Worst customer service I have experienced in many many years. Service department is terrible to say the least.I had my car in for repair through my insurance company, and amoung other things my car was supposed to be detailed. My car was in the service department nearly a month, and was returned to me in a laughable state. Absolutely mind-blowing that someone at the service department actually sad to themselves, "Yep, this looks great, this is ready for the customer"

Honestly, car buying is just horrible, but this location and our sales associate, Jack, were incredible. Everyone was nice and really worked with us to get to the price we really wanted. Overall great experience and super happy with my Sorento!

Recently, my wife decided that she was ready for a new car. Currently, she has a 2011 Kia soul Plus that she bought brand new back in the day, however, while the car looks and runs great, it has no technology or current safety options. She liked the size of the new 2024 Kia seltas EX AWD, so she decided to make some appointments and take a look at what the dealers were offering on their lot!We also went online and decided to check out some cars on the internet... Were we surprised by the response of dealerships calling us to set appointments with us!One of those dealerships that reached out to us was Ken ganley Kia mentor. So, while we were out taking care of some Saturday morning chores, we set an appointment to come and visit with them!When we pulled up, there was the exact car as we had described to their appointment setter... A 2024 Kia sell toss EX AWD, in Snow White Pearl color It was love at first sight for my wife and her potentially next new car! We talked with a salesman named Jacob and went over some of the parameters, but we didn't test drive it yet... I just wanted to get some info into judge my salesman and the dealerships first impression! So, we stepped inside the showroom to discuss some of the purchase options that were available to us! They presented various options, including the idea of a lease for that vehicle! But, my wife was sold on the fact that she wants to own her next car, just like she did with her previous vehicle!This went on, back and forth for a while and we could not come to a mutual agreement! We had other stops to make, so, we decided to check out what other dealers had available and we will keep them notified on our decisions!Here was what sold us with this dealership: their sales manager, Tony called us the next day and ask, so, how close are we to making a deal? I thought this was a very professional move on his behalf and I told him what I think we needed to come back in and further examine those purchase options he presented to us! He agreed. My wife and I came back in and went over what would be the best purchase option for her! We then filled out a profile and ran a credit check... My wife has 877 preferred credit, a substantial down payment and we decided to just keep our old vehicle, instead of trading it in! We found the vehicle she wanted, the payment she wanted and the respect that we deserved from our new car dealership purchase I'll be honest, I wouldn't have given them much of a second thought if it weren't for their sales manager, Tony having the professionalism and salesmanship to give me a call to see what he needed to do to make a deal happen between us! Way to go, Tony Other dealerships should really take notice... This is how it should be done

Thankfully Nick was a fantastic salesman and understood my needs. BUT be aware of the finance office. The lady who did my finance who I believe is Marley was extremely rude and unprofessional. Was told the $2200 dollar OPTIONAL warranty given through the bank. Which does not happen. BE AWARE. Then went back in to speak with another finance manager and was told I was more than likely only approved for the loan if I included the 2200 dollar warranty. Total LIE!!!

The staff are all awesome. They are very friendly and want to make you comfortable. The salesman Ken Johnson is awesome. This is a high volume car dealer that being said I bought a used car I think they could have cleaned the car a little better and they should have checked the tire pressure before releasing the car to me. It was a great experience. Love my new car.

What can I say? Ben and the team went to great lengths to give me the experience I was looking for. A little background. I am an avid auto enthusiast and work in the auto industry so my expectations for customer service are very high. I drove 850 miles round trip from PA to look at and purchase a used vehicle. From start to finish, Ben, Marty and all the fellow staff stepped up to help make my experience seem less and easy. After having the car for a few days, a concern came up and without hesitation, Ben stepped in and made it more than right for me. What else can I say? Next time in I m Ohio, I ll be sure to stop by and look for another vehicle to add to our family. The experience alone should make you stop by to take a look at inventory. In the day and age we are in today, it is tough to find a dealership that you can trust and I can honestly say I trust them with my vehicle and finances. Thank you again to everyone who made my dream purchase the best experience I could ask for and thank you for giving me a lasting memory of my vehicle purchase. Ken Ganley Kia is the best!!!

My initial experience with Ken Ganley Kia of Mentor was nothing short of lackluster. The salesperson was rude and could not have been less helpful. In the meantime I did look elsewhere for a new car. However, a woman at the front desk gave me a call to let me know they got another truck full of vehicles in so I decided to head in just to take a look to narrow down my options on what I really wanted, since this dealership is close to home. I decided to ask the sales manager to be set up with a different salesperson. They had no issues with doing so and I was sent to Jacob. Admittedly, I was skeptical about Jacob right from the start due to my recent experience with the last salesperson. However,Jacob was excellent! He answered all of my questions and if he admittedly wasn t sure of an answer, he went and found it instead of feeding me false info for the sake of his ego. When I decided that the trim I wanted wasn t available at this particular dealership, he went above and beyond and reached out to make a dealer trade to another dealership to get me EXACTLY what I wanted, all the way down to the color. When nobody was available to go get the vehicle, he personally drove himself out to get it for me! He was incredibly accommodating and I would recommend Jacob to anyone looking for a new Kia.

I first will say that Noah was awesome, friendly, and very helpful so try to use him! If not for him, this would be a lower score. As it was, this is what a car buying experience always is- average! Nothing special, same song and dance you get anywhere else you buy a car.What was the most annoying was the bloke who was the boss/finance guy comes over and says we ll go to bat for you and help ya out, then proceeds to rip us a rate of 13.89% cuz you know, it s a car dealership. Mind you it was for a used car, but still, it s highway robbery. And I didn t care for that empty promise unless Mr. Finance Guy really thinks 13.89% is a deal. In addition, while we bought the car As-Is I did not expect the engine light to light up ON THE WAY HOME! If you re gonna state on a document you performed the inspection, it darn well better be performed and I m not 100% sure it was at this point. If it was I m prepared to bet a lot of money maintenance simply cleared the engine code hoping it would stay off. Thankfully it won t be an expensive fix. Nonetheless an average experience.

I ve purchased multiple Kia cars from this dealership over the years. It s reassuring knowing that even after your car purchase they follow through with excellent service as well. My salesman Jacob Smetana deserves a shout out for his incredible patience with a very fussy customer (me), a great test drive and a keen sensitivity to helping me select just the right car. He even came in on his day off to accommodate. Outstanding.Tony the sales manager gave me a great deal on the car I truly wanted and when I returned for financing helped to direct me to a loan that had lower interest than I originally expected. Pretty nice, right?

Zaid is a wonderful sales associate to work with! He listens to what you want and gives you options! The buying process of getting my car was fine but after that it went down hill. Car was very dirty when I first saw I was told it be cleaned when I picked it up. Well that didn't happen so was told it would be professionally cleaned. Well that was a joke. There was sill tape suck to back seat and popsical goo in cup holders. Then car was to have paint touched up in the morning so car could be done by afternoon. The paint guy didn't show till noon that day. Then I still haven't received my title needed to transfer my plates and i bought the car about a month ago. Also communication from dealership rep is lacking at some points.

Jacob and Eugene did a poor job explaining the warranty. After 3 trips to the dealer, I was left under the impression that the warranty extended to the sale of the car. This was not the case, I now owe $3500 extra in warranty payments. They did not fill the gas tank up as prescribed following the sale of the vehicle. The staff is nice enough, but misses heavily on the transaction details. I will never return to buy a car.

If it was possible to give a place 0 stars and still leave a comment, I would do that. Their service department, communication, and overall customer service is beyond disappointing. If you bring your car in for service, they won t call you back or give you updates on your vehicle for weeks. And then, when you finally take to social media to get their attention, they ll be sure to block you so it appears as though they have great reviews, but still won t return your call. Before purchasing a vehicle here, read their 1 star reviews..they re all about timeliness and customer service. Do your research because you don t want to buy from this dealership.

It has taken me three weeks to write the review because I wanted to make sure I was not writing it out of anger our Kia optima was stolen and was recovered by the police and take him to this Kia dealership in Mentor, the car was dropped off on February 26. We did not get the car back for until March 16 and when we got it back it was filthy. As part of our insurance agreement with the dealership the car was supposed to be detailed (they build our insurance for it) and the car still had finger print dust everywhere, mud on the rugs, glass on the floor. The dealership claim to have vacuumed it and return it to us in pre-stolen condition. However, my husband had just detail the car for four hours three days before it was stolen. The dealership ordered the wrong part and did not bother have the broken windows replaced while they waited for the part to come in therefore making us wait even longer once they fixed the sterring column. We received nonupdates on the car other than it s gonna be done tomorrow for 10 days and we only received this update when we called to inquire about the car. We asked the dealership about giving us a rental car since the car is gonna be done tomorrow for 10 days in a row and they will not give us a rental car even though our insurance rental days were almost up (we return the rental with 12 hours left) This dealership does not care about the customer. The day after we got the car back, we noticed there was still missing parts which has been ordered by the dealership however and we still haven t received the parts or hear how much longer we will be waiting. It s hard enough dealing with a recovered stolen car and all the paperwork time and effort working with insurance, but the easiest part should ve been dropping off the car having it repaired and returned to us, and that proved to be the most difficult things to Kia of Mentor.

I brought my car in for some engine work after purchasing it from another dealership. Not only did they fix the problem at no cost but they notified me of any other issues needing attention. They finished my car in a reasonable amount of time even over a holiday weekend. The service manager was extremely friendly and my tech was great. Thank you all for helping me.

**** EDIT***** Brian from Ganley Kia reached out to us today. He was very professional and apologized and wasn t happy with our experience. We have had constant communication with the dealership today. I am starting to believe the service writers are just very busy and we re struggling to keep up which I understand. I explained that a simple call or text is all I need, hey, still working on the issue, maybe another week or two that s all I need. If they continue to make this right, I will be changing my review. I am understanding of being busy, and I believe Brian took care of the communication issues I was having with the service department. Read the yelp reviews! Read the Google reviews that aren t happy people the day they bought their car! The service department is the absolute WORST. We dropped my wife s Sorento off on February 21st. I have called 13 times looking for an update (car had not moved since we dropped it off) each time I was transferred to Kyle then James (or Jamie) I left voicemail after voicemail. No return calls. So yesterday 3/6/24 I took to social media, then all the sudden we get a phone call from a manager he is upset tells my wife we are ruining his livelihood with my posts. He Promised my wife he would call this morning with an update 3/7/2024 guess what! The car was started, moved in the parking lot annnnndddd no call. I have been blocked on all their social media so instead of an easy phone call, with an update, I will continue to spread my experience, and so will all my social media friends and family.

The sales guy I had was friendly and helpful, however when I was quoted for a warranty that I described I wanted it was for a lower package, at signing I found out I needed to upgrade and add cost to get the warranty I was actually wanting.Also have had mechanical issues pop up since pulling off the lot within just 2 days... Park sensors giving an error and air suspension giving a service required message. These should have been addressed prior to the sale. Neither of these occurred at my initial test drive.

I will give two stars because everyone we spoke to said as friendly but oh my gosh if you are expecting quick service or communication about what s happening with your vehicle, please find yourself somewhere else. I brought my car in on February 21 for an issue that has been ongoing and I have had it there previously several times before. Each time I was told the problem was fixed when indeed it was not. on Friday of the next week I called for an update on my car since no one had bothered to let me know anything. When I called, I talked to a gentleman who said the car was noted as done, but they were no notes and that he would talk to Kyle and Kyle would give me a call back to update. come Monday there is no update so we started to call again. This is when the fun began call. Leave messages call leave messages. Kyle never returned our calls and I was always told that the car was being worked on, but I could see in my app that the car had not even been unlocked or moved. Anyone I spoke to gave me the same exact response and I kept being told that we would be contacted by Kyle after so much frustration. My husband decided to post a review on their Facebook post since there is no option to leave it on their page. Within five minutes of that I was called by a gentleman named Brian, who told me that reviews like that could ruin his livelihood, and this is how he pays his mortgage. I thought that that was very unprofessional and the first question out of his mouth should have been. What can I do to help you? I explained the situation and how frustrated we were and at that point I just wanted to know that my car had not been stolen . I was told that if my husband took down the reviews they could call me the next day with a new rental since mine had a very strong odor and an update on the car. I did not get a call until a few days later, which is when Kyle finally called us back. I was told that the car was being worked on and from then I was given updates on the vehicle. I was told that the vehicle was fixed as of yesterday, 3/14. I picked up the vehicle, brought it home and this morning when I went to use the app to start it, I received the exact same message that I have been receiving all along which is what they supposedly fixed. After having it there several times and being told that this issue was fixed I decided to call today and just ask for all of the paperwork so I can find a different Kia dealership to work on this. I understand it may not be an easy issue to fix, but I would really appreciate if it had actually been fixed before being given back to me, and that communication would ve been more clear and way more professional.

Absolutely impeccable!!! Salesman Mike Pawlowski was attentive without being pushy. He knew our needs (purchasing our daughter's first car), our budget, and our concerns. He worked hard to ensure that our needs were met, and our daughter loves her car! Mike was not overbearing at all!
