I would just like to say wow!!! What an awesome local business. Ambrose went above and beyond to get me into the truck I wanted. He made everything seamless and easy. This is also a family owned and operated business which makes it even more worth it. To see his team/ family in action was nothing short of amazing! 10/10 . 5 stars would definitely recommend. Every vehicle on the lot look well maintained and priced to sell. Thank you golden rule auto for getting me another work vehicle for my business on the road!

I had a wonderful experience with Golden Rule Auto. I got my Nissan Car during the start of this year. This was my first Car and I got a lot of help from Golden Rule Auto before making the decision. They provided me with all the documentation and gave me enough time to review and make decisions. Also, they extended their work hours so that I can come and see the car since I wasn't local to Columbus. They were very kind, generous and friendly!! The Day when I bought my car, I drove to Columbus in a rental car and was getting late to drop off the car at the rental office ( which was 5 miles away from the auto center ), but Fortunately Owners Mom was visiting him so she came along with us to drop off the rental car and got us back to Golden Rule Auto Office. The only reason I wanted to share this story is to let you know that they treat you as a Family!! That was a very Kind Gesture from her and I am Thankful to the Golden Rule Auto Family for being so nice !!

I have had the best experience with Golden Rule Auto. They don t pressure you into anything. They re very open and honest. They work with some great lenders in order to get you the best available pricing. They have a great selection of vehicles. If they do not have a vehicle you want, they will find it for you! Best dealership in the Midwest!!!

Had my 2008 Accord LX-P for a few months now. AMBROSE was extremely nice and helpful. So what's his assistant. Sorry I didn't review right away. I wanted to get a full experience of the car. I am in love with this car. have had no issues what so ever with the car at all. Clean, runs well, no check engine, new tires. Car in great condition. And the pricing was cheap and reasonable. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE AWESOME EXPERIENCE. I have referred a few friends since I had the car to your lot.

Ambrose and his family are great people. They are very very helpful and respectful my 2016 legacy is clean outside inside under the hood and without a spec of rust on the frame my family has bought three cars from them with no complaints or problems if you need a high quality pre owned vehicle give them a call. A 4 hour drive was well worth it to me

DONT BUT THE 2009 AUDI WAGON.THE FUEL SYSTEM IS BROKE...THE TURBO HAS NO BOOST. THERE ARE NUMEROUS THINGS WRONG. THE LEFT BRAKE IS LOCKED. THE STERRING WHEEL IS CROOKED. THE BACK HATCH DOWSNT OPEN..IT HAS A BACK UP KEY. THE FUEL REGULATOR IS BROKE. NUMEROUS CODES ON THE DIAGNOSTICS. DONT BUY!!!!

I was considering purchasing a Dodge Challenger from here but due to the distance and finding another car I did not. BUT I wanted to write a review because I bugged Ambrose so much about the Challenger and he was always gracious and professional. He even worked out to come down on the price of the car but we were already in the process of getting another one. I have spoken with many car dealerships, large and small, and Ambrose is on the top of the list for his professionalism and kindness. Never once did he get rude with me for bugging him so much and I did! If you are looking for a place you'll be treated fairly and with kindness, I highly recommend Golden Rule Auto sales and Ambrose!

Their "Golden Rule" is more like "screw unto others as you would have them screw unto you". Lady was there who said she was the owner but could not answer any basic questions or accept my cash offer. She stated that I would have to wait for her son to show up but she had no idea when he would be there. I did a test drive and left my number but no one ever returned my call. They lost a sale. I had cash in hand. Vehicle was not in that good of condition. Had a broken windshield. That did not seem to make a difference to them. I did not know that a used vehicle dealer was legally allowed to sell a vehicle with a broken windshield but I was going to take it. Also had turn signals not working.

I purchased a used 2013 Mazda CX-5 from Ambrose around 3 months ago. I bought it knowing there was an issue with the blind spot monitors in the mirrors as well as blown out speakers. Turns out that after about 3 months of owning it, I ve had to spend a little over $2,000 in random repairs, not including the speakers or BSM sensors. By my understanding this place probably purchases used cars from auctions to resell without fixing up every problem. Make sure that if you re going to buy from them you take someone that knows a lot about cars. Yes it was a fair price and yes they were nice people, but there were just some issues with the car itself that I wasn t aware about.

I had a very good experience with Golden Rule Auto. They were nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. They got back to me and answered all my questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. And most importantly they worked with me and helped me get into a great vehicle.

I bought a car there almost a year ago. AC didn't work but I figured that that was a simple fix. When winter hit, I learned that the whole heating/AC mechanism had been gutted/removed and replacement was over $2200. So, I tried to trade the car in and it's value was $600. I paid over $8000.Golden Rule Auto contacted me after very soon after this review, asking for photos. I immediately sent photos of the problem to confirm the issue. I have had no response since then.

He was open on Sunday, which suited my busy schedule. Other than routine maintenance the vehicle has needed nothing save for a $50 sensor that I was able to do myself. Ambrose was honest about the vehicles condition, he handed me a Carfax report and the keys as soon as I showed up for the test drive. He answered every question I had while maintaining a zero pressure sales environment. The sale went smoothly and he stayed in contact after the sale to iron out a few small issues. I would buy another car from Golden Rule Auto and Ambrose.

Got a nice deal. We were greeted by nice people. Took test drive to auto zone. Found issue with car. Golden Rule Auto dropped the price, had his mechanic, also nice guy, fix the problem, put a new battery in remote.. We walked out paying less than asking price (tax, title and 45 day tag included). Car very clean. We were taken care for and happy with our deal. Now we are watching their lot for another vehicle we may want to purchase

Friendly fast service and we love our truck.Back 2 weeks later for a review update. We have a misfire issue that had to ha e been going on at the lot bc we were getting check engine light there but couldn't figure out the code. We now know misfire. Also the motor mounts are bad. So right off the rip of getting truck home we've had to dump 500+ into it to fix stuff.

Ambrose and everyone went above and beyond to help me get into a truck . I looked for a truck for at least 6 months and talked with multiple dealers and they all tried to sell me some junk saying thats all I could be approved for cause I have no credit. From the first conversation till deal was final I didn't feel any pressure . He even gave me 24 hours to have my mechanic look at it. Very happy with the experience and would recommend to anyone .

I purchased a 2012 jeep grand cherokee from golden rule auto and i must say I am impressed. Very nice people and they are honest. I love my jeep. If I ever get another vehicle I will go through them. I definitely recommend them.

The reason I m rating this as high as I am is because I do not believe that Ambrose was trying to sell me something he didn t think would work. He was a great guy to work with in the process of buying a car.However.After less than a week of having the car I ran to to some issues; I took it to a shop to get looked over. They estimated the cost of everything that was wrong would be about 1200 to fix; turns out there were a few other issues happening under the car, a caliper issue, shocks, tires, power steering leaking etc. Contacted Ambrose his mechanic fixed the immediate issues. Cheaply and quickly.About two weeks later some issues came back. Since these issues had just been fixed by his mechanic I thought it would be best to get it looked at by someone else. They couldn t even get a tire off because of the way it had been fixed Now is was an estimated 1500 to fix because of the extra labor that would have to go into undoing whatever the previous guy had done.I had to go out of town and ended up leaving my car behind- the whole reason I bought the car I did was for my job and travel- I returned two weeks ago and within a week the car was overheating and smoking. I m told that it is likely a water pump issue. (Due to the pandemic and my job it has been hard to get my car looked at)I ve only been able to drive the car a handful of times in the three months I ve had it. And by that I mean 12. I ve driven the car 12 times.That s with his mechanic fixing it.If I am in town I don t drive often. So I ve found it extremely frustrating that every time I have started the car something new seems to happen.I m about to sell the thing for half of what I bought it for just to be done with it.So basically, don t have his mechanic fix it.Have someone who really knows cars go with you.*if you think the breaks feel soft and you bring it up and they say they were just checked out don t trust it.**test drive at a time that you are able to go above 60mph

Went in for a 2008 Hummer H3 with the Adventure Package. They were polite, kind and had a lot of patience. Paperwork was explained in detail. Very easy and exciting purchase!! Thank you Golden Rule Auto!!
