I was hunting for a place to get tires and some work done, didn t know who to trust. I was talking about finding a place and a guy named Troy said come over to Rad Air, we ll take care of you!I was greeted by Chuck, who took care of everything. Their diagnostics and commitment to providing excellence in every thing they do was something I hadn t seen in decades. They went over my high mileage vehicle, found the real cause of my problems and with my permission, fixed everything at a fair price, saved me hundreds!I was extremely pleased with the results of their American Car Care commitment, I ll never go anywhere else!

Best advice I can give is to listen to the bad reviews written about this place. I went for a diagnosis on my cars AC and they told me that they think had a huge leak but they couldn't actually find it. Then recommend that I spend $400 dollars to recharge my AC so it would last "the rest of the summer". A charge should last atleast two or three years not a few months. In short I just gave them $80 for them to tell me I should pay $400 just for AC to go out again cause of that "pretty big leak" that they can't find. Chuck got pretty defensive when pressed about the repairs. Just save you're money and go to a good mechanic with actual answers

First time customer, owner not just service writer ,he s been a mechanic his entire , very friendly , personable, knowledgeable, I installed all new suspension on 70 Torino took it for alignment , steering wheel is perfectly straight car tracks perfect , Chuck noticed car rolled in park and adjusted trans linkage . Very reasonable . I ll be back soon when my other project car is done , THANKS CHUCK ! Finally found great service that seems so rare todayService: Wheel alignment

We had used Rad Air several times and was pleased with them. Then I sent my wife in with my pick up and Chuck's estimate was 380.00 something. The part he said was 189.00 and 2 hours labor. I bought the part and fuel filter for 80.00. I installed the part and the filter in 45 minutes. I had to remove the spare tire and put it back because it was in the way.Service: Auto maintenance

Over priced. I waited from 8am till 1:30 pm to have a ball joint replaced.I was charged $40.00 to locate the source of an oil leak that they couldn't find. The told me I needed a gear box that I didn't need. They refused to issue a refund for not being able to find the source of the oil leak.I'll never trust them after this.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Took my civic to get ac diagnosed and left with 80 dollars less and no answers. Charles the owner was rude and condescending. Said it had a big leak but wasn't able to locate it. Apparently he's been doing it for 40 years....must have spent most of his years just changing parts instead of actually diagnosing.

Not only were our air conditioning repairs completed at a very fair price...but Chuck (this shop's manager) got us in and out within 2 days, a very reasonable amount of time. We will definitely come back to this location!

I used Rad Air in Medina to give the A/C on my 1967 Mustang a check up. They were very honest and transparent about the condition of my system. They didn t try to create issues with my system and were honest and open. I have been going here for many years. The owner, Chuck, is a fantastic guy! He's knowledgeable, personable, reasonable with his pricing and the work that he, Dan and the other guys in the shop do is top notch and guaranteed. I cannot recommend this car service shop highly enough. I trust no one else to work on my vehicles. I just love Chuck, Dan and the whole shop! They are more than worth the drive from Akron!!

Had a really great experience. They were kind, informative, and took time to listen to and address my concerns. I felt like I was in a community oriented business which means a lot to me. Chuck and the Rad Air Medina team did a great job for me. They fixed the air-conditioning in my car when two other companies could not figure out the problem. I know very little about cars and Chuck took the time to explain the problem, how it was fixed, and that the job is warrantied. He answered all my questions in a friendly and easy to understand manner - he really knows cars!. All the folks there are very polite and helpful. I have recommended Rad Air Medina to my family and friends and they are all happy with the service.

I am so grateful for the prompt service, communication and all-around professionalism of Dave & everyone at Rad Air. Having multiple car issues at once is stressful and they made the process so much easier. They were even kind enough to drive me home & back to the shop; saving me money on an Uber.Thank you guys, and you ll absolutely be getting my business again in the future. They do not even deserve the one star I've given them. Terrible customer service, awful communication and a the owner seemed enjoy our dissatisfaction. A quick google search lead me to Rad Air. There are so many other choices in the area I could have went with and should have went with. I just don't understand why it is so hard it is to be friendly and communicate professionally. Chuck, If my routine service was not enough for you and your bottom line then you should have just told me to go somewhere else. If I am asking to schedule an appointment with you and you say "1" why would I assume that means you take lunch at 1. Extremely strange, unfriendly, unprofessional phone call should have been enough of a red flag.So I called to schedule an appointment. I reached who I assume is the owner (Chuck) and he mumbles something about 8 the next morning. I say my wife is bringing it in and is looking for something in the afternoon, he grunts 1 (pm) I said great, explained what the car needed and that was pretty much it. Kind of a weird phone conversation but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to rotate a tires and do an oil change, right?Well, my wife shows up at 12:45pm with our 2 year old in tow. Guy says, I told your husband we take lunch at 1. She is like uhm okay and gives him the keys thinking they will work on it soon, like right after lunch. She kills time for 90 minutes walking around town with our son. When she heads back to the shop to see the car is coming along, it is untouched. Annoyed she asked for the keys back. She calls me telling me what the deal was and how the owner reacted, basically laughing at her. Very unprofessional to say the least. If you can't get to the car then say it. It is that simple. First time in my life I have taken the time to give a bad review. Awful.

I do a tremendous amount of highway driving between states and Chuck and the boys have never let me down. I go on long trips right after having the car serviced and have never had an issue or have had my car break down. They even top off my fluids and tire pressure without asking or charging me. I've been going to Chuck for years and trust him with all my vehicles.

Don't ever take your car to Chuck over at this place. My fiance took her car there to get a clutch replaced and the clutch only lasted like 6 months because the flywheel should have been replaced too which they never told us. Even though the clutch was under warranty they still charged her labor and we had to buy a whole new clutch kit with flywheel costing us another $850 even though we just spent $1100.....After they replaced the second clutch and quoted us $365 for labor, she goes in and he charged her another $21 on top of that because he had to add hydraulic fluid which only costs $3 for a whole bottle at any auto parts store. If you want your car fixed right and not ripped off by CHUCK.....DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! EVER!!!!!!

Chuck and team are knowledgeable, courtesy and serve their customers like family. Turn around time for car service and repair always completed in a timely manner with a sense of urgency. Rad Air in Medina has been servicing our vehicles for over 12 years.

I've been taking my cars, my wife's cars, my son's cars, and my daughter in-law's cars here for years. Chuck is a good guy and really tries hard to help the customer. I'm mechanically inclined (used to be a tool and die maker), I usually do my own brakes, oil, etc. When I take the car to Chuck it's because it's too big of a job for me or I don't have time (or tools) to do it. My wife works for Firestone and gets a discount for being an employee. RadAir's quotes are often lower than Firestone even after the discount! I never hesitate to recommend people to use RadAir in Medina. They're clearly better than any big name service station in the area. I'm sad to read the few bad reviews here as these are not experiences I've had or even can imagine having - I suspect confusion.

I would run away from this place fast as possible gave my a estimate of over 1300 to fix my car got 2 other estimates from local shops in medina and outside of medina got my car fixed for 685 otd!! Wow he tried to charge 680 to fix air got it done for 400 wanted 280 for o2 censor paid 143 i can keep going but i said enough..RUN AWAY DONT LET HIM DIAGNOSE YOUR CAR EITHER 89 DOLLARS..EVERY WHERE ELSE IS FREE THAT SHOULD BEEN MY CLUE TO RUN THEY HAVE TO CHARGE THAT BECAUSE ANY SANE PERSON WILL LAUGH IN THEIR FACE

They said it would take about an hour and that's exactly how long it took. Reasonable, fair prices. I appreciated the free candy bar that came with my purchase.

Ever since i've been bringing my car here i've felt a sense of security and trust which is a gem in itself. Until one day I brought my car in for a problem with my windshield fluid, which needed repaired from underneath the car. I was beyond words when Chuck said no charge. Who says that anymore? I was actually speachless for once! Thanks for proving that dinosaurs still exist Chuck! Beyond words! EDIT........ MY HOW TIME, MONEY AND POPULARITY CAN CHANGE PEOPLE!!!! THE WORK AND ATTACHMENT I HAD DONE TO MY WINDSHIELD FLUID UNDERNEATH MY HOOD THAT I PAID FOR CAME OFF WHICH WAS VERY ANNOYING TO ME ESPECIALLY AFTER 2 SPINAL SURGERIES. ONCE I WAS RELEASED TO DRIVE AGAIN I CONTACTED CHUCK AND HE SAID SURE, WE'LL SQUEEZE YOU IN TOMORROW AROUND 2 BECAUSE I TOLD HIM I CAN'T JUST JUMP OUT OF BED AND GET THERE. PLUS MY TIRE WAS LOW. THAT MORNING I CALLED AND HE SAID: "NAW, I'M NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO TO THAT FOR YOU TODAY." EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY PAID THEM TO FIX IT ONCE, I STOPPED CALLING AROUND SINCE HE SAID YES HE WOULD. SO THEN I HAD TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. I GUESS BEING SO POPULAR CAN RUIN YOU BECAUSE HE USED TO BE A REALLY NICE GUY, THAT COVERED THEIR WORK ON TOP OF HIS CHARACTER. SMH

2 days to fix a flat tire. ANDDDD that was AFTER my daughter went and sat up there, & told them that she had 3 people that had to get to work, & that she should have just taken it to Walmart who for SURE had her "REGULAR SIZE " minivan tire
