We bought a brand new 2020 SUV and within a month something busted a hole in my windshield. Being a brand new model and with Covid-19 limiting the supply chain, no windshields were available in the entire continental US. Even my dealership couldn't get one. I had to wait approximately 7weeks for a replacement to arrive from overseas. During this time their office was communicative, helpful, and professional. They even stored my vehicle inside their shop the entire time because I didn't have a place to keep it out of the weather. Once they received the glass they had it installed and back to me the next day. Would highly recommend, excellent service.Service: Auto windshield replacement

These guys are awesome!!! We needed a new back window for my husband's Acadia. I called Saturday and they came to the house and installed it in just a couple of days. That included having to order the window!! Quick, efficient, quality work. I highly recommend Glass Guys!!

There are two glass company's in the Sidney, Ohio area: Gates Brothers, and Hemm's Glass. I chose Gates Brothers over Hemm's Glass because I've always seen Hemm's as being more of an industrial, not as personable, company. Gates has been around for 70ish years, and I've never heard anything bad about them.I called Gated Brothers Glass in Sidney, Ohio to get a glass door and stationary glass panel for a custom shower I put in my house. I spoke with Tom Gates II. Initially, communication was great with e-mails; getting things right sending pictures to him and giving him the rough dimensions. He sends me a sketch, pictures of hardware, and an estimate. He even gets me a deal on a door they had in their warehouse that was left over from some other job where it wasn't quite right for that job. All looks great. He sent someone out to measure and check plumb/level. They came and measured. About a month goes by and I've heard nothing from them at this point, so I call the Sidney office. I leave a message with the secretary for Tom to return my call as I was advised he was unavailable at the moment. I never received a call back from Tom or anybody else so I tried calling again. This time Tom answers, and informs me they just wanted to make sure everything was "just right with this job." Mind you it's been just shy of 2 months since the guy came and measured at this point. Another two weeks and nothing, so I tried contacting Tom via e-mail. He replied, simply asking, "What is the job site address? I thought I had info on that, but can't find." Ok, so I gave him my address again. I heard nothing for another week, so I left a couple more messages with the Sidney office secretary again. I even stopped in twice. One of those times, I could hear Tom in a nearby office talking on the phone. The secretary acted as if she didn't want me waiting for Tom to get off the phone so I, one again, left my contact information (as if she didn't already know who I was). I even asked her if Tom was receiving the messages, which she said he was. Another week goes by so I e-mailed and told them if they lost my job information, they were welcome to come back out and re-measure. No reply was ever received whether it be through telephone or e-mail.If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would have. The professionalism level of Tom II, for being someone who heads up this division of a 70 year old renowned company, is ridiculously poor. If they didn't want to do the job, they should've just said that instead of leading me on.
