We were traveling and found ourselves with a flat tire. After being turned down by multiple other repair shops, this business was able to to help us. They were extremely kind and professional. Great price, quick service. The facility was clean too. Would recommend to anyone

I went here to have a tire rotation completed. The service was free since the tires were purchased there. They also took a look at my brakes, as they were squealing, and found nothing wrong to hinder the functioning of them. They didn't charge me for inspecting my brakes either. Very friendly and they had my car done in less than 30 minutes.

I have always found Bob Sumerel to be a decent alternative to a dealership, especially outside the manufacturer's warranty period/mileage. They are very reasonable in terms of Labor cost and have always done a wonderful job. I have always carried AAA membership for roadside assistance and ever since AAA took over Bob Sumerel, I'm even more confident and happier with my choice. I have used their buy 2/get 2 tire promotion (which they offer every year) at least 3 times so far. The Mainville location has a friendly staff and I'm very satisfied with their service.

Got an oil change here, alright price and quick service. There's a kids area with some books and puzzles in the waiting area, very helpful when you have to bring the kids along.

Not a good experience. We were an hour away from home. We got a screw in our tire. We stopped there for help. They were closing in 15 minutes and wouldn t fix our tire. We drove down the street to Bridgetown and they took great care of us.

Took my truck in to put on the serpentine belt the part was kind of high but I bought the apartment myself and they put it on. Need to add it part and they told me went from 150 to 300. But went to pick it up and told me they did it for 270 which is good anytime you say so I definitely recommend them for being honest

I have never met a more honest set of people in my life that work on cars. I've had the worst day and they made it 100% better. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone, you won't receive better service anywhere.

I ve been to Bob Sumerel for brakes, oil changes, and now a coolant system issue. Every person I ve dealt with has been friendly and knowledgeable, and truly makes me feel comfortable and confident using them for my auto repairs. Highly recommend!

This is a newer business so I haven't really done business with him at this location but I did buy tires and had some work done at another Bob Sumerel the work was reasonably priced and done quickly and correctly. I did however stop at this location one day because my tires were a little low on air in the spring so I asked the manager are and they actually took my car and topped off all four tires absolutely free and they were very nice so yeah I would go back it's hard to find a good place to get work done on your car and people you trust

This is one of my MOST favourite car repair shops!!! Specifically this one here in Mainville, the guys are both friendly and helpful!!! They know what they're doing, they do it well, and in reasonable time with good prices. Their one mechanic, Patrick Kuhlman is one of the mechanics there but they're all pretty awesome! The best thing about Bob Sumerel, is that if you have AAA, you get a discount, so rad

I have been going to other oil change places because I honestly had no idea Bob Sumeral was back here. It's a bit hard to see from the street. I will continue going there because I was greeted by some of the most friendly people I've ever had change my oil. They weren't pushy with anything and the prices were actually about 15 dollars cheaper than what I paid at Midas.They aren't open on Sundays and do walk ins and appointments.Great staff. Great service. See you in 3 months

Not real impressed with customer service. Had a tire repaired and still had an issue. Went back a few weeks later with the same problem and was told they could get me in the following day or two days later. After m,any years of having my car serviced I felt this was not right. Expecially since it was and "existing" issue.Left and went to another large tire dealer and everything was taken care of in 30 minutes. At that time I also saw where the other tire dealer had extremely good pricing on oil changes and tire rotation. Sorry Bob Sumerel my business is gone.

Avoid going here at all costs. The mechanics here said that I desperately needed a new hub bearing on the front driver's side of my truck. I let them work on it, and I paid for it. 4 months later my truck started making odd noises when I brake, and I took it to a small mom-and-pop mechanic...they said that the front driver's side bearing was bad, and it was never even replaced or worked on. I called Bob Sumerel back to see what was going on, and they affirmed that they never even worked on my bearings or installed a new hub bearing...even though that was the main problem that they said they fixed (and I paid for it). Now I'm having issues getting refunded for the costs that they charged me, even though they have a "2 year warranty" on the work that they do.Truthfully, if you want a fair and honest analysis of your vehicle and you don't want to be cheated, I recommend a smaller, private mechanic over these big chains. I've been very pleased with the work of several small-town, honest and fair mechanics. Bob Sumerel is very pricey, and they will cheat you if they get the chance. I'm glad I took my truck in to a different mechanic, because I was driving on a bad bearing for months thinking that it was fixed. I'm lucky that further damage wasn't done to my truck..even worse, driving on bad bearings puts the lives of the driver, passengers, and nearby drivers at risk.

Very accommodating staff that is great to work with. We had an ongoing problem with my husband's car and had to keep bringing it back because "it keeps making that noise". The guys were great about taking the time to investigate it, make their best guess as to the problem and they did not charge us. I don't hesitate to take my car there for any issue that has or may crop up in the future.

UPDATE - They are now able to lift Teslas, and mentioned that they have the hockey pucks and know how to lift them properly. I've taken previous ICE cars here and continue to take my wife's ICE car here and have never had an issue, so I'm updating my review to 5-stars.Original review (now incorrect):They won't install tires on Tesla Model 3's, despite advertising that they work on "all makes and models". They say their lifts can't go low enough.

Stopped in on Saturday to get 4 tires, I was told they would have to get the tires from the warehouse and they would call me on Monday morning to schedule a time Monday afternoon to install them. I never received the call as promised and when I called them at noon they said let me check if they came in. He returned to the phone and said they got them and I could make an appointment for Tuesday to have them installed. I hate it when they tell you they will contact you and they don't and then won't keep the time for the install. Being able to have them put on Monday afternoon was one of the biggest reasons I went ahead and ordered them form Bob Sumerel Tire. I won't be going back here anytime soon.

We had to be towed there from the highway but they were great! Prices were competitive and the people very friendly and honest.

I brought our family's mini-van in January 2014 after our dealership told us there was a screw in the tire. This was after our tire pressure light kept illuminating. The dealership didn't elaborate on the severity of the puncture - and in fact wanted to sell us 2 replacement tires (insisting that there should be a pair that matched on our vehicle). Since we got 4 new tires only recently at Bob Sumerel, we returned there again instead. It's not a good feeling to just buy new tires, only to have one go bad soon after - but when the mechanics at Bob Sumerel took a look, I was advised the damage was in a repairable location on the tire, and it was fixed for much less. Let me tell you - ethical and friendly people in business are harder and harder to find these days. Bob Sumerel could have easily told us we needed a replacement tire, and we would not have known the difference. Instead, the mechanics were honest and helped our family save money. These are the things that inspire repeat business - and positive word-of-mouth testimony for new business. Thank you.

Had a flat tire repaired here recently. While my car was in their shop, they said I needed a rear brake job too. Since it was the weekend, and I had to work night shifts I trusted them (mistake). When I left their repair shop, my rear wheel was smoking. I called them to say I was bringing it back in, and they gave me a hard time about waiting around as they were about to close- but this was their mistake that damaged my car and I had an EMS night shift to get to. They did wait and their tech found that he had left the parking brake stuck on on that wheel. Their shop manager acted like I was a prima dona because I did not want to drive around with my parking brake engaged on a wheel and the wheel smoking!!! They fixed it (grudgingly) and did not even offer an apology for my inconvenience. I took my car back to my regular repair shop when they were open during the week. They said it was a "functional, but poor quality brake job" and the parking brake being stuck on gouged my rear rotor. A few months ago, we had a tire repaired on my wife's car, and they also screwed that up the first time and we had to bring it back a second time. At Bob Sumerel, they can't do the job right the first time and they treat their customers poorly. HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS MATTERS! This place has lost my business!!!

Another good experience. AAA discount. Appointment available within a day of calling. A new set of tires replaced on the day of the appointment. Easy transaction.

Needed some major front end work done in my vehicle. I expected it to be costly but when they called my wife with an estimate of 3400 dollars I personally called them. After telling them that I priced the parts myself for under $400, I of course checked elsewhere. I went and picked my car up and they wouldnt even look me in the eye when they handed me my keys. I took my car to Mockabee Motors in Blanchester, got the work dont for almost half of what I was originally quoted by Bob Sumerel and my car was done right. Will never do business with them again....

After trying for three days to get in somewhere (Dealer or automotive) to have my license plate removed because the screw and the hole was stripped, I decided to call the Maineville Bob Sumerel Tire and Service on December30th. After speaking with Nicholas he said to come on over and they would be able to take care of it. Not only did they take care of it, they filled my tire that needed air without me even telling them, and because I was turned away everywhere for this problem, and was told I couldn't get in till next week, they didn't even charge me. I am definitely bringing my car back here to be serviced even if it is further away for me to drive. You don't receive service like this anymore.

I've never had any issues with their work. However like most mechanic shops I've felt like their prices are very high, almost as high as the dealers and they want to replace half of your car to fix whatever may be wrong.

I was on a business trip from Michigan to souteasern Ohio when I realized I had a leak in a rear tire. I was treated like a regular and they couldn't have been more professional. The store us exceptionally clean, service manager's very considerate and it was a great experience overall. I reccomend this store highly.

Dropped my car off for pricey same-day brake repair ($786), only to find that my passenger side mirror cover was missing and the plastic encasement was cracked in multiple places as if a heavy object was dropped onto or slammed into it. This definitely occurred AFTER I dropped my car off, and does not at all appear to be the result of another car 'catching' the mirror by driving too close. In fact, I was told that the car parked next to mine had been there the entire time my car was sitting there, so could not have been responsible. Because of this, I am even more convinced the damage occurred while in the shop (or while being pulled in or out of the shop). It is not possible that whomever did this was unaware, either. Now, I am forced to pay to replace this myself!

My son and I were traveling from New York to Tennessee and were just having a nightmare of a time traveling through Ohio. (The next time I go back to NY I will probably route myself around Ohio). Anywho, just outside of Mainville I was driving down 71 southbound when the car made a terrible rattling noise. I pulled over on 71, got out of the car where I noticed the front right tire was essentially gone. Panicked and pissed I get the kid out of the car and change the tire to the spare with the car rocking back and forth on the tiny screw jack from the massive trucks and traffic passing by at what seemed like inches. After making a quick call to nearest tire shop (Bob Sumerel) at 6:30pm (they closed at 7:00pm) they got me in, fixed the tire, gave me the AAA discount (I am a member but didn't have the card on me), and got me back on the road all before closing time. A side note: I was allowed to wash up in their scrub sink because he didn't think the soap in the bathroom would clean the filth off my hands from changing the tire on the side of the road. They also made my child happy with some suckers and everyone from the front of the house to the guy who changed the tire were incredibly nice and helpful.I am writing this the day after to make sure they get some recognition even if it is just a few words on a google review.Oh yea, we made it home that night safe and sound in Tennessee thanks to Bob Sumerel.Thank you!!!!
