Stopped in here during a day of shopping, pouring rain all day and was really looking for some comfort food. The first thing that struck me was the cafeteria feel of this massive building. Sure, they have all the kitschy knickknacks, for sale in another area of the building, but still, cafeteria. Then the menu shows the big seller is the buffet $17.99 at least it was at 2PM and you could take your left overs with you at $7.99 @pound. Salad bar(standard), dessert bar( bare minimum) and main course. 2 types of chicken(fried & baked), chicken & noodles, standard side dishes, 2 types of gravy, meatloaf. That's about it. There were other menu items, of course, but price wise it just made sense to go with the buffet. I rarely take this option as I eat like a bird and cannot get past 1 plate but everything on the menu was priced about the same and I couldn't decide. It was OK but reminded me of being back in school. Mass produced food. Bland, no flavor, hospital food. My companion hated everything except maybe the banana pudding and the rolls. The nicest thing I can say about the place is that it was clean and the staff was very attentive and pleasant. Otherwise, it's a never again for me.

Portions are very good and everything always tastes fresh & delicious! Prices are good for the amount of food you get. The buffet is also very good and has a lot of tasty items to choose from. We've been coming here for lunch and dinner for many years and it's always worth the long drive. The food, service and quality has always been outstanding and consistent. Sometimes they do get pretty busy, but our wait time has never been too long to get a table or for service. Don't forget to take some fresh bakery home when you leave, it's delicious!

My Waitress was excellent very polite. I loved the food they had fish and shrimp on buffet very good. I gave her a tip and the young man cleaning tables off. I believe his name was Isiah very polite he made a mistake cleaning my table off before I was done. He hurried and got me fresh drinks and apologized. The people who clean the tables rarely get recognized for there work. Isiah is a excellent worker.

We had gone by this place multiple times over the past few years and finally decided to stop. So glad we did! The atmosphere was very pleasant. Our server was so nice and patient. The food was amazing! Salad was fresh, pork chops had wonderful flavor and plenty. The chili and meatloaf were wonderful! This is a place I will definitely be going back to!

Wayyy to expensive for a buffet, the food was edible, probably the best thing I had was the piece of blueberry pie. When I asked our server if I could have a take home box she said no they don t do that, when I asked if I could pay 10$ to take my food home she said yes but you have to pay 5$ per pound. This is just my personal experience but I thought it could have been better and I believe that there are better Amish alternatives around that I will be going to instead that are more affordable and healthier.

For starters, when you go in, it s not easily accessible for handicap people you have to walk a long way to get to the dining room. The food was way too expensive for what you got. I had the corned beef sandwich, which was one piece of lunchmeat, corn beef, and a piece of Swiss cheese with a little bit of sauerkraut. If you look at the menu, there s all kinds of rules on what you can, and can t do I thought it was a bit ridiculous I would never go back to this restaurant, and I would never recommend it to any of my family or friends

Wonderful Thanksgiving experience! From the ease of ordering through the pleasant and easy pickup to the incredible food. I was once invited to an Amish family dinner, this brought back great memories of that time. The food is fantastic, no one will leave hungry and then there's the pies! Ordered dinner for 20 , invited 10, everybody took home leftovers enough for another meal .. good conversation after, as we were all too stuffed to move .. everybody left happy and more importantly, thankful. We're going to do this again.

A typical "Amish" restraunt for the area. A full tourist trap leading to the dining area. No crowd on a Wed afternoon. A full salad and entree bar with an "All You Can Eat" option. Wide selection ofsandwiches. Also a "Senior" menu with smaller portions and lower prices. One member ordered a Reuben sandwich with tough chewy corned beef. One ordered the fried cod sandwich with some unidentifiable chewy component. The roast beef was reported to be excellent with melt in your mouth dinner rolls. And the Fried trail bologna sandwich was perfect. The time from order to service was longer than I like. Not the best "Amish" eatery but far from the worst.

We had the buffet here at our recent visit to the area. Was disappointing that the only other meat offered besides the chicken was meatballs. Though they did offer both broasted and baked chicken. Was an okay variety of foods but wasn t nearly as good as other Amish restaurants we ve had in Indiana for the same price of $17. Cute gift shop though and bought a couple gifts for our kids.

As soon as I stepped in the door the heavenly smell made me even more hungry The staff was warm and welcoming. They knew the menu well. It was like Thanksgiving all over when saw the buffet. Every thing was so tasty, I really enjoyed myself! This is a hidden gem that I recommend to everyone.

Went there yesterday I was not impressed the quality of there food has gone down. Got the ham with pineapple Gravy. It was to maybe quarter inch thick 2 pieces not even a slice of ham with cold crushed pineapple on top that tasted like it was sitting in a fridge forever. Very disappointed. I have been going here since about the time they opened. Yesterday's meal was terrible.

Organized much like a Cracker Barrel you enter through a quaint gift shop inwhich most products can be found to be made from China but I did find some nice local jellies and jams. The food is comfort food, lightly seasoned and filling. Some meats (chicken and swine) was from local farms or from Cisco (a national food supplier) such as the meatloaf. The soup is homemade and the home made rolls are amazing. Service was good and prices are fair. Their pies are homemade too but as a former restaurateur not all the food is homemade......
