This used to be my favorite bank, never my favorite branch, per se.However.I was charged - no exaggeration - over $800 in NSF fees, (in ONE MONTH), for transactions which were allowed to post to my account when there was no money. My family is going through a tough spot with my son undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia.Rather than having humanity or offering any sort of resolve, when I came to the bank with a check for a few thousand dollars, I was told I could not even get some of that money made available right away. The exact words the associate used was I don t know if you know this but your account is a little upside down right now. And that they could not make any of the money available today.We went to Huntington up the road, and used my ex-fianc� s account to receive a full cash payout for the exact same check.The next day I closed my account. Within this same time window we sold our home for which the mortgage was financed through Mechanics.I was honestly surprised I didn t receive any kind of pushback for closing my account, considering in one month I had likely just paid little Ms. Upside Down s salary for the week.I could and should have switched to the free account years ago, as anytime the balance dipped even a penny below $250 a fee of $10 was assessed to the account. There had even been times when the fee was the reason for the fee.This bank has honestly become a racket, which greatly saddens me considering the good experiences and numerous referrals my family and business associates had through the years. But unfortunately times change, and this local bank would rather bleed you dry and see you homeless as opposed to helping a longtime customer with a family of 5.In addition to those rather concerning problems, we also experienced fees being incorrectly assessed. When I addressed this issue I was told I would have to keep watch and notify the bank when this happens. Now it is my job (and hassle) to make sure you are correctly charging me the unnecessary fees as well. I think not.

Very helpful and friendly staff.Always seem to have more than enough staff to assist customers. Never had a bad experience at the Ashland Road branch. Keep up your high quality of service.

Awful awful customer service, I have accounts at this bank, an the teller refused to give me change because I have no business, an when I told her you know what just give me my things back I'm not worried she threw my things out of the plastic window on the counter. Real nice mechanics bank, I know your desperate for employees, but maybe they need to be more trained in customer service just awful, no wonder no one wants to use mechanics anymore, an I don't blame them, what a bunch of bull ....

This is a great bank. I ve worked with most in the area and this is the friendliest and easiest to work with. They are reasonable and understanding, and the branch has a very welcoming and nice atmosphere.

everyone at this bank is rude nasty and stuck up allthree locations don t try getting your money because there act as if you owe it to them !!! rude rude rude nasty rude never ever will i recommend you to anyone i will tell everyone how unpleasant you guys are to work with all i wanted to do was up my debit card limit and that s always a problem here directions is better !!!
