Had to go with my father today to renew his license, place was pretty busy. I m glad I went with him because he wouldn t have been able to fill out the check in process, it s not a very user friendly system for the elderly. That being said, my review is mainly for the girl that helped us, Leanna, she spoke slowly and loudly enough for him to hear most of what she said. She was VERY patient and understanding. THANK YOU!

The people here and especially in the title dept. are so helpful and nice. I had been to several BMVs in Ohio over time, and this one stands out for customers care professionalism. I would drive out of town, just to goto this one.

I purchased a used snowmobile that still had a registration that was good on it until Dec. 31, 2024 so went to the Sidney BMV to transfer the registration to myself. However, this office refused to simply transfer the balance of the existing registration and insisted that I purchase a brand new three year registration, which cost me $36.25 instead of a $6 transfer fee. I explained to Alisha, my clerk, that I have transferred registrations recently at the Greenville and Troy BMV offices without an issue but she wasn t hearing it. She, and another clerk, both said they were wrong. I asked them to call the BMV office in Columbus but they refused stating it would make them mad . I was worn down so resolved to take the new stickers as my time is more valuable than fighting with this office further or going to another location. Still angers me, though. Typical inept, ill-trained staff that gives the BMV their well deserved reputation.

The women there were all so kind and helpful. I had a particularly hard time renewing my license because of documents needed after a name change. Kathy made conversation and was very empathic. They all seemed to have great attitudes, and made what usually is a dreadful experience, a positive experience.

The staff are very nice and helpful, and efficient I was in there for like 15 minutes got called on, out of there in less than 2, granted I was getting new plates and tags but still. A nice place if you are trying to get in do what you need and get out. 10/10

I went to renew tags for 2 vehicles and get a compliant drivers license. I "got in line online" but they weren't as busy as I thought they would be and stepped right up to the counter. Staff was friendly. Super friendly. They worked together to get me in and out as quickly as possible. Best experience at the BMV I think I ever had. Great job, ladies.

Went with wife to renew driver's license, it was clean and they were staying on top of wiping everything off after each person. Young lady was very courteous, moved pretty quick. Alittle different from what it was set up before. Be patient and wear your mask. Everyone in there was.:)

This facility was very organized. All the staff, especially the Manager was very friendly and helpful. It didn't take that long to be waited on. I had a very good experience going there today. I recommend everyone to take their BMV business to this branch.

The best experience I have EVER had! 10/10 would recommend using this place. It was busy, I registered and sat in my car then received a text telling me to go in and wait to hear my name or number. I was in and out in 10 mins.

Its kind of set up backwards you sign in on the other side of the room and alot of the older people needed help signing in not know how to use the computer system.I helped 6 people sign in because they was so confused. Other than that it went pretty fast I was there about 45 minutes to get new sticker and new photo id.

6 girls behind the counter2 working. 2 discusses what they want for lunch. I lady stopped waiting on a customer join conversation . 4 people waiting , . Customer service not a priority tdd it

I was renewing my car plates. They registered tags for my motorcycle instead. I didn't catch it until after the sticker was on my plate for a week. Bmv said they could only exchange if I brought back the old sticker. Needless to say the sticker wouldn't come off in one piece. More like in small pieces. So they charged me full price for a car sticker. Always check the top of the sticker to make sure it matches your plate before applying the sticker or you could be like me and pay twice. How this helps someone

Everything was fine until they denied a personalized license plate that I wanted to run and the tag had been issued out before The guy had it his wife said I could run it cuz he had passed away and the ladies at the DMV said they probably wouldn't let me run it because what they thought it stood for and that is not what it stood for

The employees there are not educated on what documents are needed and what is not needed for registering your out-of-state vehicle. I have been trying to register my car for the past month. When I went last week, they failed to tell me that I had to get my out-of-state title transferred to a OH title. They could have told me that weeks prior when I was there when they told me I could get a Power of Attorney faxed there. I was then told they can't accept faxed POA's, but I can email it to them? THEN, I'm told it has to be a physical copy. 3 different employees told me 3 different versions! I finally got everything that I needed, and I am NOT going back. I will be taking my business to a different BMV.

Horrible. When you go inside, you sign in and the computer says"the lobby is full please wait outside". Then they call your name and skip you, because you're outside. Noone will move off their seat.

Welcome to the future, where bills now are paperless, so no Karen, I don't have a paper statement, it's online, why is it so hard to get a flipping ID, I swear everyone that works here is miserable and just can't wait to ruin others day.

I went here on a Saturday and as busy as they were , they took my info down on a clipboard , sent me to my vehicle to wait for them to call ...I waited maybe 15 minutes got the call and was in & out of BMV within 10 minutes - this particular BMV seems to know what they're doing !

Observing safe distancing, expect a wait, they're attending costomers ahead of entering for service's, to be sure proper paperwork is to be presented, doing the best they can under the circumstances, please have proper documentation

I had a great experience here!!! I ve been to othe BMV and had a horrible experience. All the workers were very friendly and helpful!! Thanks Sarah !! I will continue to use this BMV now!!!
