Had a stellar buying experience. Everyone was more than helpful and answered all of our newbie questions. Rob was great in shepherding our way through the experience. Couldn't be happier with the transaction and would recommend to anyone in the area.

We had a great experience with General RV. We bought a $13,000 used camper and they treated us like we bought a $1M motorhome. No Exaggeration! We have owned a motorhome and two campers in the past and we knew exactly what we wanted (size, layout, weight, and price). Every person we talked to listened and was interested in making sure we got exactly what we were looking for!! From the internet salesperson, the salesperson in Tampa FL, our salesperson Canton OH (the dealership closer to home and where we ended up buying), the receptionist at the door waiting on us with VIP passes, the gentleman running the service/delivery department, the finance manager, the young man that helped us hook-up, and especially the very knowledgeable young lady that gave us the demo. If your time is important, you want to purchase from an organization that has your best interest in mind, it does not get any better this! Well done General Team, we will be back!!

General RV Center exceeded all expectations with a stellar team that turned our RV buying experience into a joyous adventure. Greg deserves a standing ovation for his Sherlock Holmes-like attention to detail during the showing process. Every nook and cranny of the RV was explored, ensuring no stone was left unturned. Jon stepped up to the financial plate, wielding paperwork like a surgeon, making the typically tedious finance proceedings surprisingly painless. But the star of the show was Greg once again when he took us through the RV operations and functions. It was like attending a masterclass in mobile living, delivered with an extra dose of good humor. His attentiveness and thorough explanations turned what could be a daunting learning curve into an enjoyable journey.General RV Center isn't just about selling RVs; it's about creating a positive, laughter-filled experience for its customers. Five stars for the impeccable service, attention to detail, and the unexpected stand-up comedy during our RV journey. Here's to hitting the open road with confidence and a smile, thanks to the dream team at General RV Center!

We are so excited for our first camper purchase from General RV. We ran into a few hiccups but Matthew B went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. He is truly a gem. My husband and I strongly recommend General RV! Thanks again!

Ola travel camping enthusiasts. The entire operation at General RV was top notch. Fred in sales, got me started by finding and test driving my motor mini motor home. The store feels like a resort and shining happy people at every turn. Aaron was clear and informative on the walk thru, Linda as the departure coordinator I call her did such a great job I was compelled to give a spontaneous hug and I could feel the love at every turn. Jared in financial because every thing has its price, went above and beyond to secure me a competitive loan rate and protection packages. So as I cruise down the road I will have peace of mind. This is a major purchase and a shout out to all the amazing people that do their job with a certain flair that has to be seen to be appreciated

Patiently waiting on our new Brinkley. Very nice people. Tim our salesman. Is working hard to get us the add-ons we want . And making sure we like it. Thanks Tim .2nd time back getting our Brinkley worked on and we will have a third trip. For other things that need replaced. So far 2 windows. Because you have to replace the whole thing in order to fix the blinds wow. The entry door needs replaced. They had to order it. The hinges are not true. And when you shut the door. It's pulling apart. But I'm sure everything will be taken care of. Ray our tech supervisor. Is taken great care of us. Thank you Ray .& his team.Much appreciated.

Came in contact with General RV at the Cleveland RV Show. The experience has been outstanding. This is my first Camper, and Angelina in financing, Jodie in operations, and Greg who did our walk through, made me feel at easy and answered every questions that I had. They really made this experience to be enjoyable instead of overwhelming.Thank you you Jodie, Angelina, and Greg for their patience and professionalism.

My salesman Andrew took his time to show us many units before we decided on the perfect rig. He was knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. There were a few issues when we went to pick up the 2023 Dutchman Yukon 412D. Between Mike in the service department, and Matt sales manager they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I wish I could remember the technician name, but he was very thorough, and corrected the issues in a timely manner. Definitely could tell they take pride in their jobs, and 100 % customer satisfaction is their goal. We definitely did not feel like just another number., more like family

We worked with Rusty who was able to get us our dream camper. Friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Allowed us to be comfortable and have a great experience. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

We recently purchased a new fifth wheel Rv. We went back and forth on what style of Rv would best fit our family over a few weeks and our sales person (Rob Klingelheber) was understanding and helpful throughout the entire experience. At the end of the day we got exactly what we needed and because of Rob we are now able to enjoy the summer in style. Thanks to the entire General RV staff! What a great experience!

I wood like to thank especially Greg our salesman, Matthew who filled in for Greg, Joey who kept making sure we were comfortable during our stay, Dave for explaining the rv, and last but no least Justin in finance.

We have just purchased our 2nd RV from General RV. Rob Still couldn t be any nicer & more professional. My wife & I are appreciative of how Rob gets to know his customers & treats you like a friend. In the event that you need the service department, Jordan is phenomenal. She is always friendly & her communication really keeps us apprised of our RV status. In my opinion, not only Rob & Jordan, but the whole North Canton staff are excellent to work with. Really nice to know, that even in a large business, you will be treated more than just a number.

Where to begin...I purchased a 2024 Santibel from these jokers and when I went to take delivery it was found that the trailer brakes did not work. After about three weeks it was determined that the solar (from the trailer) was backfeeding to the truck and was disabling the braking system. General RV blames the 2024 Denali 2500 because GM recognizes that the backfeeding disables the braking system and recommends disabling the solar. Forrest River does not approve General RV to disable the solar (likely because they are as incompetent as they come). Sales manager's solution is for me to trade the trailer in (for a loss) or they will deliver it.Absolute worst customer experience I have ever had in my entire life. Save yourself the trouble and go up the road to camping world.

K2 Claims Services bought an RV from General RV for a mobile office to deploy for Catastrophes. We service our policy holders when the home suffers damage from a Catastrophic event. Rob Klingelheber was so helpful in getting us what we needed. He has gone above and beyond to help us learn how to use the RV and make sure it is ready to deploy down to the next Hurricane, or natural disaster that effects our insureds. He is truly one of a kind and is upfront and honest. General RV has also been outstanding in helping us with storage until we could find a permanent place to store it. General RV and Rob are best in the business!!

You know, I wanted to love this place .. and I did love our salesman and the finance lady. But I have to say I was pretty dissatisfied in what I found after I paid a lot of money for our used camper. After we got it home and hooked up we found cabinets with doors that hinges were broken, a crack in the back of the fridge and the electric on our hot water tank didn t work. The money that it is costing us to resolve the water heater issue would make you sick. The moral of this story is, learn from my mistake. Be sure you open every single cabinet, check every nook and cranny and make sure that you insist on checking both the gas and the electric on the hot water tank BEFORE you purchase. I made the mistake of thinking that when you buy from a reputable company like General RV that you didn t have for worry about these things, but boy, that was a rookie mistake. I share this in hopes that it helps someone else make a more informed purchase. We do love our camper and we are grateful to have it, I just wish I would have been more thorough and negotiated down the price to include the repairs that I have to make.

I've bought 2 RVs from General RV and have used them for service since they're 10 min from my house. I would not recommend them based on my experience. Here are some examples:1. Our sales rep was really excited about the pricing she got approved for us in the showroom, then texted later the same day that there was a $5000 price increase that would apply to all units delivered to General RV after a certain date, but ended up selling us the same unit we toured on their lot, at the higher price.2. They charge approx $2000 to supposedly give it all a once-over to make sure it's ship shape, but the unit they sold us had been taken to a recent show and had stains on the front seats. They didn't seem to care and didn't offer solutions, just insisted it was as-is, even though I was buying new. Also, anywhere the manufacturer techs had done wiring or drilling their garbage was left in the cavities behind drawers, under the dinette seats, etc. For $2000 they could have taken a few min with a shop vac.3. I asked them to un-winterize it and they left the water heater bypassed, so when I turned on the water heater it blew the heating element. I could have double-checked this before turning on the water heater, but assumed I could trust them to do the job completely.4. Their sales agreement makes it crystal clear that General RV takes no responsibility for the condition or quality of the units they sell.5. There were a number of warranty repairs needed - not unexpected and not General RV's fault. However, getting these repairs done has been a mess. They forget to order parts for a repair, they order the wrong parts, the manufacturer sends the wrong parts, parts take months or over a year to arrive... Often it's not until I bring my RV in for my appointment that they realize the problem so I've been sent home.6. You're assigned a service person who's supposed to be the same each time, but they have so much turnover that it's a different person each time.7. Their software seems to run the show... The computer calls you when your parts arrive, then you call to schedule an appointment. Your service rep finds out your parts are in when you call them after the computer system calls you.I really want to say something positive... Their new service building has a nice waiting area with free beverages, and the people are pretty nice for the most part.

Right from our initial on the phone meeting with Rob Still in sales to walking into the Canton location this was a great experience. Helpful, professional and attentive. Outstanding experience every step of the way. If you're in the market for an RV you really need to do yourself a favor and talk to General RV. Thanks again!!

First of all they don t even deserve 1 star but unfortunately you have to start with at least 1. I purchased a pre owned camper last summer and after getting it to my lot I found extensive water damage. To GRV credit they said bring it in and let us take a look. For 4 months I wasn t sure if they were going to fix it or just buy it back. Finally I get a text they re going to fix the unit. 6 months later I finally get my camper back. The interior panels don t match, they used unfinished wood to replace the shelves. The shelves don t even sit flush and rock from one corner to the other. In the end I sure didn t end up with the same camper I bought. I lost 6 months of use as I own my lot in a 12 month park. Going forward I wouldn t buy a dog house from these people. They sold me a water damaged unit that in the end cost more to repair than I originally paid for it. Do yourselves a favor avoid my mistake and find you a dealer who actually does a thorough inspection on pre owned units. I could go on and on but Google only allows so many characters. BIG MISTAKE

Purchased our '16 Phaeton motorhome new from General RV in Canton. Have had all of my service work completed by them, which includes a couple of extended stays for larger repairs. Our overall experience has been excellent, our service writer, Daniel S., has been great to work with and I definitely recommend them highly.

If you are in the market for a new or used RV , there is no better place to go than General RV in North Canton. This is a RV dealership like no other that my wife and I have had the pleasure to work with. Our sales rep, Christina Good, is a true professional that is extremely knowledgeable and customer oriented. Give General RV a call or stop by and ask for Christina. In my opinion there is no better way to make your RV search a pleasurable experience.

The sales team at General RV was very good. Since we bought our camper six months ago, we have discovered how terrible the service department is. We immediately had trouble with our refrigerator not staying cold after being on for 18-24 hours. We noticed this on our first trip but it was only a few days so thought it would be better, which it wasn t. We were in Virginia Beach on the second trip and General RV told us to contact Keystone, it was their problem. Keystone offered to send a mobile unit to us because unfortunately our brand new truck had engine failure on the way there and we had no way to move our camper (thankfully the truck dealership in Va. Beach was awesome and got our truck fixed as soon as they received the part needed). We ended up taking our camper back to General RV to get the refrigerator fixed. They said it would need to stay at least 24-36 hours to have it checked. We agreed since it worked for the first day then would continuously warm up. They called that there was nothing wrong with the refrigerator and charged us over $200 for supposedly checking it on a brand new camper that retailed for over $100.000!!! They only left it on a few hours though claim they left it on longer but we saw nothing proving that since our first trip after and every trip after, the refrigerator got cold then warmed up within a day. They said we didn t know how to operate it! It isn t difficult to turn on and then said we needed to keep the door closed. We aren t stupid and the temperature would go up several degrees at night when no one opened the door for hours. My husband googled and ended up getting a fan and hopefully fixed it. This after dishing out over $300 to them and for the fan.We also had a recall but General RV in Canton had not registered our camper. Almost five months later , we received the recall notice. Canton General RV had told us we couldn t get it fixed until we had the letter. It wasn t our fault they didn t register it so actually that goes back to the buying process. There is so much more negativity-ex. Our sink cover broke in half on our second trip and they said it happens all the time and they would send a replacement. Months later, we still hadn t received it and when I asked about it they said we would have to pay for it! They had previously told us no charge! We refused and contacted Keystone again and it got paid for and sent to us within a few days.Becky in the service department, I am actually wondering if that is a real person because she is not intelligent and very rude in responses, sends texts, but only reads what she wants and responds aggressively and never answers questions asked.I have to say Canton General RV has put such a damper on our camper which we initially loved. I would never recommend dealing with them.

Sales did a very good job. Parts department refused to match prices with another general rv and service department charges for things they never did. I will give sales 5 stars and parts and service negative 100 stars. I will never step foot back in that general rv for anything.

We purchased our first motor home on October 6, 2023. It is a used 2016 Thor Quantum, and we knew we purchased it as is. There were a couple of minor things we found during the final walkthrough that General RV fixed - no questions asked - after reading some reviews, this surprised us, but we were happy. After taking the motor home out a few times, we found some issues with the electric and heating system that we felt could be safety issues - being new to owning a motor home, I wasn't too sure about the safety of using the propane anyway. We contacted General RV, and were very lucky to get assigned to Justin. He took the time to listen to all of our issues, and setup an appointment for a week later, and I informed him at that time that we had a short trip scheduled for two days later. Upon arriving at the appointment, Justin listened to all of our concerns and very kindly corrected us when it was just user error causing the problems - we expected a few things were our fault, so this was no surprise to us. It ended up that the inverter was bad and was causing the electrical issue, and a mouse decided the furnace and ducts was a good place to make its home which was causing the heating issues. What was supposed to be a wait type of appointment, turned into much more, and they needed to keep the motor home over night, but Just assured us they would have it in working condition by noon the next day so we could go away for the weekend. The inverter had to be ordered, so they did whatever they do (again, newbie here) to bypass the inverter since he knew we were hooking up to shore power on our trip. I believe the big portion of the job was making sure all of the mouse remnants were removed from the furnace and ducts, and they did an excellent job - including replacing pieces of that system. On top of all that, Justin worked with the sales department so they would cover the cost of these repairs even though we had bought the motor home as is, which was a very nice surprise - he did tell us they were only able to do that because we brought the problems to their attention quickly and they were obviously pre-existing issues. We could not be happier, and were able to enjoy one last short trip prior to winter hitting thanks to Justin and the team at General RV.
