We had one of our best vehicle purchase transactions to date. Our salesman, Nathan Metz, went above and beyond for us. He was easy to work with, was an excellent communicator, and was a genuinely nice guy. The finance department was knowledgeable and top notch with processing our loan. The gentleman helping us was efficient, and the paperwork was signed as quickly as possible. We didn't feel pressure to purchase extra warranties or upgrades, and that was a relief. The entire experience was excellent. We would return again to purchase a vehicle from this dealership.

Avoid buying from this dealership. Bad business and disappointing to the fullest extent. We bought a new Ford Explorer and discovered within 24 hours that there was an attempt to cover up a bumper issue. The paint was chipping off, necessitating a full bumper replacement. The owner declined to cover the full cost, offering only a partial amount. This was clearly not our fault. They sold us a vehicle with a visible issue and refused to fully address it. We have paid $2,200 to fix a car that supposedly had no issues and was new. We tried to exchange the car and the dealership would not agree. Also, when looking at the reviews, notice they only respond to the positive ones.

Great honest salesperson. Arranged for the truck I was looking at to be taken to a third party inspection prior to sale. I didn't end up buying the vehicle based on the inspection but he was so understanding and there was no pressure. I would definitely recommend looking here for a vehicle.

our salesman Brian was really helpful for my car buying experience, I drove around two hours to look at the vehicle and before showing we kept in close contact with each other. He answered or found an answer to each of my questions and i m extremely happy with the purchase. The only recommendation I could make would to set an appointment to look at the car or call multiple times before coming in especially if driving a long distance, the cars go quick!

Had a good time finding my pickup truck and working with Nate even while I was on a vacation. It was helpful to get timely responses and figure out how I to get the deal done. Then meeting everyone at the dealership was great and everyone was very kind and helpful. Overall, worked out very well and I ve been very pleased!

I was so fortunate that Deiter was my salesman, He got me all the information I needed, did a little research for me to make sure it was exactly what I needed, made the process effortless and was just a fun professional person to deal with. Just purchased a great truck from this dealership. Randy and the whole team went above and beyond during the purchase process. They were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. All phone calls/inquiries were returned in a timely manner. The final deal was extremely fair. Thank you for a positive truck buying experience.

Great place ! Waiting room furniture needs replaced( felt like I was sitting on the floor). Otherwise they have always been outstanding! Been coming here about six years now. Can be a little pricey.

We came all the way from lansing for this car and it was worth it! Deiter was extremely helpful throughout the whole process! He made buying a new car simple and smooth. My favorite part about this dealership was nobody was salesy / pushy. They let us look around and test drive the car at our own pace.

Tanner here at Derrow Shirkey ford was amazing help! Tanner helped us in finding our perfect truck from the time we sent the email to the second we walked in the doors at the storefront! When we arrived tanner had the truck ready to go and we were able to test drive almost immediately after our long drive. Couldn t have asked for a better dealer and better yet a better salesman! Tanner is the man and he helped us get in our new used truck not just because we wanted a truck but because we needed one for our scuba diving journeys!Thanks again Tanner and derrow shirkey team

Fantastic ExperienceDrove in from out of town to find something from the "as is" lot for our new driver. Deiter helped me out and was nothing but fantastic. He was personable, patient, and friendly. After deciding on which car to go with, finalizing price and paperwork was a breeze. To top it all off, since I was in from out of town but a manageable drive, Deiter was able to arrange delivery to my house. The car arrived in my driveway 30 seconds before I even got home. What an awesome experience! Thanks Deiter, we'll definitely be coming back for our future cars!

I tried to buy a Ford F150 and asked them what my payment would be. They checked around to so many credit unions that it lowered my cosigner credit score over 40 points. They had a credit score over 800 and were turned down for a loan. I was also told that they can't lower the price on a used truck a couple hundred dollars because quote "We don't play that game here." I ended up buying a more expensive truck locally and had no issues with my cosigner. Overall very bad experience.

I recently purchased a 2015 Jeep Patriot from this dealership. Ryan was very informative, patient, and quick to get the cars that I wanted to test drive. I felt I got a very fair deal on my Silverado that I traded in and a very fair deal on the Patriot. At no time did I feel rushed, belittled, or taken advantage of, as I have in the past at other dealerships. I will definitely keep these guys in mind for future purchases. Highly recommend.

We are very satisfied with the work that nathan and Toby went through to get us approved for the financing of the 2018 Ford fusion we have. It was a very pleasant experience, no stress or pressure to buy this vehicle.

I would give 10 Stars if possible. Dieter and the whole family at Darrow- Shirkey Ford are absolutely what your looking for to do business with. I sold cars for years in multiple states, and I can tell you they rank at the top of the list in dealership integrity, (those are usually 2 words not used together in a positive way). They went above and beyond in every single attempt to accommodate me for an unforseen and inconvenient situation.After driving 8 hrs through the night and having to stay in town for 3 days, we worked together to find the parts needed. DIETER went above and beyond every single chance he could. I never had to ask any of them for a single thing. They just offered and took care of it. Even the Lead Mechanic was amazing and went above and beyond to make things happen. He offered to come in at 4am the next morning to finish the job if the parts would be there.You are silly to go anywhere else if they have what you need, and if not I'm sure they can locate it.They say what they mean and mean what they say.Thanks again

Try to say they sell cars at wholesale price. Really the cars are priced at running value. A car that can't drive isn't a car, it's a paper weight. Don't try to negotiate price they won't budge. They are only wholesale because they don't have warranty. I'll never call them again!

Best experience I've had buying a vehicle ever. I had been looking for particular truck for 6 months when I discovered Derrow-Shirkey Ford. Tanner instantly treated me like royalty and made me feel like I was his only customer. The truck I bought was priced thousands less than all of the others I'd looked at in 6 months. I had a strict payment price point due to my salary income, and they made it happen without hesitation. They also gave me a trade in value that I couldn't believe was true.Dan Derrow went out of his way to help me with an issue we ran into and immediately made it right for me. The owner came out to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase, and I was a stranger off the street that had never been to Montpelier. Worth the drive from anywhere for small town service. I'll be going back for everything and letting everyone I talk to know it. Big thanks to Tanner and Dan for all of their support in my purchase.

I filled out paperwork online and that day Tanner got ahold of me. I went in and he did an amazing job with setting me up with a new 2018 Ford Escape. The process was so smooth and very entertaining. They are a small but great dealership. I m from WV and was looking to buy my wife a 2023 Bronco. When I called they were extremely nice and had virtually no markup on the vehicle. After two flights the dealership picked me up at the airport two hours away and I was able to take delivery of my new Bronco. Will be doing all my Ford business here from now on.

If I could give Tanner 10 stars, I definitely would. He was such a pleasure to work with. He made the whole car buying process smooth and painless. It wasn t just him either. I m pretty sure just about everyone in there came up and talked with us. Everyone is super friendly and it was so nice to have more of a laid back, no pressure experience. Drove an hour and a half to Derrow Shirkey Ford to look at a vehicle on the lot. Deiter and his team did exceptionally well helping me with my purchase. This dealership is definitely worth visiting if you re in the market for a vehicle!

Today marked our second purchase here and I can confidently say we will be here for our third. Tanner made our time there very enjoyable! We felt comfortable and confident working with him and Brad who helped us with financing. Can t recommend that duo or this dealership enough!

I bought a 2017 Ford Escape from Derrow Shirkey Ford last Tuesday. I noticed a humming sound from the passenger side wheel the very next day. Called them and told them. They said we can't get you in until June 29. A few days go by the sound got worse. Called again and told them the issue was worsening. They said we can squeeze you in Tuesday. I dropped my car off Monday night by this time my air conditioner just suddenly stopped working. I called today around noon to see what was going on with my vehicle since it's my only source of transportation. They were getting a bill around, I said im not paying for this. I was told I needed to talk with the salesman. Well the person in service spoke with the salesman and they said they'd get in contact with me and let me know. Around 4 pm I call to see what's going since no one had contacted me yet. Was told I could pick up my vehicle with the two bad wheel bearings and non working ac. They would get in contact with me and let me know what was going on. I'm still waiting to hear from the dealership. The worst experience ever at a car dealership. I'm glad they car about the safety of there customers.

Big shout out of Thanks to Nate Metz and Nathan Hughes for a wonderful experience purchasing a preowned 2017 F150 Lariat. I live 90 miles away with very limited availability to view the vehicle in person. These guys were absolutely wonderful. No pressure, answered all of my questions, and covered each other seamlessly throughout the process. Right down to the final inspection, test drive, and purchase it was as smooth as warm butter. My wife and I were looking for a new car and this dealership had exactly what we were looking for. I love 1 hour away from them and dealt mainly o we the phone. When talking with Nate he gave me the confidence to come buy a car with only two days of communication. There was no hassle and he was absolutely great. Talking with him while I was in the dealership he is very personable and the entire staff was very welcoming. I m a die hard Chevy guy and he brought me into a Ford dealership never judging once. The trade in process was seamless and finalizing paper work was amazing. Thank you again Derrow-Shirkey for all of your kindness and dealing with us. I m sure we will make the trip again!

From our initial inquiry to our purchase everything was flawless. I have to say we really enjoyed working with Tanner. He was responsive, kind, and truly a joy to deal with. He even took the time to send us a video of the vehicle before we drove 1.5 hours to the dealership. When we got there, the vehicle was in front and ready for a test drive. I highly recommend Derrow Shirkey Ford. It is worth the drive if you are out of the area. Also, would like to thank Nathan for all of his help. Thank you both for everything! If I know anyone in the market for a vehicle, I will definitely recommend you.

Sales process was as expected but the battery had to be replaced the day after I bought the truck, the tires were in such bad shape that they had to be replaced before diagnosing a vibration that was found to be caused by the drive shaft, and finally once all the snow had melted out of the bed I noticed 2 of the 6 bolts that hold the bed to the truck were cut off. Derrow Shirkey did reimburse me for the battery and fortunately the driveshaft is covered under warranty. 3 Days after purchasing the truck I submitted photos of some of the remaining concerns to my sales person Nathan, he had advised me that a manager would be in contact with me. I ended up having to call 3 separate times over a span of 2 weeks before I finally spoke with someone on the sales team by the name of Nate, in detail about my concerns. Nate advised me that they did not cut off the bolts and they do not see missing bolts that hold the bed on to the truck or the tires as a safety concern, therefore they will not do anything about it. It seems that the safety inspection/standards at this dealer are questionable at best, and due to this experience I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle or having service work done to anyone.

Wish I would have read the reviews before comming here. I purchased a 2017 chrysler Pacifica July 30th next day less than 250 miles later check engine light comes on. I informed the dealership. They diagnose and send me a repair bill asking I pay half. I just gave them 20k plus for this vehical 1 day prior. Worst service ever! they have junk vehicals. Want you to buy then pay to fix. Terrible service.
