It pains me to write this review as I wanted to find a good local mechanic and I was not able to do that. My vehicle broke down so I called them to ask about price to diagnose and they stated 75.00 per hour and only charge for the time it takes to figure out the issue. It sounded good and I asked when could they look at it she stated Monday. I had my vehicle towed to the shop on Friday afternoon. I waited for a phone call on Monday and did not receive one so I called them late afternoon only to be told they did not have a chance to look at it and the mechanic doesn't come in till 5pm and he would look at it then. Tuesday came around and again I had to call them and she stated they will call me later that evening. So later that evening they called me to say the water pump was bad however they also said the motor could be bad (what). They said it sounded bad. Now I am not a mechanic but a bad water pump and a bad motor are on opposite ends of repairs. They quoted me for both the repairs and stated they could not tell me 100% what the issue truly was even though they are a auto mechanic shop. I was told if I decided to have them just fix the water pump and it turned out to be the engine I would owe for both repairs again they should be the experts here and tell me what is wrong and what is needing fixed. I decided to get a second opinion so I scheduled to have my vehicle towed to another mechanic and when the tow truck arrived they were not open this was around 1pm. I called multiple times with no answers. They did call me back later and owner stated they were sick which I get but put something on your voice mail. I scheduled the tow truck again and had it towed to the other shop. Also want to mention that when the tow truck driver started the vehicle to move it so he could put it on the truck the engine sounded fine. So after 2 days at the other shop and almost half the price the water pump was replaced and the vehicle is running great. Turns out I didn't need a $7000.00 plus motor. Do yourself a favor and find a shop with knowledgeable mechanics who know how to figure out what is wrong with your vehicle and don't give you quotes that are almost $6000.00 apart from each other.

Reeve's is a hidden treasure. I've gone to them multiple times in the last 3 years. They are very reasonable and work around my unique work schedule to ensure my vehicle is ready for me by my work days. I sent my widow sister there and she was happy. I was in town for my child s sport camp down the road and my check engine light and shaking occurred in my car. I happened upon reaves and asked if they could look at my car. They ran diagnostics and found an error. They said I should take it to my dealer as it should be under warranty. They didn t try to sell me anything or even charge me! Mr. REaves assured me it was safe to get me and my children home, which was such a relief. While waiting, I had the pleasure of chatting with his lovely wife Julie. She was KIND and so welcoming to me and my two little girls. I was blown away by this business! I live in Cincinnati and we don t have a lot of auto shops that would demonstrate such KINDNESS, honesty, and integrity! Thank you Reaves auto repair, I d recommend you a million times!

Great experience man really knows his stuff.Had the cars light replaced and clean the lens also. Did in no time and they look amazing after he was done. Would recommend 100%

I want to let Mr. And Mrs. Reeves know what kind of employees they have working for them! We met (Cole) yesterday at BP. He saw me looking with concern at my car and came over to make sure we were ok. Told me he worked at REEVE AUTO and they were closed but he would call to see if he could open the shop to make sure we could drive home safely assuring us that not only he, but Mr and Mrs Reeves first priority was a persons safety! The garage was open and the car put on a lift !!! No expectations of anything other than my safety!!! This gentlemen could not have been anymore caring or professional. Explained everything in detail all while being off the clock. Not trying to sell me anything, but offering his services if I so chose on Monday when Mr Reeves was there. While I gave him a token of appreciation the young man expected nothing. What a fine representation of a company. We truly appreciate your time and kindness!

Reaves Auto Repair would like to respond to the following review from Shane Stafford which occured over 5 years ago. Mr. Stafford came into our garage to have a water pump done on his truck. He was scheduled to come in at 9am for this service for it to be done by noon. He arrived late at 10:30am still wanting his truck back by noon, which we had every intention of having his truck completed. Meanwhile a family from out of town came in with a flat tire, so we stop to fix the tire,. This upset Mr. Stafford and he started saying ""Oh I see if you don't make an appointment you get in right away''. He then started using fowl language and spitting on our floors. After 15 minutes of these actions from him we asked him to leave and he was charged nothing. This iccident occured over 5 years ago.
