Our camper refrigerator went out, so we searched around and called JD's, Jeff told us he has a 'NEW' fridge that he bought a year ago, as a replacement for ours that broke, too expensive to repair. He will hook it up to a battery so we can see it works. We agreed to come look at it. He was conveniently not available in day light. When we got there at night, the fridge was in a poorly lit garage, I asked him where the battery is so we can check that it works, long stories why there wasn't a battery to check it, he agreed to write on the sale receipt that he guarantees that it will work or he will come out and repair it. We let the fridge stand for the evening so everything can settle after transporting it. Next morning we connect everything to see if it works, and what do you know! Nothing! Upon checking inside, in the day light, it looks terrible! Yellow stained, rusted...not what I would call a one year old fridge! We phoned him to tell him it doesn't work. No answer, I phone from my number, no answer. Eventually my husband got a hold of him and he tells us he won't he able to come out until sometime next week. We just paid $500 for a broken, old refrigerator that doesn't work! We need a fridge now! This was also one of those "as is " buys so he won't even give us our money back! So we just got F*cked in other words!

I just had my new AC and furnace installed by Jeff, and I highly recommend him and his company. He came out and did an AMAZING job! He showed up when he said he would, and I am so thankful that I found his company I will be a loyal customer for years to come

Jeff was called to repair my bathroom floor, but as they pulled up the floor we discovered A LOT of other problems. They took it in stride and promised me that they would fix everything good as new. That's exactly what they did. My bathroom is completely awesome! They ran into a lot of extra work and did a GREAT JOB! Came back to replace my furnace with a new one and it also is great. Very friendly and understanding of my overnight work hours. Always showed up and returned phone calls and texts. Everything done in a very timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone. Great job guys!

I was extremely happy with the service my family received. I called on a Saturday night and Jeff arrived on Sunday morning to fix our ac unit. He was very knowledgeable and his price was better than any other service providers we ve worked with in the past. We are very satisfied customers!! He has earned our future business, we will definitely be repeat customers!!

I spent a half hour calling heating repair businesses. The cold snap just recently hit so everyone was either backed up and couldn t fit us in right away or weren t even answering their phones. Jeff returned my phone call right away. He didn t promise anything but just a voice on the phone was a comfort we might get this resolved by the weekend.He called back less than an hour later, in the area. He fixed it immediately. Made a couple recommendations to maintain the system in the future. I figured my switches were getting old. He gave me a fair price to return and repair in the next few days. In the meantime, we finally have heat in the house.The negative reviews confuse me. Several mention not answering a phone call I am confused how someone can receive a poor rating by not even answering the phone.Some of these reviews don t even apply to HVAC. Maybe Jeff is a jack of all trades? I d have preferred to read just heating cooling reviews. Thankfully I didn t read reviews before I hired him. My tenant would probably still be suffering strep throat in a house without heat.Nor do I feel ripped off. I m aware what my parts will cost for his return visit. Thanks Jeff for under promising and over delivering.

I have used Jeff for my heating and cooling needs for many years now. He has installed new central A/C units and furnaces in my home and my parents home also. Just had him service my A/C and he always does a good job, he always answers my calls or returns them promptly. Guy was super nice and I totally forgot to give him the rating he deserves. My furnace was having issues shutting off so I reached out to him. He was not able to service my area, but literally walked me through everything I needed to check and I was able to fix it because of him. Amazing that an owner would take his time just to walk someone through something instead of charging them to come out for the same thing. A lot of respect! You'd be crazy not to support this business owner

JD was extremely helpful! Very knowledgeable and patient with helping to figure out the issue with my furnace. Extremely reasonably priced and easy to work with. Late in the evening our house was cold and getting colder with the furnace not working had no obvious issues other than it wasn't getting power to the thermostat. It was very impressive that JD could diagnose the complex issue as fast as he did just proving his expertise and knowledge. I would recommend to anyone!

My AC was out during a heatwave. Had been told that I needed complete new system that would take several days to obtain. Called Jeff and he had current system repaired in less than 24 hours at a fraction of the cost. I will definitely call on him again!

Jeff is a goodhearted man. My wife and I appreciated his expertise at such an affordable price. It seems to us that he genuinely is interested in helping people in need---which is so refreshing. His wealth of 40+ years of experience is clearly apparent. I would highly recommend his services. Thumbs up!

No call No show. When I called to follow-up, I was told another job was more important and once it was finished the tech would be by. In addition, I was promised updates and never received one. I called to secretary and explained I had no heat or AC she said she's update Jeff. 4 more hours went by and I called Jeff only to be told off and informed they weren't going to service my AC. Very unprofessional company that I would never recommend to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and find another company.

They did great. I called mid morning and explained my problem. They said they would come out in a few hours. Got busy with other things which is completely understandable. I called back at 5 to see if they were still going to come out. He owned up to forgetting and appolgised multiple times. They came out about 6pm that same day and fixed the problem fast. Ill be using them again if needed. Very personable and seem like a good company. Thanks again.

Called Saturday morning for air repair. He came out the same day, within a few hours, and provided excellent service at a low cost. He also followed up the next day to ensure everything was still working properly. I would definitely recommend him. Thanks for a job well done!!

5/13/2018. You do what you have to, I don t care Jeff, 5/13/2018.Avoid at all costs; unprofessional and unskilled. Charged $3,000.00 to repair coolant lines and recharge a single family home system; unit never functioned after he touched it. He will avoid your calls, insult you and hang up on you even if you are having a calm conversation. Go with a reputable business that is bonded and insured.Accepted a job in Fall 2017 and began work Spring 2018. Unable to complete basic pipe repair/soldering and recharge on a single family residential unit. It took Jeff over a month to complete work and considered this job complete although the unit was incapable of holding charged coolant. He is unable to perform basic copper pipe soldering or sheet metal work; he ran out of solder while attempting to join one pipe section and took a week to attempt to finish the job; which he didn t.I placed a phone call to him today to discuss any possible options and his response was that he was upset that I called him on mother s day. A small business owner should be able to work with customers during normal (non holiday) hours and Jeff is not able to.The one call I placed to him resulted in him insulting me and hanging up on me saying you do what you have to, I don t care . Customer reviews are critical in the service industry and Jeff neither respects or cares about his reputation. Choosing a service provider is ultimately up to the customer, and a key method to inform potential clients are prior customer reviews.The choice is yours.William.

Today my furnace wo..ke us up very cold. Call Jeff got here very promptly got t running. Still have heat this evening. Ordered new part. Jeff always does good work last year he installed my new dishwasher. He's prices are very affordable. Very thankful I have his number. And he usually answers.

JD helped us so much when our furnace went out over this cold weekend. He was very responsive and always offered to help. Also very reasonable and very knowledge able (Our furnace is very old and had broken down three other times thanks to Accurate's wonderful work). JD was able to come in and right off the bat tell us what was wrong with it and help up fix it, all for a reasonable price. Definitely worth it, he works hard at what he does!

This company is 100 % professionalism. Very professional very knowledgeable. They care about people not just the old Mighty Dollar they treat you like family there was no drama no attitude just pure professionalism. Seemed like he knew the problem before he even walked up to the furnace and that was all because he listen to me not just look at you like he was listening like most companies. I wish they were thousands of more companies like this. Called for an quote showed up a day late. Still gave him the benefit of the doubt. Was told I was going to get a call later that week and heard nothing. Called him three times, left a message each time. When he finally called me back two days later my service was bad and lost connection. When I got service back he called again and left a very rude and unacceptable message for a business. Would not recommend JD's.Ended up going through accurate - price was the same and he was out the day I called, sent me the quote the next day, and will be out within the next week to complete the job.

JD came to my house at a time that was convenient for me because i work night shift and gave me straight forward information on why my lines were freezing and my A/C was failing. 30 minutes later he was done servicing my home and gave me a very fair price that i don't think i could beat anywhere else local. I would recommend him to anyone.

Jeana Thompson-JD was called after a Brown's Plumbing wanted to take my bathtub out and cut a large hole in the floor. JD went under the house and accessed the damage of busted plumbing pipe damage from the freezing and thawing in February weather. He spent five hours in the nasty mess in very cold day but completed the repair without tearing up my entire bathroom. I had my bathroom back and everything is working great. I would recommend him to everyone I know. My repairs were at a reasonable price.Signed Jeana Thompson

Jeff at J D's Heating and Cooling of New Vienna is worth zero stars. He billed me for a motor and a fan for an air conditioning unit, but never replaced them. At another home he twisted a copper wire and on his bill he stated that he had fixed it. He fixed it so well that an new A C unit had to be installed. I have pictures. We had 21 conversations in a month's time to get the repairs with one excuse after another as to why he didn't have the parts or why he wasn't there to replace what he said was wrong. During our last conversation he called me a " f----ing broad" -- only he didn't spell it out. Avoid him. This is Jody Rolfe using Dawn's computer.

Jeff upgraded our AC unit and did a great job! The new unit, unlike the old one, doesn't run all day and keeps our home at a comfortable temperature. I definitely plan to have Jeff and his team do more work for our family.

Absolutely the craziest man I've ever met! Called him on a Wednesday for a travel trailer roof replacement & hail damage repairs estimate. He promised to be out Saturday morning, didn't show, didn't call. Sunday he explained that he'd had a sunstroke & had to go to the hospital Saturday afternoon, that's why he didn't show or call. However, they released him the same night so he'd be over Sunday afternoon. Again, no showing, no calls. Finally Sunday night he returned my call to say he'd be by Monday before 12:00, he really wants to do the job and get an estimate to me. By 1:30 Monday still again, not showing & return calls, his vm box is full. Monday at 2:30 he calls, with the story he's been calling me and was in the area. Honestly don't believe he even stopped. Said he'd have an estimate by Wednesday, of course he didn't. Said he needs till Saturday, again he didn't have it but promised to have it ready the following Monday 8-9 pm. He gave me his address & said it would be taped to the door. So, at 8:30 I drive 40 minutes to his house to pick up estimate. He comes out screaming, yelling it's still not ready, and he's not Walmart. Seriously, I wouldn't have driven 40 minutes each way if he didn't tell me it'd be ready. So, I patiently asked when it may be ready and like a mad man he starts jumping yelling "it's only been 2 weeks, we can't work together, now get off my property before I," Shocked I didn't stay to hear the rest of the cussing & threats. This man can't remember which lie he's told you minute by minute. He needs mental help, and put away from the public with his scary violent rages. He doesn't need the work, he needs a padded cell. This creep needsto be out of business!

My A/C quit working in my RV on the start to this holiday weekend and they walked me through fixing it on the phone. I know he is swamped but he took the time to walk me through what the A/C was doing and not doing until we figured out it was a breaker that didn t look like it was tripped. Great service and very professional on the phone. I ll call them for my mobile RV needs!

Call this guy you make the biggest mistake of your life. Was suppose to install an HVAC system over the summer. Took weeks to get him to begin the work while the weather was very hot. Kept saying he would be out but never showed multiple times. Wasn't new and not installed correctly. But he did collect $4,500 from a senior citizen. Must enjoy taking advantage of senior citizens. Another installer had to come in. Quote "This thing never would have worked, not installed correctly, and parts are not new".
