I have taken my Jeep here several times for routine work, nothing short of fantastic, honest service! My brakes messed up on the way home one evening and they let me drop it off on my way home. I had a quote for repairs before I got home and work was done early the next day. Fair priced, honest work.

Had oil change done a couple weeks ago. I asked them to check oil leaks and clunking noise in rear. They didn't quote or say there would be an additional charge for looking. At pickup, they charged me an additional $80.00 for the checkout charge and never provided an itemized list of necessary repairs and costs. Best part of my visit was the free loaner car.

Really great auto service, no hassle what so ever. We are happy with the tire service and struts and shock replacements made. I would absolutely trust Scott and Chad at Jerold family Auto if you are In or near Medina Ohio.

I've done 95% of the maintenance on our cars for the last 40 years. We have a driveway of complicated German cars. From regular fluid changes to total restorations. However, when I lack time, tools or skills necessary to do the work this is the shop I go to. It's the only shop in our area I trust to not screw up our cars. Every time I've EVER gone to another shop it's been a costly disaster. The guys are accurate, precise, fair and most of all honest. They'll even let me know the "Book Time" estimate a repair will take even when I DIY it. When everyone else has told me they are booked until next week Harold's has always been able to get us in the same day and get our car fixed that day. On top of that the prices and service is great. I would highly recommend them to anyone in Medina. Great job Harold Family and thanks for the great service!

I perform 90% of my auto maintenance myself. I've been working on cars for over 40 years. When I don't have the time or the tools to do repairs or maintenance I take our cars here. We have ALL VWs & Audis. They ARE different engineering, most shops won't even look at them. The folks here a top notch. Great Service, knowledgable, friendly, courteous and conscientious.

Steve, Scott & Brian I can't thank you enough for taking car of my truck. A lot of work to do and they made a plan & executed it perfectly. Still stuff to do but it rides like new. I am so happy to have a place where I can feel heard and understood and listened to when I have an issue with my car.If you are looking for the shop that will explain things and not take advantage of you look no further Herold Family Automotive is the Place for you.The use of the FREE loaner was awesome & they addressed my concerns and let me know what was priority and what could wait. if I could give you 5,000,000 stars I would.Hats off to you gentleman for a FANTASTIC job & thanks for delivering it when I couldn't leave the office.

First time customer here. I called to make an appointment for an oil change and after talking to Scott I immediately had a good feeling about this place. He was polite, knowledgeable and accommodating with my very busy schedule. The service was fast and thorough. Scott provided me with a print out about my vehicle and went over all the details with me. Overall a great experience with service that goes the extra mile. Hands down the best in the area! I recently went in for an oil change. I was extremely pleased with how polite and nice all employees were, how clean the waiting area is and how fast they were! The quality of this place is above and beyond! They even gave me a print out of my tire wear and thickness for my records and to show me first hand. I highly recommend Herold family auto!

They got me in quickly and made all repairs on the same day. Communication was very strong throughout the experience and everyone was friendly - when I walked past the garage, the mechanics all said hello despite being busy at work. They get the little details right and those matter just as much as the big ones. They even checked in with me after I had my car back to make sure I was happy with my service. My car drives more smoothly now than when I first bought it. I cannot recommend them enough!Services: Wheel alignment, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Wow! I ve never in my life experienced this level of care, respect and friendliness from a car repair shop. If you don t know anything about cars like myself, go here. They will treat you well and make you and your car feel important. Completely hassle free quality service! These guys did a great job. Scott was able to get me new tires right away at a great price. They also did some unexpected front end repairs..they greased all my suspension and steering parts, inspected everything, and informed me on how everything was. My truck is driving better than when i bought it. Our first experience with Herold's was great, our second not so much. I thought I needed my air compressor replaced. Scott was happy to fit us in and get it taken care of but the AC was still not working. Apparently I had a leak, no one checked my car. They just replaced it. I was told I didnt ask him to look at it, I asked him to fix it so he did. I have never heard of a place taking the word of a NON mechanic, not only was it a waste of money for our family but also a loss in business for their company. If they would have looked at the car, they would see more potential business. I will not return.

Perfect the first time. 5 star Then, they got greedy and tried to over charge for a fuel pump. The Mercedes dealer did it for a 1000 less than I was quoted. Never again.

My car wouldn t start last week and my regular mechanic was on vacation, so I had it towed here because of the great reviews.I got a call that they were able to start my car just fine and I could pick it up. I was skeptical, but I m not a mechanic so I picked up my car.Today, I drove my car out to Akron and when I tried to come home my car wouldn t start. I had my car towed to my regular mechanic and he told me my starter needs to be replaced.This stressful incident and $75 tow could ve been prevented had they just looked at it when it was in their shop rather than sending me on my way.

A friend of mine noticed that my rotors had grooves in them and told me I needed to go get that looked at ASAP. After searching through Google I found this company and saw that that had great reviews so I called. They were very nice on the phone and made me an appointment for the next day. The shop was clean and professional and I was thankful to the man at the desk for wearing his mask in these times. Within a few minutes they let me know the results of what I needed and how long it would take and an hour later I had new brakes and I was on my way. I was thankful that they could get me in so quickly my brakes are working great and I feel safe. I would definitely use this company again in the future and pass along to my family and friends who need services of this kind.Service: Brakes

This place is a scam. Dropped my car off at 8am picked it up at 130 pm nothing done. Was feed excuses no solutions. But I should have known, thought it was weird Scott didn't even ask me my tire size over the phone.

Took our 2016 Jeep Cherokee in for new tires, they provided affordable options. Also had new brake pads and rotors done. Back on a week later for an oil change. Discounts were available. Great service and communications. They saved me hundreds of dollars by doing the work on my vehicle that was needed instead of what I assumed was the problem, which I had been told by another much more expensive service provider. I very much highly recommend Herold Family Automotive in Medina. There pricing is fair and above all honest. I always feel that they put my happiness and satisfaction first as a customer. Steve is great and is always happy to explain what is wrong at an easy to understand level. They stand behind their work 100% and are great to work with.

I've gone to this repair facility on 2 recent occasions,� one for an oil change and the second a rear brake job. On both occasions the customer service was first rate. Additionally� I found their prices very competitive if not better than the local competition. Lastly, the quality of the work was really good. They even provided me with a loaner vehicle to use while they repaired my brakes due to them having to wait for the parts to arrive. Great job guys you've earned my business.Eric C.

I was leaving Ohio to go back to Indiana and broke down on 71 going south. My sister looked them up because they were close to where I was. Had my tow truck drop me off around 430pm and they closed at 5pm. Asked if it would be done today they told me no. I explained to them I was from out of town and had to be back on the road the next day to get back home for work. They opened at 730am the next day and said they would call when they were finished. By 8am they had called and said it was ready to go. No time wasted getting the job done. They understood the assignment and executed. Made me feel like I was a priority and no matter what the price that s what matters in their business. You the customer is their number one priority. Thank you !! I ll be back in town again this up coming week for about 2 weeks and I may stop by to have them look at a few things.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Engine repair

I called and they took my car in right away, they had my car for one day and repaired. Scott at the desk was great, polite, friendly and personable and kept in touch with me throughout the repair.
