Super helpful and one of the best places I've ever dealt with. My alternator went out, so I took cover off and noticed one of diodes had overheated and broken off. I reached out and he explained why it could have happened and what i should look for to diagnose it. Then he sold me a diode rectifier and voltage regulator. I tried finding the solder I would need without asking because I hate to be the million questions type of customer. 1-2 hours later and information overloaded, i went to bed. Next morning i told him i was having trouble finding solder and he said he would throw some in with my order. I tried paying him as from my search i saw its not very cheap. He said wasn't necessary. High quality parts and packaged very well. Overall experience is 11/10. Pics are my old diode and when I received my rectifier. Wish I would have taken more.

I bought a 270a unit and was upgraded to a 300+ for free. I have never experienced customer service as fast and smooth as Jonathan. Communication just as good as the product. Can't go wrong with brand x

I have purchased 4 alts, lithium charger, 2 voltage control knobs, and more from BrandX over the years. Great products, fair prices, and exceptional customer service. Buyer beware, make sure that you do your research and understand what you are doing FIRST before wasting their valuable time with stupid questions. If you have any issues, BrandX will go above and beyond to make it right. I know from my own experiences. BRANDX HAS EARNED MY BUSINESS, CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. #BrutalSounds

Good product, but bad customer service. I had questions about his product and hooking the alts up for my car audio guy. Very rude and unprofessional. I don't know if he was mad due to the fact that I texted him around 10:45-11:00pm, but customers shouldn't be treated nor talked to like he tried to talk to me. I've bought 4 alts from this guy, he will never get my business ever again.

Just a warning. Don't get upset when he offers a warranty and your stuff takes over 2 months to get to you or gives you minimal information on a $600 alt, this guy will blast you and your address all over the internet. Then proceeds to call you a scammer and claim you attempted to get a third alternator. Which is in fact a form of slander.

Great business will send all my Basshead friends here had a coltage problem with my alt, changed out my 14.8 regulator to the brand x 15.5 v regulator and my voltage has been golden!!! Will definitely be back for more business down the line!

Luv all the deals these guys have! Customer service is outstanding by far with any company I ve dealt with. No hesitation at all when a question or problem occurs. Let s not forget how knowledgeable Johnathan is there. This guy will even help you at shows! Fix or help out with any electrical problem that may arise. Kudos to this team for everything they do for the bass community.

Great products, got a 270amp Alternator for my blazer about 2 years ago now when I had a system in it, and it helped a lot with my voltage drop and staying steady. It s still working great. Never had an issue with it. The pricing is great in my opinion, and the turn around time is also really good considering that they have to build them. I always recommend this company to anyone wanting to purchase a bigger alternator or other electrical stuff. Got a lifetime customer out of me!

Chose autotech because the young lady that called me back wanted to have a little attitude because she had to do her job and call me back, after 3 weeks might I add. I tried multiple times to reach out and got nothing but attitude in return. I'll gladly give another company my business

I have had my brand x alternator in for a few months now and they are my first upgraded alternator and I don't regret it. I have had massive gains all across my system with the new Alternator. Shot past my competition greatly and pushing 4 15's with ease.

Brand x is the only HO alternator I have ever ordered. I have purchased 3 over the last few years. Never had a single issue. Customer service is great, being polite goes a long way thanks for the great product. I will continue to recommend your brand!

I recently purchased an alternator , second hand, of a Brand X competitor. It wouldn t charge, had 0 output, wasn t getting any help from anyone else . Decided to reach out to Brand X, not only did they offer to help , but knocked out the repair @ the Rukus & Chill show in a matter of minutes and I was right back charging a demoing Brand X FTW, btw will be going back to a Brand X because of this.

Have been running these alts for over 2 years with no issues or of the alts. I even have spare alternators just in case and have never had to use them. I highly recommend them to anyone who asks what company to go with.

Needed a HO alt for a BMW. John was able to provide me a 270 Amp, powder coated color of my choice, with a voltage set-point of my choosing. All better than the price I could have spent on a OEM unit. This product is still running strong 2 years later.

Great product at an unbeatable price customer service matches the product aswell I ve asked a million questions before purchasing alternators,battery s,etc .my questions have always been answered directly & thoroughly by an actual member of the team. 10/10 would recommend.I m currently running a 270amp alternator from Brand X Electrical,with 1 40ah yinlong dropping to 13.8volts on a taramps bass 8k wired at .67 rising to 1.3ohm.

If I could give a zero star, I would. My husband and I removed his alternator due to it having continuous issues. This alternator was bought from Brand X, and since the beginning had issues. We finally decided to reach out and see if they could fix it for us because we had the lifetime warranty After seven weeks of it being gone, and us being without a vehicle, we finally got some communication from them. We had reached out multiple times during those weeks, asking for updates. We got none. After seven weeks, they sent us a link to an invoice. So he clicks on it, we are asked to pay $110!! We were guaranteed a lifetime warranty when buying the part, how come we are asked to pay for more than just shipping? I m unsure, and upset. This process has been awful, and there has been no communication from them whatsoever. We could ve just bought a better alternator at this point, and it s extremely frustrating. When they say lifetime warranty do not believe it. I am unpleased and will not be buying from them again.
