If I could rate the auto care center a 0/5 stars I would it is crazy slow and the bigger guy working the counter and on the cars is so slow! More standing around an talking than actually working I waited an hour while he was working on no cars and asked his wife who was chatting with him in the garage! I told her I m done waiting she asked her husband how much longer he said 45 more minutes to an hour! I had my 5 year old daughter with me and was furious! More concerned with talking than actually taking care of customers. I left and went to jiffy lube!

Said they couldn't get 1 of the tires off. But when I got home it was easily removed. All my lug nut on otherv3 tires were finger loose. I will never go back.

Had a tire ordered to the store and instead of using that one they went Inside my car and found one in my trunk.Manager rudely argues with me saying well did you tell them not to use the one in your car? . Why tf would they be going through a car without permission. The tire was not even visible from a window. You have the options of looking at orders, or contacting customer (me).Wasnt able to return that tire I had in my car after they messed with it and was barely able to make walmart pay for it after their incompetence and getting into my stuff without permission.

I had an appointment to get tires put on my vehicle at noon at the Auto (We Don't) Care Center. I showed up at 11:45 a.m. and stated, "I have an appointment at noon to get tires put on my vehicle." The person replied, "Well, if we can find 'em." That was my first indication I chose the wrong place to conduct business. In order for me to make this appointment, I needed to: cancel work meetings, work from home, secure transportation from the store, etc. My father-in-law was waiting outside for me in the blistering heat, while the Walmart associates took their sweet time wandering around aimlessly and confusedly looking at stacks of tires. They were in absolutely no hurry, even though I told the gentleman I was pressed for time, because I do take pride in my work, and do try to do a good job. There were three other people working there at the time as well, and the gentleman searching for my tires would stop and show them his scan gun, and they would proffer unhelpful suggestions as to where he might go to continue the search for these most elusive of tires. All four associates were totally disinterested, uncaring, and walked around the facility in the most languid manner. Nobody hurried, nobody cared, and it was abundantly clear to me that the entire Walmart Tire Installation process is fraught with operational inefficiencies. One would think that when a customer places an order for 4 tires, and makes an appointment, that the tires would be at the Auto Center at the scheduled time, because that would make a lot of sense.Because I was pressed for time, I told my father-in-law to not bother continue waiting, because they couldn't find my tires, and I had work I needed to get back to. I don't have the luxury of time of waiting on people who have no idea what they're doing.Of course, about 10 minutes after I left, as I was driving home, I did receive a phone call from one of the people working back there, informing me they had located the tires, and that they were at Online Pickup. I was told I could drive back and they would take care of the installation. At that point though, I'd already sent my ride on his way, and as mentioned, I had obligations I needed to attend to. I did say if they could waive the installation charge and give me the tires for 1/2 off, I would consider it. The person said they'd need to speak to the manager.Long story short, I spoke to the manager, and she said they could waive the $14 balancing charge per tire, so they would knock off $56 for the inconvenience. I'd end up paying that in Uber fees to and from the store, so I just said forget it, and cancelled the order altogether.Perhaps I'm getting more cantankerous as I get older, but I definitely find more and more that people just suck at their jobs, and don't care at all about customer care. Today was a great example of that. My advice to anyone reading this would be to consider an alternative location to get tires put on your vehicle, or, if you order them online, and the people working at the store can't find them, head on over to Online Pickup, because stupidly, they may be over there, even though you won't have received any communication to that effect. My advice to the Walmart Management Team would be to train employees on customer care, including the Management Team themselves. I'm sure they'll read this and not care, which I fully expect, because I'm just one customer. But, to quote Walmart found Sam Walton, "There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else."I'll take his advice and spend my money elsewhere. I may pay more, but I'll save myself the aggravation and frustration of having to deal with employees who suck at their jobs, who can't run an efficient operation, and who don't care about the people they are employed to assist.Service: Auto tire replacement

Brought my car in for a simple plug to the tire from a nail I picked up. After 40 minutes I was paged in the store to go back to the auto center where I was greeted by 5 technicians and told they ran into a problem . The problem was they popped my tire. Mind you, my car is a brand new 2022 and does not have a spare tire. Walmart said they also do not have spare tires to offer to sell me. The best they could offer was a $500 tire that would come in in 2 weeks. I had to get a tow for my car, Uber myself home, and now I am out of a car for work until the dealership gets the tire in 3 days. All of this has been an extra expense out of my pocket. Had I known, I never would have wasted my time to bring it here to begin with.Service: Tires

Arrived for my appointment and was helped immediately. Tire was actually a little cheaper than the original estimate. Quick service. Received a text when car was finished. Completely satisfied. Also the representative on the phone when I made the appointment and chose the tire was very helpful and nice.

Waited an hour to be told my oil change couldn t be done due to a leak from the plug and filter. Took the car somewhere else and they opened the hood to find that they didn t put the oil cap back on and just closed the hood on it. Not to mention they drove my car out with the E brake on. No leak from the filter and the leak from the plug was due to only needing an O ring replaced. Never again will I take my car here and will advise everyone to avoid them at all costs.Service: Oil change

Called and made a appointment to have my tires balanced and rotated. They couldn't find where I made a appointment then it took over 3 hours before they did the job. I bought the tires there and had the warranty

Go anywhere else. I arrived at 2:45PM and was told max two hours to get an oil change and tires rotated. at 5 o'clock I started getting antsy and started asking people around me how long they had been waiting. One guy had already been there for four and a half hours - also for tire rotation and oil change. The couple in front of me had almost been there for 3 hours. I asked a mechanic how much longer I'd be waiting, and he said maybe another hour. I asked to pay for my oil change and leave without getting my tires rotated because that's ridiculous. They had two men working oil and only one doing tires, so many of us were waiting hours while those that came after us but only for oil were done quickly. They have their priorities wrong, and then they didn't even give me a discount! They are too understaffed to be operating, and I will never go back. You're better off paying more somewhere else and getting done in a reasonable amount of time.

I'm pretty upset that I paid for a "standard package" which is all fluid check, a vacuum and a window wash for $32 plus tax. When I went to get in to leave, I noticed my windows weren't washed nor was my truck vacuumed out. And when I asked if those were supposed to be done I got a "well, our vacuum isn't sucking up very well and we are currently out of window washer fluid" are you kidding me, YOU'RE INSIDE WALMART!!!! He straight pi**Ed me off bc I know it was ONLY due to straight LAZINESS!!! I was not offered a discount on my next purchase or anything, not squat....he pretty much said "tough luck" with his actions & words. I will NOT be going back!!!!!!!

Walmart auto center reeks of absolute incompetence. Went yesterday for a tire rotation at 5:30pm. They close at 7. When I got there, the manager walked out of the shop smoking a cigarette and said they couldn't perform my service because the "technicians" aka bums decided they wanted to go home early. I had a nail in my tire and CeCe was able to repair it vs. having to buy a new one. CeCe's customer service is phenomenal! I spoke with her a few months ago regarding a battery for my stepdaughter's car. At that time she again had great customer service. Also the knowledge she has in the service department is excellent! CeCe had quite a few customers as I was waiting and she managed them like a champ. It's hard to come by good customer service nowadays, but CeCe gave me hope. I will definitely be returning to Walmart Service Center in Middletown. CeCe is personable and professional! She deserves a raise!Service: Tires

After a horrible experience at the Walmart Tire & Lube in Franklin, Ohio, 45005, I went to this location. The 2-star is only because I did get tires installed here, other than that it would be 1-star.Checked in my car and had rented a car for the day, knowing from past experiences at any Walmart Tire & Lube was a very long wait. Last visit to this location was to replace 1 tire and took 2.5 hours with my car being immediately parked in the bay with auto tech on it. Another tech had problems with the car they were working on so all three techs worked on that vehicle, so renting a car to avoid waiting in the store. No wait to get in, told the tech I wanted 4 Goodyear Viva 3 tires, save the cheap tire I had purchased a couple of months ago as a spare. So I left the car and was picked up so I could get my rental.15 minutes later the tech left me a message to call them back, even though they did not answer their line 10+ times I tried to call them the previous day. So I did call back but still did not answer even though that was the tech said to do, so the front desk had to page them to answer. 5 minutes later I talked to the tech and was told that the Viva 3 tires were not in stock, and transferred me to another person to pick different tires for the job.She checked the stock and they had 3 of the Viva 3 for my auto in stock but not 4. Since I had bought they cheap Douglass tire there a couple of months back I told them to install the 3 tires and I would go to another location for the other, simple enough but was followed up by another phone call in another 10 minutes. It was the lady I had just spoken with to tell me that their inventory is off and they had none in stock of the tire size I needed. So...I really did not want to get another 3 cheap Douglass tires, but the only other option was $40 more per tire than the Goodyear tires I wanted. Since I had a rental for the day and could keep it longer I asked how long it would be if they placed an order for the tires I wanted, and was told they cannot order the tires; they are automatically ordered when they are out of stock, but being out of stock when inventory says they have it they might not ever get them in stock again.I was given the option to drive to 3 other Walmart stores (no stores showed more than 2 in stock), purchase the tires, and deliver them to them to install. I was not comfortable in loading up and small rental car with tires, and who know if the other 3 locations "really" had them in stock. Another car that I tried to get Viva 3 tires on last year I had the same issue, never in stock. Goodyear Viva 3 at $69 per tire gets you in the door, then told after leaving you can have cheap Douglass tires at $59, or $120 for a similar tire (same 60K tread warranty). I seriously doubt they ever stock the Goodyear Viva 3 at $69/tire, just enough so they can advertise this tire that they have no ability to order themselves. Opted for the cheap Douglass tires and will replace them after 30,000-40,000 miles (if they last that long).Walmart lost the $600+ monthly food and other items for my large family years ago due to their horrible customer service and lack of cashiers, along with the thousands spent at Christmas. Saving $150-$200 for 4 tires seemed to be worth putting up with Walmart but ended up more headache than it is worth, since they never have the advertised brand-name tire in stock, what's the use trying.

Called up to see what wait was for oil change. She said 1 to 2 hours wait. Said I was on the way. She said they close at 5. Website says they close at 6. This was at 245pm. I questioned her about it saying it closes at 6 and I got major attitude. Hood Rat style. Evidently these people a lazy and liars. Stay away from this place.

Overall good service. They just take so long to do them. It's almost the same pain as just paying more and waiting less time

Had my oil changed today and I see they have a new manager. Must be why the service was so much better and quicker. I will definitely go back if he is there. Also have a sale on full synthetic oil changes.

Worst tire service I've ever even heard of. I waited over 1.5 hrs just to get a single tire changed with no one else in front of me. Then to top it off their wonderful tire guy decided there was no reason to put my spare back in my trunk. When I called to let them know about the situation I was told that they have it still and I can pick it up at my convenience. Unfortunately I live 5 hrs away. When I told them this and asked if they could ship it to me I was told that I could pick it up and that was it. I told them that obviously wasn't going to be an option and asked what else they could do to rectify their mistake and was told yet again the spare would be there for me to pick up at my convenience. While I was there multiple people were asking for the manager. It seems that this is a horribly ran store, even for Walmart's low standards. If u have another option take it!

The older man working the desk was amazing! However, once I was home, I seen a stud was broke off my wheel. They didn't even tell me they broke it nor did they offer to fix it! It ended up costing me a lot of money to repair!

I went in with a tire half on the rim, and they finished mounting it for me, put a new valve stem in the rim and balanced it for me for $13 and some change. The staff was very knolageable and friendly, I would Definitely Recommend as the place to go for Reasonably priced tire repair in mounting

My boyfriend and I have gotten oil changes here twice and both times the service was awful. These people are horrible at managing their time and they got oil all over our cars. On the door and the interior and all over the steering wheel! Never coming here again.

Terrible. Went for oil change. Supposed to open at 7am. Did not open until 7:20. Then could not get car pulled in because key for overhead door was not in the store. Was first in line and car still not done. Will go elsewhere next time.

They don't deserve any stars as far as I'm concerned, first they stripped the oil plug and didn't even bother to repair or replace, second when I left and not even a block away,my car was smoking bad to the fact that oil was all over the under carriage because of oil plug and there was oil all over the filter as well, had to turn around quick so they can fix the issue, they cleaned the filter and that was it,I had to go somewhere else so they could fix Walmart's screw up and on top of that they overfilled it,never again,I have photo evidence from the other shop.
