire patch they claimed would be 20m that took over 3 hours he sat there the whole time and was late to his nieces birthday because of their laziness and negligence Never visit this place for service or help.

So you messed up a little right?? Got into a messy relationship with a messy breakup and long story short you need a new car yesterday. We've all been there. Imagine walking through the doors of yet another car lot ready for more disappointment but heck if you go home saying you didn't try. And the first thing that happens is someone notices the dumb look on your face and they ask if you're OK. Do you want a cookie?? A drink of water?? A stiff drink??That's Adventure Suburu in Painesville Oh. Except the cookie was a granola bar and the stiff drink was just fresh coffee but let's not fret over tiny details.Jokes aside, never have We ever walked into a car dealership (or sales establishment period) and the first interaction was 10 minutes of staff just trying to determine if We're generally okay and safe as a person before even broaching the topic of making a sale. We don't use this phrase lightly, they treated Us like a childhood friend. We did purchase a vehicle from them, and despite it being a days long process they kept Us in the loop every step of the way. The level of both transparency and empathy shown by the sales and service crew here should be a standard for professionalism in the industry. As a vet that's struggled some in civilian life, this really made us feel safe and valued as a person not just as a customer. And We never even pulled the "I'm a vet" card.The vehicle itself has been clearly well serviced by them. It looks great inside and out. Has been running well in the short time We've had it so far. We couldn't ask for a more perfect experience. 10/10 would let them date our mom.

With car trouble halfway between Maine and Minnesota, the staff were so understanding. Troubleshooting and repairing our problem and sending us on our way all on a Saturday morning, it was one of the kindest and most efficient experiences with auto service we have ever experienced. Let me just begin by saying Adventure and their service department went above and beyond to make sure my pride and joy (2015 WRX) was in good hands and taken care of. I was driving home from a doctors appointment and my check engine light popped on (not my first rodeo with this happening). I stopped at a local gas station and we(my husband and I)scanned for codes. A transmission code and catalytic converter code. I called up and set an appointment for them to look over my car that Tuesday. They weren't able to confirm all the findings that day, but without hesitation, made sure I had a loaner vehicle and was able to get to work. Shaelee kept in contact with me during the entire week and a half that they had my car. She understood how much my car means to me, and they weren't going to let me take it back without it being properly fixed. Kudos to the tech working on it, because what he first thought was a bad front cat, turned out to be a cracked manifold. Because of his gut feeling and doing a second lookover, he found this. I cannot thank them enough for the time they took to work on my car, but for keeping in touch every step of the way and making sure they were giving me back a safe vehicle, not only for me; but for my baby. Went to Adventure Subaru in search of getting into a Crosstrek. Bob Lytton was very helpful and knowledgeable during the whole process. The whole staff at Adventure was very friendly and did not pressure you into buying a vehicle. I left that day in a 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness. Thanks again to Bob and the whole staff. I would recommend anyone looking to get into a new vehicle to shop at Adventure.

On the way from.Buffalo to St. Louis for the funeral, of a loved one, my 2019 Forester's dashboard suddenly lit up like a Christmas tree. Luckily, I pulled into Adventure Subaru. They took amazing care of me in my fragile state and had me back on the road the next morning. I am so grateful to the service team there.
