My car was stranded in Lowes parking lot overnight. Called them and within 2 hours had a tow truck ready and by the time I got back to the car they pretty much were just waiting for me to start the car. Time estimate I gave them for me being there was dead on so he was just ready. On top of it just had a very pleasant man work with my extremely limited car knowledge and was in and out somewhere between 5-10 minutes. If I'm in the area again with a bad incident like that I'd be surprised if I didn't call them again.Service: Car towing

Do not do business with this place. They are a predator towing company. They took a car from a accident scene with out the owners consent. They also changed more than double the rate to release the car. Company's like this should have legal action taken against them.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Dale is a true professional. They never oversell the customer and they are honest with the cost of repairs and the value left on your car. We have lived here 22 years and Barnes has repaired and towed us. If you fear the dealership or worry about your child on the side of the road, call Barnes. I have utilized Barnes for towing and mechanic services for years. Cannot thank them enough for their quality work and honesty. If you are looking for an honest auto mechanic go here! I asked Dale if I should get new brakes and he could ve taken advantage and said yes but he recommended a cleaning and oil instead. Great folks here.

My car had been stolen and it was taken here. Clearly, I was already hurt and upset with all things considered when picking it up and the man who I dealt with there acted as if my car being there and me being there was messing up his day and putting him out. I get it, it's a car shop and these guys don't strive for the best customer service. Their lot is extremely small and when I went to pay them I had to wait until that evening for another person to drive with me there to get it home (because I can't drive two cars at once). He told me to park it a couple blocks away at another business which could have gotten it towed again. His attitude towards me the whole time was just cold, not very empathetic and dry. They may be a great shop to work on cars, I wouldn't know because he refused to look the car over and do a tune up/oil change on. Maybe he was just having a bad day but I was too and I didn't treat him in the same manner.

Our engine overheated on our drive home to Dayton from the Cincinnati airport, leaving is stranded on the highway shoulder near Mason. We called AAA and we re told it would be 3+ hours for a tow (the heat index was 104 degrees). We couldn t wait it out. We quickly google searched for a local towing company and Barnes was there 20 minutes after we called. They got our car to a service shop just south of Dayton and saved the day. They were very professional and their price was very reasonable considering. Highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance!

The tow service was very fast, very professional. They took my truck to the shop and repaired it very quickly with very affordable prices and honesty. Even though my English is bad haha they were friendly. Without a doubt my first option if I have a car problem.

Great shop, highly recommend to anyone looking. They are always busy, which is a great indication of what kind of mechanics work here, took my car in and they fixed the problem and didn t try and up sell me on a bunch of other repairs my car needs, which is rare to find, they seem to always want to hit you with a second task at most places. Had a similar issue to what I was having, and they took the car in the same day to make it right. Great work, A+ customer satisfaction, keep it up you guys!

I called to have my car towed today. The gentleman on the phone was extremely courteous and professional. He gave me a time frame when someone could come and the worker came out with the tow truck at the expected time. The worker used his knowledge and experience to actually get the car started. He was courteous and professional as well. From my experience, I would definitely recommend them to others.

This morning my car wouldn t start . So I googled towing and found Barnes Auto service offered that . So I called and they were able to get to me quickly . Tested my battery and found it wasn t getting enough voltage but did get it started for me The gentleman called Barnes to see if they could look at my battery better to see if that was the actual problem. He then followed me to Barnes and another gentleman came out and looked at it . Turns out that yes it was the battery so the replaced it for me . Very fast and efficient service . Will definitely recommend them and use them again when I need service.Service: Battery

Got my Chevy serviced here. Downright up front and honest folks here. They allowed us to drop off the truck after hours with their secured drop box and called well before I thought they would the next day telling me it was done.

Barnes has always given us great service at a great price. Not many "small town" type shops left in the world but this is one of them. I'd always rather give business to hometown shops than big corporate chains any day but Barnes definitely earns my business by just being really good. Thanks for the great service. (A friend of mine recommended this shop to me a couple of years ago and I haven't been anywhere else since then).

Fantastic place, honest and value for money. Just an example, asked him to check out a second hand car I purchased and he replaced a few things and did not charge any labor for inspecting the car. Will always go back to them.

My vehicle broke down on Easter while trying to get home to Tennessee. I called first thing Monday morning and spoke with Dale about my car trouble. He was very understanding and honest and helped me find the best solution for my vehicle and situation. I m not from this area but would highly recommend them if you have towing or vehicle service needs. Thanks again, Dale.

Mind the Astroturf, as most of the reviews here must be from friends and family.Towed our car 25 feet from the shoulder due to an icy road without asking. Made no mention of cost and then charged $90. Called and spoke to the uncooperative and unapologetic owner, Dale who said that was half-price . Even more insulting, their shop was only 3500 feet away.If you value your money and integrity, steer clear of Barnes Auto.

Great local mechanic. Dealer estimate was $1000 to replace my Envoy's rear air suspension with coil suspension. A second quote was $450. Dale did it for $100 and I supplied the OEM part for $275. Quick turnaround too.

Great experience with this company today. Set the expectations on the phone and was prompt with tow truck arrival. Went above and beyond to help me out with a tow and vehicle diagnosis. Treated me as if I was family. Highly recommend.

Barnes always has great, friendly service. They will be honest with you on what's actually needed for your vehicle repair, and will not overcharge like so many other repair shops

On my way to kings island I caught a flat, I called Barnes and they estimated arrival time 30 min but the guy came before. He was very professional and nice. He put my spare in within 5 min or less.

I highly recommend Barnes auto. When I called due to a flat they were very prompt and professional. No one wants to be on the side of the road waiting for a tow, but if you need help call Barnes Auto!
