Jay is amazing and all his staff. We have bought and taking are cars Serpentini of Westlake. Serpentini said I needed all kinds of work done and would cost around a thousand dollars.I took it to Jay he was able to fix the problem for a fraction of the price. I ve been taking my vehicles to him ever since. He is the most HONEST RELIABLE mechanic I ve ever came across. I would recommend him to anyone don t look no further, if you need car/truck work done take it to Jay.

These guys are freaking amazing! I recently moved here from out of state and had some issues with my Expedition not starting. In the past I had numerous auto repair shops replace starter after stater after starter...When my car wouldn't start here in North Olmsted, I had it towed to these guys and wow...they replaced the battery cables and the car starts every time. These folks are amazing, honest and get the job done. I had used other auto repair shops in North Olmsted with less then good results, but Advanced is my go to for my old Ford Expedition! Trust these guys...friendly and honest.

Jay is top notch. I've been using him on multiple vehicles for over 15 years and always had a great experience but this week he really blew me away. He went above and beyond to attempting to detect a drivetrain issue. Though he was admittedly and humbly stumped on my issue, he took it upon himself to contact a local drivetrain expert. He charged me NOTHING for the multiple hours (over days) he put into trying to figure out my issue. You do not encounter honestly like this very often anymore. He restored my faith in humanity and was truly a godsend in the remedy for my situation. I will continue to refer him to any and everyone that will listen. It only takes a few moments of dealing with him to know he is not your average mechanic shop.

Had some license plate screws so warped that I couldn't extract them no matter what tools I used. Brought my car here and they extracted them in 5 minutes at no cost! Will definitely be coming here for any future needs.

Did a great job fixing my Ford focus transmission. Only mechanic willing to work on it besides the dealership, and they saved me almost 1k in labor alone. Definitely bringing my business here from now on

Had a family friend that has been going to Jay for years and recommended him when I was looking for a new mechanic. He is very honest about his work and walking through the fixes needed on a vehicle never felt forced or like you were being sold on something. I have even recommended him to all my friends or family that are looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic. Too many times have I been underwhelmed or cheated by the big box mechanic locations and their need to pump out as many fixes as fast as they can. Took my old beater in for a muffler replacement. Car was so old and discontinued, that this shop scoured the internet and other inventory to find a muffler for me. They weren't successful but still professional, quick, and responsive. I'll be back though!

Quality service at an adorable price that I highly recommend! I ve been coming to Jay s for about five years now. I suggest him to all my family and friends. Every time I visit, Jay is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ve never experienced such a high level of both quality and affordability.I trust him completely, he will never try to sell you something you don t need. Jay also takes the time to explain technical concepts in a non-technical way, so I can understand fully.When I first came to him, my car was having manifold issues. I had ten other estimates in hand, all of which told me the manifold would require replacement. He was the only mechanic to tell me he could fix it without replacement, and his price was far more reasonable than all the other estimates.You ll be thrilled you had your vehicle serviced here. I can t suggest Auto Advanced Diagnostics and Jay enough!

I am not for sure how I feel about my visit. I was the 1st in and the last out. Another customer arrived later than I and he was taken care of quickly while I continued to wait after his departure. I was there for oil change and maintenance. The people were pleasant but I cannot say that I received the reported exceptional service. I waited in the sitting area and it was beyond uncomfortable and COLD. The cost was a little higher than average. I may consider or not giving the business another opportunity.

I ve been to Advanced a couple of times. The owner Jay is very nice, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced! He explains everything perfectly and is not out to get you. I will use Advanced in the future .although I hope not to be there!Thanks Jay!

They have the best service here! Jay is always so very helpful on what needs to be done right away and what should be done next on the car. And you can t forget about Donna who makes everything about scheduling a breeze! Never thought I d say I love taking my car into the shop until I came here! My car was making a weird noise so I called around the area and Advanced Diagnostics Auto Repair was the only shop that was willing to look at my car the same day. When I got there it only took about 15 minutes to get a an estimate and make an appointment. I dropped my car off the next day and they had it ready in a couple of hours. It was that simple.I am always hesitant about trying new mechanics but the process so easy. Jay was very nice, honest and professional. The prices are very reasonable. I could not have asked for better service! I am so glad I found this place. I will definitely be going back for any future repairs.

I needed new brake pads and rotors and a friend recommended this place. They were less than half the price of some of the other places I called. I ended up getting an oil change, new spark plugs, and some filters replaced as well since I needed them and the price was right. Outstanding service at a great price. My car has 126,000 miles and it is driving like new. I would highly recommend.

Went for an oil change left with a great mechanic for my car. Jay is a great guy. Very friendly and approachable. Have a few things I need to get done to my car. He assured me it wasn't of major importance right this second and he was very fair on prices. I would recommend this place to everyone I know

Recently moved to the area and needed a new shop to take the cars to. First experience with these guys was good. Had a weird issue with my car that required me to bring it in twice in one week and they took care of me. Also appreciate Jay s ability to communicate in a friendly and informative manner. I ve found you don t always get that with mechanics. Would recommend.

Had a great experience. Jay is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It's hard to find a good mechanic that is honest and has the customers best interests in mind. He will take the time to explain exactly what is wrong with your car and what you need to do to fix it. I will be a returning customer for a long time.

Jay runs the most respectable auto repair business I've ever visited. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a very quick turnaround between diagnosis and completion of repairs.After-hours dropoffs have a safe drop slot for keys, and his pricing for repairs has been consistently more affordable than any other business I've encountered. That statement holds true across all my past mechanics from Cincinnati to Detroit, and Columbus to Cleveland. He is an excellent communicator and makes sure to contact you with his diagnosis and pricing for the necessary work BEFORE conducting any repairs. Thanks, Jay!

Brought my truck in to correct a leaking exhaust manifold. For starters, they were the only fair and reasonable quote I received and got me in within a week. I was a few days away from driving to Washington state for work, and during the trip, the manifold failed and I had another leak. I called and explained the situation to J. I got the truck into a local shop and had the leak confirmed. J stood by his work and covered the replacement of the manifold. I wasn't given any sort of run around. All he asked was for a local family owned shop that I liked, and the chance to speak to the mechanic at that shop.Service: Exhaust

Went to my Dealer for an estimate on replacing my trucks front Rotors & Brake Pads. Took my F-150 to Jay and he did a fantastic job for a Fraction of the cost. He also discovered and treated lazy mechanic work, which he described to me in perfect English instead of assuming I am a part time mechanic. This was very welcome, I will NOT be going anywhere else moving forward. Highly recommend his professional services and is a great guy to deal with.

I have been to many repair shops, especially the chain stores like NTB, Mr. Tire, etc. While you may find a shop with an honest and professional mechanic, you can not always guarantee your work will be done professionally, fairly and with care.My 2012 Corolla with 78k miles on it was shaking on the steering wheel on the highway, even though I had it aligned at the dealership. It was also making grinding noises on turns and when first starting. So, I hoped this mechanic would be able to help. Most private shops were very busy and didn't want to look at my car, but he did. He did a test drive, checked my brakes, and looked over my car. But what he did next impressed me the most.He communicated with me thoroughly about my brakes and explained the noise. He explained what I could do to fix it, but that it wasn't a safety hazard. He didn't try to upsell me and left me to make the decision about my car. He only charged me for a brake check, not for an inspection, and then gave me a free tire rotation. Kind, knowledgeable and professional.

Jay is the best mechanic in north east Ohio. I regularly have my car as well as 2 other cars from my family in here for routine and major maintenance. I highly recommend Jay and Advanced Diagnostics. Best mechanic in North Olmsted. Honest, fair and quick. You can trust Jay with any car repairs.

My rear brakes were going and I stopped by and the owner quoted me half the price of Midas. I did some research and he was providing better parts than Midas. I could not be happier. It s great to work with honest people that do great work. Very refreshing.

The owner, Jay, is knowledgeable, respectful of your time, and keeps repairs as cost effective as possible. He is thorough with his inspection of my vehicle, and safety is his priority. It was so easy to drop my car off and get a rental so the breakdown of my vehicle would be as inconvenient as possible. Jay was even able to work with my extended warranty company. He took care of everything for me, I didn't even have to make a phone call in to them.When I take my car for an oil change Jay has wifi and a tv to keep my daughter entertained while we wait. He even takes the time to explain the repair in a way that's easy to understand. It's so hard to find a repair shop and mechanic you can trust. I will never bring my car to anyone else!!!
