I have called this station several times throughout the week for information regarding my acquisition of the HazMat endorsement on my CDL. Throughout the week I could.not get anyone to pick up. My calls simply were not answered. This morning I attempted to call and the phone was picked up and laid beside a computer as I could hear keys tapping and muffled voices (apparently tired of the phone ringing but not interested in answering). So I drove from butler to newark about an hour drive only to be informed that due to rule changes I am no longer eligible to take the hazmat exam until I attend a truck driving school. Information that I may have been given if someone had answered the phone instead of wasting 2 hours of my time.

I go to Newark because the lines are shorter and you are treated like a normal person. Two of our children went to Newark and two went to north Columbus. I would go to Newark every time.

Never thought I'd rate the drivers exam station but they were so nice... they deserve the credit. Some other counties were nasty to my daughter and made her very anxious for the test. They were super nice.

The area where you take the permit/driving test gets you in really quick. The actual BMV itself is a nightmare. It stays so busy that sometimes there's no seating available. I took both my daughters there to take the test, and then drove to the Pataskala BMV for the actual permit. There's rarely a wait time in Pataskala. I wish they had an exam station there because you can literally drive to Pataskala, get your business done, and drive back to Newark before they'd even get to your number.

Longest wait EVER at a BMV and not that busy. Don't know if clerks are just super slow (it is Newark, lol) but OMG. Avoid if at all possible.

Driver's exam station is redecules!!!!! The staff is very crusty and unfriendly I was in to get my test and the first 30 feet I got accused of talking when I was chewing gum, never said a word!!!! failed my test before I even had a chance!! They are very pathetic , I'd never advise anyone to go there if you want to have any cooperation!!!!!!!!!

The exam folks were great. I was disappointed in the 2 hour wait in the BMV to get my license.

This place is always busy .plan on being there waiting an hour and a half or longer.GET MORE HELP !!!!Fill all the windows up smdh

Wait forever...go in pick a number and go get lunch ,wash your car ,get your haircut and come back and still wait.title office is a breeze no waiting there.
