Bad experience on this guy he asked 300 dol for 2 hours work and the worst part is my car wont run but im drivin that car everyday and infact i bring it therJust some issues on electric and he made it worst

Ron is a gem - I'm sure he could rebuild anything electrical, has a heart of gold, & has got more stories than the brothers Grimm! Every experience I've had with this shop has been quick and professional... I'd highly recommend Newark Auto Electric for any potential electrical issue with your vehicle & you won't be disappointed!

The crew is honest and experienced. Owner offered to sell me one of his personal trucks. And gave me a lot of free knowledge. And price was very reasonable. Overall can t complain

He worked all day to get my car running. I m almost 70 and he was the most thoughtful person I could have meet. Very knowledgeable when working on my car. I don t usually write reviews but I had to in this case, I would recommend taking a car to him and I couldn t give him high enough review. If you need work done , take your car there, you won t be sorry. God has a special place in heaven for him.Service: Electrical

awesome!! we are so happy with the service here!! was able to get actual estimate information on the phone before dropping our alternator off -- almost unheard of! usually a place will only tell you 'they'll have to look at it to know', Ron took the time to give us an idea of how much it would cost based on what might be wrong, and then after we did bring it in, the cost actually reflected his quotes -- again, almost unheard of in the auto repair industry! He was super nice in general, and we would gladly go back anytime we need something he can fix.

Apparently a shop full of light bulb polishers. Seems they are extremely limited in scope only accepting easy money maker jobs they can get out the door quick. Dealing with a receptionist who seems very unknowing who has to constantly break the call to ask someone else was very annoying.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Fixed my alternator for $100 and it took less than 2 days. Highly recommend to anyone having electrical issues with their vehicle

RON IS GREAT. He's honest and does quality work. I brought in my wife's Malibu with what I thought was a bad door lock actuator. He didn't think it was the actuator and suggested some other things I could try if the problem came back. But he didn't want to charge me and fix something that wasn't broke. He could've charged me parts labor and then some but didn't. It's hard to find that kind of honesty these days.

As the name implies, Newark Auto Electric specializes in vehicle electrical systems. Their work covers compact cars to 18-wheelers, motorcycles, farm equipment, lawn and garden equipment, heavy equipment and marine equipment. They can test and replace components rather than entire assemblies. The bulk of their work seems to be rebuilding starters and alternators. You can save literally hundreds of dollars having them rebuild your alternator rather than buying a replacement and it will be original equipment rather than an aftermarket item. Their work sometimes goes beyond just electrical items. In all dealings with them, I have always gotten same day service. Any doubts or questions, they re just a phone call away. Friendly and outstanding customer service. Their work has always been first rate. The bad news: no weekend hours.

Went in to repair 3g ford alternator rather than buying a reman unit. Ron was able to fix it while I waited! Get service and uses quality repair parts. Highly recommended

Dropped my car off saturday due to brakelight and turn signal malfunctions and they werent open til monday and it took 2 1/2 hours and pricing is better than most my car has been fixed

They are busy, but know what they are talking about. Even the receptionist/scheduler correctly identified my problem and suggested the correct solution.
