AIS was outstanding! I was so hopeful when several neighbors recommended them, after very defeating experiences at Crown Chrysler dealership. AIS eas very personable, attentive, and fixed my car at 25% the cost Crown Chrysler was going to charge me! My wife already wants to take her car to AIS! What an absolute top find! Thank you AIS!!!

Currently have my fianc�s truck and have been so helpful! We are having struggles with our warranty and dealership and they have kept us updated on everything and been helping us get justice with the warranty. This is the best auto inspection place and they actually care for their customers :)

Look no further. Great family business. Solved my issue for less than half the cost quoted by the dealer to TRY something that may not have even worked. THEY told me I was basically out of luck. Auto Inspection Service figured it out no problem.

Great place to get your car worked on good prices. Great people that work there. And they have a great fireworks BBQ every year for customers!! If you can use them for all your car needs!

I got my car back to me on the same day I took it in. Their prices are fair and they were very friendly. I will definitely be using them in the future.

They're the best. Honest. Very well educated mechanics. You pay a little more per hour than the typical down home price but they get it done fast and can diagnose problems in minutes that stump the other guys for multiple visits. You do get what you pay for. They answer their phone or call you back quick. They work on your car even without an appointment before the other guys would have returned your call. They treat you like you're an important part of their business. I won't go anywhere else ever again.

Auto Inspection Services always does a great job servicing our cars. Joyce was able to schedule both of our cars for the day I asked for. We dropped one off the night before. I had left the center interior light on and realized it after I dropped my key down the chute. I emailed and then called, expecting to leave a message. Joyce answered the phone and said No problem, she would go outside and turn out the light. The next day she called to let me know our first car was done. I brought out the other and switched them out. The second car was finished soon after. We will definitely be back. Love to support the small family business of a great family!Service: Oil change

Unfortunately, the business has changed over time. They do not treat their customers like they used to. Even though they did work that took fifteen minutes, they charged me the full hour of service. It is a new policy that makes them about the same as everyone else. I am very disappointed. I will go to another place to find out the pricing. If it is the same, then I will never go back to this place again for this type of service.

I cannot recommend this company enough! Every time we have brought our cars in the entire staff has been so polite and friendly, as well as reasonably priced in my opinion. We have never had any issues with their work and we trust them to be honest about what needs done. We recently had an engine issue with our car and they have absolutely exceeded our expectations showing us so much patience as we figured out what the best move forward for our family was. We have been taking our vehicles to Auto Inspection Service for several years. They have done a great job on our vehicles, have gotten us in quickly for appointments, and have the vehicles ready in a timely manner. We can trust Jim's recommendations in terms of what actually needs to get done, vs other places who seem to find lots of things wrong and that are supposedly crucial to get fixed asap. They have a car savings program that is well worth the price even if you only use it for oil changes. We highly recommend Jim and his team.

AIS has been a wonderful and reliable auto shop for me ever since I moved into the area 3 years ago. They worked magic reconstructing the rusted out brake lines for my old '94 DeVille and just recently did a great job prepping my '09 Caliber to give to my son! I trust them to be forthright and honest in their estimates and in doing great work. Jim and Mike were very friendly. Scheduling was easy. They even valeted my car to and from their shop. Work was done quickly and when they found another issue, they called and informed me of the issue. Jim is not pushing like some other repair shops. Great service. Great staff. I'll recommend him to others and I'll be taking my wife's car there too.

My brother introduced me to Jim and his team at Auto Inspection Service. My Jeep needed brakes rather quickly, and AIS was able to get me a more than fair price, with excellent work, and friendly service.I liked it so much, I just took my wife's Durango there for an oil change and tire rotation. I will most certainly bring my vehicles there in the future.

My vehicle gets an inspection and advice on any other repairs that may be needed as well as the requested service. They never try to sell any unneeded service and even advise you as to what is best to keep you safe. Jim and his family have always taken care of me. They do it all from new tires, to gas tanks, to brake lines, and anything else you would ever need. I highly recommend buying one of the coupon books he sells at it saved me quite a bit of money on repairs! genuine and honest people here.

Jim is truly someone that I value having in my family's life. He is honest, friendly, genuinely cares and, no offence to other honest mechanics, but there ain't a toton of them out there like that. We need to support a small business like Auto Inspection Service in these times. Today, he came and picked up my car from my house, fixed a part that was still under warranty, returned my car and didn't charge me. Come on. You know a lot of mechanics that have that kind of integrity and service? I've been to a bunch and I don't. It may sound over the top but it is important to have people like this in your life that you can trust to take care of your car which is ultimately taking care of your family. Thanks Jim and Auto Inspection Service.

AIS consistently does a great job on both of our vehicles. It's a difficult thing to find an auto shop that you trust not to take advantage of you. Mr. Carpenter and his staff go out of their way to build trust and make sure that our vehicles are taken care of. I would recommend this shop to anyone with no reservations.

I was recommended to Jim Carpenter at AIS from two different colleagues. I started taking my Tahoe there and trusted Jim to the fullest. He is honest, kind, genuine, and knows his field. He tells me what needs fixed immediately and what can wait. His prices are reasonable and he stands behind his work and decisions. His business has grown a lot just in the few past years I have been going. We also trust him with our Mercedes and Jeep. Now I recommend him to friends, FB, and Nextdoor.

I have been coming to AIS for over 5 years and the experience has been great. On my first visit the owners daughter Julie looked at a list of recommended fluid changes from another shop and informed me that none of the services were due at this time. My truck only had 45,000 miles on it. I now have 197,000 miles on it and AIS has kept it like new. They always explain the way something should be done and the what if, if I chose not to get it fixed. Please you owe it to your self to call them for a quote, after all the call is free and the savings speak for themselves.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

I took advantage of the vehicle pick up service from Auto Inspection Service and they were amazing. The showed up exactly on time to pick up my vehicle from my own driveway. I had a wish list of items to be performed on my vehicle including (brake light, squeaky belt, AC, Spark Plugs, Oil Leak) Jim and his team took great care of me keeping me abreast of everything and I value their communication. They were honest and candid in every approach and you don't find that often in a mechanic. I would recommend Auto Inspection Service to everyone I know that has a foreign vehicle and wants that one on one focused care for the vehicle. It really was a great experience handing my keys to Jim ... they have integrity and stellar service!!!!

Had a roadside emergency and was able to leave the truck over the weekend to be repaired. It got repaired one day sooner than expected and it wasn t as bad as I thought it would be for what happened to the truck. Great diagnosis, quick service and good value. Joyce was quite the help.

Thank you guys again for taking such good care of me and my car. Especially on such short notice and being the day after Christmas. I just wanted to send you a copy of the e-mail I sent out to my friends and co-workers! You did a great job and I really appreciate it!.We have been very pleased with the service and always feel that we are treated fairly. When I leave with my vehicle I am confident its fixed. I've spent years struggling with mechanics that give you the run around, make up problem or fees, and are just generally out to rip you off. Auto Inspection Services is the complete opposite of this. Every time I have been here their staff is very courteous, helpful, and are constantly trying to give me a better deal, good advice, or free coupons for future services. The service has always been quick and thorough. I recommend them to everyone!

I have been taking my two older vehicles to Auto Inspection Service for several years now. Being older vehicles, more maintenance is required, so I have taken both vehicles to Auto Inspection Service several times. Every time, without exception, my experience has always been a positive one. The staff is courteous and friendly. The time it takes for the staff to fix a problem has always been quick. They will always call me and explain what the problem is and how much it will cost before doing any work. There are never any surprises or extra charges when I pick my vehicle up.Finding a good mechanic is difficult enough, finding a great mechanic that you can trust is even a rarer fine. I recommend Auto Inspection Service to all my friends and do so with full confidence that they will be treated with honesty and respect.

As a DIY mechanic who only takes his truck to the shop when I physically do not have the tools to fix something, I am VERY disappointed with this shop. I have had multiple bad experiences with this shop. They put the wrong valve stems in my tire and then told me it would be okay, but driving a truck that needs high pressure valve stems, I cannot put 80psi in my truck tires when the stem is only rated for 65. They replaced a part in my transmission after pulling it apart and knowing full well that the part, on first glance, was not the problem, all after not running a diagnosis on my truck but instead listening to it run and say that's what they thought it was. I had to go in there and show them what I believed the problem to actually be, which after they replaced, the truck was running well again. Now they are not honoring the warranty of the labor because I went out and bought the part because I wanted my truck back. Was never told this up front. I would have had them purchase the part. Very bad experience with this shop. Would not recommend, ever.

I had a problem with my Honda Fit while returning from work on a Friday afternoon. Since AIS is on my home, I decided to go straight to the shop. Jim took a quick test drive with me in my car and recommended that I leave the car at the shop so they could work on it first thing the next morning (Jim drove me home). My car was fixed and back to me by 1 PM on Saturday. You're not going to find that kind of customer service, quick turnaround and care from any other shop around, certainly not the Honda dealers. I highly recommend AIS to all my friends and to anyone who wants the peace of mind that they are getting treated honestly and fairly. Thanks, Jim!!!
