I encountered a transmission oil leak in my car and began searching for a reliable repair service. Unfortunately, the transmission shop recommended by my mechanic failed to respond to my repeated phone calls. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Fred, who promptly took in my car without requiring an appointment. He efficiently addressed the issue at what I consider to be a fair and reasonable price. The communication throughout the process was excellent, and since the repair, there have been no more leaks. Based on my positive experience, I highly recommend Aamco for any transmission-related issues.

Wife's transmission needed a fluid change. Was starting to chatter some. I called and dropped it off at the second location. They had it done in a few days. Paid over the phone and went and picked up the vehicle. It fixed the problem. Didn't have any direct contact with anyone other than the phone. So everything was quick and easy. Price seemed to be fair. The wife's happy now. So I am as well. Quality work at quality prices.

They do not return calls and have had my car for 2 weeks and nobody can call me back (despite several messages) and give me an update or tell me what is going on with my car. Extremely unprofessional! 4/13/23 - SINCE WRITING THIS REVIEW, THE OWNER CALL ME UP, CUSSED ME OUT (Seriously did), AND REFUSED TO SERVICE MY CAR, DUE TO THIS REVIEW. HE DID NOT THINK I WAS HIS CUSTOMER AND THAT 2 WEEKS WAS NOT A LONG TIME TO WAIT WITH NO RESPONSE. 4/14/23 Take you cars to Vito at the AAMCO located at 370 Northland Blvd, Cincinnati, OH 45246. In less than 12 hours he has fixed my car and I am going to pick it up right now!Service: Transmission

This review has been a month in the making and I ultimate had my repair done at the dealer. I brought my vehicle into AAMCO being 95% sure that the problem I had was a bad speed sensor located inside the transmission. AAMCO did a "diagnostic" and declared that I would need a $6500 rebuild. When I asked what codes it was throwing they did not know because the computer hadn't been scanned. Not scanning the computer when the transmission is controlled via computer is a big problem. Ultimately Ford's assessment of my problem matched my own and they were able to fix the problem with minimal cost. My worry here is either AAMCO is only interested in doing rebuilds (which I'm certain they are great at) and this cause them to mislead customers, or there is a severe need for more training on modern transmissions. If you need work other than a rebuild take your car somewhere else.I also echo similar sentiments by others regarding communication and "Total Care." It was often difficult to make contact owing to the fact that the location does not have staff to man the phone. As for Total Care, I had wanted a non-transmission related issue looked at; was total that looking was not a problem, but they really only do transmission work.Service: Transmission

AAMCO replaced my wife's transmission in her Nissan Rouge at the Bethany location. Excellent communication and super fast turnaround. Spoke with Tom and dropped off on a Monday morning and had the car fixed/picked up by Wednesday evening. They were about $1000 cheaper the the Nissan dealership price using the same remanufactured transmission. Thanks for the fast service AAMCO!

I had a wonderful experience with Aamco. They did a great job repairing my car. A very fair price. Fred kept me up to date with the repairs at all times. Definitely the place to take your car for repairs. They do total care care, not just transmissions.

Dropped off my car at this old warehouse at 3:00in the afternoon and the office was closed tight. Had to call to get someone at another location to tell them I even dropped it off. Was there the entire next day and they never touched it! I called multiple times and just got recordings. I finally reached someone and told them I needed my car by 4:00 and they said they would have my keys there. Surprise, surprise the place was locked up tight and no keys. Finally after more calls a guy with a trailer full of lawn mowers showed up and gave me my keys. Luckily, I got out before they worked on the car! I would would not recommend this particular company! No customer service!

First of all a potential customer should know that the hours of operation are reflective of the Erlanger hours. Most of the work will be performed there and they really only come to this location if you call them. In light of this fact, my most detailed review will be left for that location. Short review: Transmission repair seems ok for now (2k miles in), however I cannot recommend the shop because of everything else. Don't go here unless you want to go through your cars mechanicals with a fine tooth comb afterwards.

Purchased warranty for my transmission. Transmission went out took it back to shop warranty covered but they have had my car for almost a month now. And I cant reach no one to see whats going on. No communication
