I am so glad I found HALT auto repair and have been taking my cars there 6 years now. It has been a great experience for me and family and friends that have gone there per my recommendation. I am very particular about my cars and the work is always expertly done at a very reasonable price. What really stands out to me is the integrity of the owner and team to let you know exactly what needs to be done versus items that can wait for a future visit. Their guidance on my car repairs is like the car was theirs and they were paying for it. You can't beat that!

If you want an auto place that will not rip you off and will be honest with you this is your place. I ve been there three times and left happy all three. They will not try to sell you fixes you don t need or want.

I've used HALT for 20+ years and I always recommend their service to family & friends. They're competent, honest, friendly and competitively priced. HALT is the ONLY shop that EVER has told me... "we've inspected your brakes as you requested. We can replace them now but we recommend that you get another 10 K miles of use out of them before replacing. No charge for today's inspection - just come back to us when your cars need service."How can you not love such uncommon honesty?Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Air conditioning

I highly recommend H.A.L.T. to all close family and friends, and to you as well! Best shop in the Cincinnati area as far as kindness, fairness, honesty, and thorough/good work goes(and ive been to a ALOT of shops because I deliver automotive parts). I take my car there for everything as well as my mom s car. They are spot on with diagnostic work, finding the root cause of the issue and keeping your vehicle running smoothly. They very obviously care about their customers in every interaction I ve had/witnessed at Halt. Great people, easy to get along with and the lobby/waiting/check-in area is always very clean and welcoming. Thanks guys for the consistently good work and friendly environment.-Thomas

I had my car checked for road worthiness for an upcoming trip. To scan codes and no other work than a transmission service I was charged $165.82. Scanning codes= $80,Drain and fill transmission fluid= $40.Parts ( fluid) = $34.97The secretary told me my car was not road worthy because of two codes that had to do with engine temp issues. In fact they were interior climate issues as Jake explained who came in later and told me that the car is road worthy. Honesty does not seem a priority.I would never have brought my car here had I known how they function and how much they would charge!!!!!

If you are looking for fantastic quality automotive services, look no further- H.A.L.T Garage is the place to go! They are very honest, making sure that your vehicle is fixed right the first time! I recommend this place to everyone I know! They are very knowledgeable about older and newer vehicles and always make you feel welcome. Give this place a try, and I guarantee that you won't be disappointed!

If I can take my car here, then that's where it's going. They have been my choice for the past 8 years and do an excellent job. They charge a fair price and always go over the repairs and any thing else they have found while inspecting the car.

Once in awhile you re just lucky in life. For me having HALT less than a mile from my house is a good example of one of those lucky realities. Across the years I ve found these guys have been up to whatever diverse automotive challenges I ve brought their way. And now when I ve got issues with a couple of old Hudson s out of the late 40 s and early 50 s Jake is excited to roll up his sleeves and get beneath the hood. When it comes to something like automotive services, it takes time to develop a sense of trust that a place is looking out for me first and foremost. Henry would be proud to see how his legacy of skill, integrity and good ole hard work lives on in Maineville.

I'm thankful a place like this exists. They've worked on my families cars for years and have always been extremely kind and helpful.I've always thought they're out for my best interests. In the past they've deferred me to cheaper options that didn't include them.They're definitely worth your business.

This place is awesome! I came here for a strange metallic grinding sound in my front brakes and they quickly found out the problem and fixed it for a very reasonable price! I would recommend this garage over any other Cincinnati mechanic I've been to.

We take my car, my wife's car, my kids' car. They are thorough, reliable and honest. I wish they did tires too, because I no longer trust any tire place.

They were quick to diagnose what our truck needed, quick to fix and didn't try to up sale a lot of unnecessary things or scare me. They were very friendly, too.
