This is a very honest place. Extreme integrity. My truck had a problem and I thought it was the transmission or front differential. The shop owner kept the truck a few days to try to diagnose the situation. It was not what I thought it was. Although he spent a lot of time on my truck he didn't take anything from me. He could have cheated me easily, but he didn't. It is so refreshing to meet an honest automotive guy. I would not hesitate to send anyone here. If you need transmission work this is the guy.

I've never written a review for a company who sent me elsewhere, but here it goes. lol Kevin is an incredibly good dude. Knowledgeable and very informative. He explained to me the issues with my car. Turns out that the reason for the transmission issues was actually computer issues. (Speed censors to be exact.) This saved me a big chunk of change. Thank you, Kevin. After calling several transmission shops, Kevin was the only mechanic who did not try to up-sell me on my repair work. He listened to my symptoms and said he didn t want to jump to conclusions about doing an entire rebuilt transmission. He was prompt with servicing my vehicle and was able to resolve my issues without doing unnecessary work. I highly recommend this business for any transmission work, as Kevin is honest and transparent.Service: Transmission

Kevin the one-man-army completely rebuilt my transmission for half the cost the dealership was offering for a used transmission. He even followed up to make sure it was running clean, and frankly, it runs better now than before. I can't recommend this business enough for any sort of car repair. Kevin is an honest and knowledgeable person! He fixed my 2001 Ford Ranger transmission very quickly. He knew exactly what the problem was, and was very very fair on pricing. I appreciate his willingness to show and explain his logic and show the broken part. He made a customer for life, hopefully I don t see him again, but if I need a transmission repair I m definitely going back to Park! Thanks Kevin!

Small family owned shop but great at what they do (dad and brother both retired so now it's just Kevin I believe). We've had Kevin work on our VW Beetle for a few things and couldn't be happier. Super, honest, great guy. We were having a transmission slipping issue and called/visited several places. Those that would actually work on VWs said I'd need a new/rebuilt transmission. Called Kevin up and have him there basics and he was like "oh yeah, it's probably doing this and this right?... I know exactly what wrong. It's probably just a valve body that needs to be replaced. See it all the time. You shouldn't need a new transmission." Ran me about $1750 instead of the $3500-5000 I was quoted for a whole new transmission by several other places. Had it done in like 2 days. Even called me a week or so later to find out how it was running and if everything was still ok! Had something else wrong where he looked at it, said he THINKS it's X which would run several hundred dollars, but wanted another day to take a second look if I was ok with it. Called me the next day, said he finally found the issue and it was small, only like $150 give or take. Extremely honest and trustworthy. The only down side is he doesn't take credit cards (or at least didn't when I had my work done). But I'll figure out a way to pay cash or check to an honest, good mechanic over credit to a questionable/unknown one any day.

Took my car in he drove it, cleared codes thinking it may be transmission filter. Was very quick to get in contact and would ask permission before performing any work.

These guys are the real deal...family owned ! They have worked on my Scorpio Merkur which is a rare car, automatic and manual transmissions. Both fixed in a timely fashion, still running and the price, well, as you know these things can get expensive....

This is the only truly honest xmission shop I've seen.if your xmission is healthy or just needs a tweak they will do it at low cost. if it needs rebuilding they can do that too. but they will NOT stick you with repairs you don't need.

I came here about ten years ago thought I needed a transmission on my 99 Ford Explorer it ended up being a 80 dollar fix he could ve been dishonest but was very honest I always thought hopefully I d never need him again but if I do definitely coming back 10 years later I m glad I remember him because I need him again ,you don t find Mechanics like him every day!
