They have no fancy office or receptionist. That s why thy can be difficult to reach by phone. They keep their costs down and get repairs done right.Nick and his guys are curious, skilled and honest. They have done several jobs for me and have always taken the high road. They re pricing is more than fair. They are my go to shop.Service: Transmission

I brought my 2001 silverado 2500 to them with the 8.1 allison transmission combination. The transmission had a clunck and chirping noise and it also would flare or slam in the 2 to 1 down shift. They had the truck roughly 2 weeks and called and said it was done. I went down there and Nick showed me my torque converter they this was my problem. I paid him 1600 and got in my truck and left. I started driving my truck and it did the exact same thing before it was fixed. I brought it back to him 10 minutes later and let him listen to the noise it was making. He offered to return my money but i said no just get it fixed. He since then has had my truck 3 other times replacing various parts trying to find what was wrong with my transmission. Every time my transmission is the same. After the 4th time nick refused to work on my transmission anymore or refund the 1600. I believe he did want to fix it at first but when he couldn't find the problem and basically said oh well. I took it to a reputable transmission shop not a guy doing doing work in his back yard. He just threw parts at it hoping it would fix the problem. Now its still broken and im out 1600. Not to mention everytime i would have to wait weeks for him to look at him again because he was busy. I already paid you, my truck should have been fixed before new customers. When he refused to look at it again or refund my money. I told him to just put the old parts back in because the transmission has not improved at all. Which he refused to do. I currently have a pending case with the BBB and im filing a claim in small claims court. Just beware when work is done. Drive the car ir truck for a few days to make sure its right before you pay him.Service: Transmission

Good work at a fair price. Nick is very helpful and does great work. Had the transmission for my Chevy Avalanche worked on here and have brought my vehicles here every year for their oil undercoating before winter hits.

My daughter had a transfer case replaced. They did a good job, they were quick and treated her very well. Never once did I feel they were taking advantage of her because she was a woman with no clue what neede repaired. Highly recommended!!

I trust them. And that is huge. There have been several times when they could have charged me for something that I didn't need, without me any the wiser. But they didn't. They offered me the cheaper solution, or got the part for free that was under warranty....etc. The wait can be long, but that is because they are so busy because they are good.

I was visiting from out of town when I started having transmission issues...called them up and they checked my transmission fluid levels at no charge. It's rare that anyone does anything for free these days and they were very caring. It speaks volumes for them.

Huge help!!! Nick is fantastic, goes over everything with you, his rates are very fair. Women, if you are tired if being scammed on transmission work, go here. Nick is extremely honest, and he saved me over $3500.00 compared to what the dealership wanted

The founders son has followed his father's footsteps in providing quality transmission repairs. Have used them twice over the years. Just had routine maintenance performed. Transmission shifts better which increased mileage.

Very honest. Told me the price before working on my truck and stuck with it. Truck was fixed properly and still running. Would recommend this shop to everybody I know. Good job guys.

Nick and the guys at Selinick Transmission are very good at fixing vehicles, no matter what you need (they do a lot more than transmissions). And I can tell you from experience that they stand behind their work. I will use them again, and I highly recommend them.

I went there to have a clutch kit, clutch fork and flywheel installed on my 2014 wrx, overall I'm satisfied with my choice. The guys were fair priced and the work was completed relatively quick. They replaced another component (gasket) that was broke upon disassembly at no extra charge. I ordered all parts and they installed, not many shops I see doing that these days. Only negative I have to say is I called them once after the install about a clicking sound in my center differential and never recieved a call back. Not sure if their work is guaranteed but I fixed the issue myself. I'm not sure if I'll go back again seems how they were unaware of my subaru being.....rear wheel drive......its all wheel drive. If you have a domestic car this might be your place, foreign not so much.

These guys are great. They fixed exactly what needed to be fixed on my van, without a lot of extra overkill. They did not take advantage of my limited knowledge of transmissions. I would recommend Selinick.

I tried on several occasions to get ahold of this company and they didn't answer my phone call at all I called a total of 12 times and not once answered the phone absolutely poor customer service

they were ok kinda screwimg around and kept telling me diffrent dates of when my car will be done and 2 months later they didnt get it done. they show no effort in getting the vehicle done on time

Got my transmission rebuilt it took almost 4 months to get back and only lasted about the same they don t care if you work with this vehicle or not they lie about when they are going to service and or when it will be done and I found shift linkages that should ve been replaced instead it looked like someone put a hose clamp on it to keep it from falling out terrible customer service and business skillsService: Transmission
