I took a chance on a new auto repair shop after seeing the multiple glowing reviews for S&S and I am SO happy that I did I'll never take my car anywhere else! Rich and his team were not only lovely to work with, but they were able to get me back on the road in no time. Very respectable pricing, and the customer service simply cannot be beat. I'll be recommending S&S Auto Care to all of my friends/family in the area 5 stars!

Will never take my car anywhere else. The guy at the counter is Man of few words but he don't need to say much. The work they do speaks for itself. They fixed my Dodge journey for me in timely manner and didn't try to charge crazy prices.

This is the fourth garage I tried to take my car to have a differential replaced or rebuilt. That doesn't include two garages I called that were supposed to call me back and never did. This garage was fantastic. They found a used differential with relatively low mileage for me and replaced it in a timely fashion. Their pricing was also lower than other places I had spoken with. Happy customer.

I've taken my car here on multiple occasions and never have had any issues. Rick and his employees have always fixed my car in a timely manor, and for a good price! I recommend him to others all the time if they're having car issues.

Very honest! Great shop! Called Rich the owner about needing new Front brake pads and rotors for my 2013 Toyota Corolla LE. Quoted me a great price! He took the time to figure out a quote and gave me a discount with it! 200 dollars less then what my dealership was charging me! I told him I will call him for anything needed done on my car. Didn t up sell me to buy anything else. Dropped my car off the night before and left my keys in the drop-box in the back of the shop. Got it done the next day. Very great shop really pleased with there work will defiantly go there again! Thank you again Rich!

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a nightmare of an experience with the owner Rich being deceptive and dishonest earlier this month when I brought my Cadillac to his place of business for repair. I had a radiator hose that needed to be connected and a headlights to be repaired that were disconnected after having some body work done elsewhere. I called to find out how much the cost of the repair would be after he said he would call me back the day prior and did not. Rich said he found two rims for 750.00 plus 75.00 each for tire pressure sensors(which my sensors were fine) and I told him I will pass on the recondition rims because I knew I can buy the rims for $50-$100.00 each at the most. Then he said okay well without the rims the bill will be 650.00 and I said I did not authorize him to just do the work on his own accordance. He then said he will take off a couple of hours of labor because it took 5 hours to get my head lights to work however he would have to pull the high beam fuse out so that the lights will not stay on high beam because I needed a new turn signal arm that has the high beam switch. Anyway he then called my girlfriend and said he will charge only $365.00 So then she called me and told me thew price and she told him too that we did not authorize him to work on the car that we wanted a price before he did any work. I threatened to call the police on him and he said he is a Christian person who is honest and said for me to get my car off his property within the hour or it will be impounded. I had my Dad pick up the car immediately and I came to get it from him later that evening and when I was driving the lights turned off completely every time I used my turn signal. Stay away from this guy he is a rip off and very shady doing unauthorized work and charging insane prices and claimed to be a Christian on top of it when confronted for being dishonest and crooked. He tried to initially charge me $1,400.00 to connect a radiator hose and connect my headlights as well as for two used reconditioned rims. Also when I picked up my car the fuse module for the high beam was laying on the side of the engine on top of the wire harness.

Rich always goes above and beyond for his customers. He takes the time to answer your questions. He is always honest and has the best pricing around. Rich is not trying to rip anyone off and is trying to run an honest family business. I have sent multiple family members and friends to Rich and they all tell me the same thing......Rich is top notch. Please read and decide for yourself: I had a wheelbearing go bad and my vehicle was broke down at Sheetz. I got the parts I needed (wheel bearing and hub) but I needed the bearing pressed into the hub still. I called S&S and told them my dilemma and asked if they could just press the bearing into the hub so that I could go put it on and get my vehicle out of Sheetz. They told me $95. To press one bearing into a hub that I would install myself. 5 minutes of work. 10 minutes if you take a coffee break. Idk, I understand that the Bearing Press cost money and the Mechanics time and all but that seems high. I found a shop to do it for a fraction of the price. Shop equipment costs money and so does time. I get it. This is just my experience, take it as you will.

I chose this shop based on the reviews. The reviews were dead on. Got me in and out same day no appointment. Also it did turn out cheaper than the estimate and my car sounds like it should. I would definitely recommend this shop. Friendly employee (Rich) made me feel like they had time for me and wasn't just another vehicle added to their busy day.

Rich and his staff are amazing! I now live in Connecticut and still time any major car updates for when I'll be in Mentor so they can do it. I don't trust anyone but them and they have great prices too!

I had the great experience and his price was excellent. I ask him questions and he answer them all. I ask for pictures of before and after. I'm 100% satisfied and gave me 13 months or 12,000 miles on the breaks, pads/ rotors . I will definitely send customers for service.

The people here are very dishonest here and are scammers (especially the owner Richard). They tried charging my dad $1000 for a radiator leak, which was just a hose that needed to be put back on. They were also supposed to fix his headlight and they still don t work properly. Your better off fixing you cars yourself. I do not recommend this place at all.

Went to S and S for a "second opinion" on a dealership repair quote, and not only was S and S more reasonable but he proactively went out of his way to give me the best repair price possible. Also, this may be a little thing for some, but the customer service aspect was top notch - at no point did I feel like I was an inconvenience (something I've run into with others in this line of business). I think I've found my go to mechanic moving forward...

On a trip between Columbus, OH and Buffalo, NY, I needed a quick, temporary repair on my muffler/tailpipe assembly, which was hanging by a thread. A guy at a gas station recommended S&S highly. Owner Rich at S&S fixed me up and in about 15 minutes. I was delighted, but here's the kicker, NO CHARGE--he did it as a courtesy. If I lived in the area, this guy would be my mechanic.

Rich (owner) was great to work with and I am definitely going back. Very professional and service took less time than predicted. Punch card for free oil change after number of oil changes. I am planning on doing all my oil changes / car service here.

Good & honest service. Fixed my brakes for $50 while another ripoff joint quoted nearly $500. Go figure.Nice that they offer a Veterans discount too!Thank you

In this day and age, it is really hard to find an excellent automotive center where you don't feel you will be taken advantage off! I know, I'm "mechanically DECLINED" so I finding a place is important. S & S Auto Care is THE place for all our cars. Rick and his staff of quality mechanics, are top notch and are more concerned about the customer than any other auto care center I have used in over 40 years. Their attention to detail is top notch. They all know that repairing a car (especially for one who is on the road daily) is a need that we all don't want to deal with. Yet, this great place makes one feel that they are working on THEIR car not yours! To anyone looking for THE place for auto service, look no further....S & S Auto Care is your solution. Outstanding honest shop. Rich and Gary straight up. No up sell. Did me a solid twice in one week. Two different vehicles, two separate issues. Diagnosed well, took in as promised, delivered as promised and priced more than fair.

Check out the guys at S&S if you're looking for a mechanic, need a second opinion, or are simply tired of feeling gouged. Rich Skotniski has been fixing our family cars for years - that's 2 generations of trust. My mechanical woes always seem to be "urgent", like they were today, but he always manages to get me in ASAP.

Car was running poorly, stuttering and misfiring. Called in the morning, they fit me in, and had it diagnosed and fixed that afternoon. Friendly service and reasonably priced. I was very pleased.

Dropped off a tire to have it patched. Took about an hour. Didn't ask for an estimate and it still cost exactly what I would expect it too. Would recommend.
