Had a mobile mechanic try and to do a crankshaft position sensor, got it stuck in the block and i couldn t make it 4 hours I came to York and they were completely friendly and understanding. They stopped what they had going on to help me and get me back on the road to my family. I truly appreciate them and highly recommend them for your every mechanical need. They are my go to mechanic shop now when I m in town and need something done. Truly appreciate them and everything they did for me!

Took it there for a transmission flush and said it wouldnt be over 200$ but turned out to be 450$ and then said my transmission was bad and trued to ovee price used transmission for more than a brandnew one and when I picked it up to take it to a different place to get rebuilt there was more problems with it then when it got there has a oil leak now and my doors to my car won t unlock

Flat tire at 5:30am, called into Yorks, they got there quick as possible and got my car rolling again. Wonderful people, super helpful and kind. Definitely recommend this shop!

York s had my truck in his shop bc my alternator was over heating, he went through all of my wires and multiple other components of the truck to find out my glow plugs were not shutting off, he had 6 hours of work put in and only made me pay for about 4 1/2 hours. He explained everything to me step by step and welcomed me into his shop to talk about everything anytime I came to check up, I ve gone to him multiple times when in need of out of my hands help and I recommend York s auto, to anyone. He s very respectful and only expects the same from his customers.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

My car started making a terrible noise suddenly while driving. Had it towed to York s. Frank looked it over and explained the spark plugs were corroded and shot through the head! Worse case scenario was about $2400. However, he was able to remove the spark plugs in much less time and he did a tune up as well. All for $700. He explained all he had done and guaranteed his work for 2 years. It is so refreshing to have a knowledgeable mechanic that I trust! I highly recommend York s.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They not only checked and fixed the brakes but also pointed out things I should keep an eye on. He was very good at explaining everything so that I knew was going on. He also caught some issues that my last mechanic didn't fix. They just gained a new customer with me.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Called at 330 pm to have an estimate done. Cash money in hand to have the work done. When the women answered. She was laughing as she said her mechanic had just gone to lunch to call back in a half hour. Well tried on 4 different occasions same night and what do you know no answer. $1800 job lost. I will make sure to never come to your shop again and tell everyone.

Have called on multiple actuations and they never have a mechanic in or return your calls when they say they will. Can't even give you a idea on a price when you tell them what needs fixed.
