Got stuck off of the road doing some fiber optic splicing. Called Ankenbrandts and they came super quick and winched (a bucket truck and splicing trailer attached) back on to the road with ease. Guys were very friendly and efficient. Thanks again for getting me back on the road!!

Heading into Perrysburg 24 and our tire blew. They were prompt, friendly and took care of the job. I have no idea how they could have anything less than a five star review.

Such an amazing service. My car drove fine one minute and then all of a sudden it wouldn't start. Ankenbrandts came and picked it up and got it up and running again for me. And all for a very reasonable price. Couldn't he happier with them.

These people came to pick up my car when they weren't supposed to, because I was unable to give them complete information. I got home and a man was dragging my little sports car across my driveway by a hook.the car was in 1st gear and the emergency brake on. Told them to stop. Called Tim the owner next day and he defended his driver the company i called to do the job, did it way way differently, and did not hurt my car. Be careful who you choose to tow your car.Service: Special vehicle towing

I got pulled over cop asked to search my car I said no so he removed me and put me in his cop car and called this company to tow my car just so they could take inventory of my car but they were not they were searching it cuz they had 3 other sherriffs looking in my car they walked over said no drugs which definitely sounds like a search for drugs not inventory but the tow company i called to ask about my car they told me to call the sherriffs and ask them and 36 hours later they are saying to get it out is 375 then every time my mom called they kept upping the price now ots nearly 500 to get out and they said they won't release it unless we have someone to tow it and if they have to tow it its 275 dollars that they charge for a tow absolutely rediculous

This place is truly amazing! The staff were VERY kind to me when I was in an extremely distressing situation while on a small roadtrip. Dylan [a mechanic there] was not only super professional but also took no time repairing my vehicle for what needed done. He made me feel confident I would be safe when I had a 2 hour drive yet ahead of me. Another young man actually brought my car to me after. The secretary was super friendly as well and their prices were quite reasonable. If I could have tipped Dylan $100 I would have easily! It's strange to read any negative comments on this place. Perhaps "those" people didn't give "these" people the respect they deserve?BEST REPAIR SHOP EVER! My only regret is they aren't located in my town. I would recommend them to everyone. I bragged to the clerk at my hotel about them. I hope they suggest them as well!

$800 for a tow!!! Forced to use them because they were sent by police and they intentionally over charged. They were so rude and total swindlers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

No one else in town would help us. We were driving back to Michigan from New York and the truck started to violently rattle. We have two days to get me to Chicago to fly home to start a new job on Monday. Every place we went to just wouldn t give us the time of day, not evens quick diagnostic, even after explaining our situation. The staff at Ankenbrandts told us to come right over. David the mechanic was right out with the diagnostics computer and within minutes new exactly what needed to be done. (Not even knowing our situation) The repairs were approved and within an hourish, and we were on the road again. If you re in need of repairs, skip the rest. The staff here are our new favorite humans! Thank you so much!!!

Nasty lady. Asked how long till they could get here. Her reply how ever long it takes to get there from here . Told my insurance company they had to charge more because two men had to come, because my van had to be jacked up more. Huh. Ok one kid came in a pickup asked where his helper was, he said he didn t have one. Ummm ok. SO asked for a receipt, he didn t have that with him. Told me he would adjust the price and email it. Yup he emailed. No price adjustment. 90 dollars. Five minutes. Would NOT recommend them. Left everything tossed everywhere from getting the tire saver out. Left it that way.Service: Tire change

Tow man did not want to help anymore after I asked how long would it be as he responded with well how long did your insurance give you and then as I responded if I knew I would not have called you & he told my insurance he did not want to do my tow no more because my language. Not a welcoming man/company when it comes to towing stress having kids involved as well!!!! Now waiting longer he was the only one my insurance could find!!!

I hit a deer as I left work. Needed a tow from Maumee to white family collision in Sylvania. Onstar called this company and when the driver showed up, i told him where my Camaro needed to go. He informed me that it would not be going there, that it needed to go to their lot instead. I was in shock and didn't have the mind to question him. Should have called J&J's myself. They ended up holding my car for 4 days. Crystal, the woman in the office, stated white family collision told them to bring it Monday, since they'd be closed. I called white. They said they never told ankenbrandt that and they have a key drop. This was their way of jacking up the tow to a full on storage, totalling over $500. I do not recommend. Call a different company. Such a shame, they took advantage of an older woman who was in distress, just to get a bigger slice of the pie.Service: Car towing

The guy who answered the phone was the only tow available at 730 on a Saturday morning and he brought my car home safely. Was a bit pricey though and didn't tell how much it would cost until the tow was done and the card was charged.

Tim jr is always the one that helps me. I enjoy buying cars from there and he also answers questions anything you have them. Great company!

Good service and would recommend them to anyone. They allowed me to schedule (and even reschedule) a pick up time to have my vehicle towed from my home to my desired location without me even having to be there. All transactions were completed over the phone.

Not only does Tim own and operate his towing company, he sells used cars. He has a ton of different choices and he's willing to work with you. As far as I'm aware no car is unworthy to be offered up as a trade in. He's a very helpful and trustworthy guy. I'd definitely take a look at his stock if you're looking for a used car!

My son crashed his car on Saturday @8am we went there on Monday, around 9ish and. they haven't gotten to any of the crashes from the weekend. Today is Thursday 3 days later and still haven't heard a think about his car and how much we owe for the toe or storage.

These people came out to tow a car next door...then proceeded to alter things on my property to do his job. What ticked me off is, he then left! Without putting things back the way it was. I called the shop to let them know. The owner told it wasn't his truck! Really!!! I only watched them the whole time...not to mention the number I called came from his truck!!! I also told him I have a disability, it's difficult for me to get around. You would of thought he would if nothing else Apologize...Thanks for nothingThen later writing a response...PETTY ! l expected the same. If it was JUST a garbage CAN you would think he could have taken care of it! NOT! Looking for better people to deal with!!!

Long time local business. They have performed several major maintenance and repair items on my '09 Honda Odyssey, each has worked as promised. Very reasonable rates and just nice people!

I've been using Ankenbrandt's for over twenty years In my world, if you find a good company you stick with them. Then tonight my car went on the fritz, overheated fuse block burned a connector. So i called my go to people: Ankenbrandt. Nice lady, took down the info and said someone would be out. Hot day, no air and no facilities around, i waited an hour and a half with nobody showing. Called and was told my truck was diverted to a crash. No one called to tell me this. Great service guys. So now it'll be another hour. Contacted a friend to use a AAA tow. AAA on their way, i called Ankenbrandt to cancel, but the call won't go through. "Voicemail not set up". So, 20 minutes of trying with no answering, about 7 attempts. But i carry two phones, so i called on the other and got right through. My calls were being blocked on the other line. That was more than enough to sever my business relationship. Plenty of companies operate better than this.

They are amazing! They made my front bumper look brand new in no time! And it didnt even cost me an arm and a leg! Definitely recommend and will be going back

Took my jeep for a clutch job. Nothing i said or they determined to be wrong got fixed. Test drove the jeep after they said it was fixed but the problem was the same. Chrystal (secretary) is incompetent and a liar. Tim Jr and his mom (Cherry) are liars. Tim Sr is a very nice person. Stay away from Cherry, Tim Jr, and Chrystal.

Advertisment says open 8 am..Sign in lobby says 8 am ..yet no one arrived until 8:30 am and said office wouldn't open until 9..office Girl will be in abt 9:15 am and paper work would take till 9:30...and that's what happened..auto was taken in on Friday abt 11:30 pm..yet they charged Friday as aa dayBig Rip Off..and Denied they open at 8 am when I'm standing right there looking at the Sign

I've only used them for tows to the mechanic but, both times they arrived in a very timely manner. The driver was very polite and helpful both times and the charge was reasonable and consistent. I'd recommend using them to anyone in the area.

Tow part was great,but as far automotive service I was a loyal customer for few years now,but I now know currently they are unable to repair your car at this time,best of luck to you all. Thank you

Ok, so my car ran out of gas and these guys towed my car in less than 30min right before i got back with gas for it. Now they are closed until tuesday and still charge $25 a day regardless. How is this even right. How can this owner even sleep at night knowing how bad he hurts people and their families?

Due to the recent snow storm i had busted a leaf spring on my work job trailer i was referred to ankenbrandts by someone else so i called them for the tow they out my trailer on a flatbed and when they did they scraped the back of the trailer and tore off the molding and bend the aluminum, i called them about it and they asked me to bring it by so they could see the damage, they day i went by there shop a guy came out (im assuming the owner) was already all mad that i was even there, like how dare i question them. anyways he glanced at the damage quickly then started walking around my trailer pointing out every little thing wrong with it "well what about this dent and what about that" and i told him that wasn't a issue and he stated "do you ever wash this thing" meanwhile talking down to me like i was wasting his time and because my trailer was dirty from the road and it has a couple dings it i was suppose to just forget that they damaged my trailer. finally after realizing he wasn't going to do anything about this not even say im sorry or anything, i told him forget about it and i would never refer them to anyone, so therefor i do NOT recommend this company they made no effort to keep my business even after my $175 towing bill...
