I went to Valvoline for the first time my daughter has always taken her car there for service after having a hard time trying to get an oil change at a Dealership because of the hours that I work I decided to try Valvoline. I am glad that I did the Tech's were very personable and nice and informative about the service that my car may at the mileage I was at according to manufacture no pressure and they even resit my message center Thank you everyone and I will be returningGloria Young

Took my car for an oil change because I have an oil leak so I lose oil quicker and have to get oil changes more frequently. They told me it wasn t an oil leak and instead a transmission leak and that my transmission looked done for. They also told me my oil was almost completely full. Took my car to a mechanic just to tell me the transmission fluid they saw was actually oil from my oil leak and that my oil was actually super low. Just in disbelief that a place that specializes in oil changes couldn t tell that it was oil leaking and thought it transmission fluid.

Love this place. I don t live near it but drive out of my way because of how well they do & how friendly they are. I will always return to this location no matter how far away I live. I ve had my battery replaced, oil changes, & transmission fluid flushed here. They always do great work, go above and beyond any expectations I have for a quick stop car maintenance place, customer service & maintenance wise. Shout out to Josh and his crew here. I completed 3 oil changes on 3 different vehicles there today, including an oil change on a 1990 BMW 535i where I brought my own canister oil filter. This location in Macedonia is excellent!! They spoke to me about everything I needed to know about taking care of my vehicle. I originally went to the north randall location and waited outside for 10mins and no one made their presence known. Going to Macedonia was my initial thought process because the north randall location has let me down so many times. Now I know better for my future services! They took care of me and the team worked great together!

Great service, fast and friendly staff. Didn't push services on you. Will be back! Was back and still feel the same. Oil changes are pricier than say Walmart or some others but fast and done right!

Went there for an oil change f150! Filter on the left is what they installed!! Check engine light came on, took it to Ford, said wrong size of oil filter! $600 in diagnostics!! Won t even refund me what I payed for oil change!! Lol wanted to give me a coupon!! What a joke!! Response to valvolines response: there is no recall! Added another photo that shows you put the wrong oil filter size on which caused my check engine light!!Service: Oil change

I came here for an oil change last week. I am lucky and have family that usually changes my oil and usually never go anywhere for them. I pulled in and there was only one garage working and many people in front. I waited a bit, but was not in a rush. They apologized for the delay when I was waiting, filled up my tires, wiper fluid, & gave me an oil change. During the oil change they showed me my old filter and then showed me the new one they were putting in. The experience was so great I had to review because I did not feel pressured for an up sale, to add anything, and they showed me what they were doing with my car. On top of that - they gave me half off my oil change for the long wait! Needless to say, this was a perfect experience for an oil change for my family not being free to do it.

This used to be my go-to place for an oil change, it generally was quick and great customer service. Not sure if they had high staff turnover, but it takes MUCH longer...20 mins in and out turns into an HOUR. My tech seemed stoned, not friendly, and did not make me feel confident in them taking care of my car. I asked twice for them to put air in my tires, they said they did, I ended up leaving and having to go back and make them do it. Plus, they raised the prices by 10+ dollars. I got a standard oil change, with mid-grade oil, for $78!! Crazy expensive now. It's too bad, but I'm going to now have shop around for a new place.

Terrible service, No empathy and RUDEAbsolutely absurd, The Manager there completely disrespected my girlfriend and I m deeply angered. She dropped the vehicle for an Oil change, after the visit she began her drive home. The vehicle shook over 30 miles per hour BAD, she went back to the location to express concerns. They looked at it said it s bad spark plugs so she went to a place to get it looked at, my mechanic said they must have spilled oil on the spark plugs to cause a shortage.She went back up to the location to talk with someone the manager there said and I quote I know you probably don t understand this cause you re a girl, and I m not trying to gas light you but your shop doesn t know what they are talking about and we do and began to belittle her and talk to her as if she was a toddler. I am absolutely mind blown that someone with that position said such outlandish things.Never in my life have I ever seen such a pompous man try to say women don t understand cause it s car related. That man does not deserve to be managing a team of employees with core beliefs such as that, clearly the company is pretty laxed with the hiring process.I m not sure of his name but he had glasses, shorter stature and brown hair.I cannot believe my girlfriend was so disrespected, what s even more disappointing she s was not going to say anything cause she didn t want to get anyone in trouble. This needs to be put to stop.She is so sweet, understanding and selfless for someone to treat her like that is absolutely blasphemous.No women should ever have to go through that especially when they are looking for help.Service: Oil change

I usually get good service here but today was not. I asked Cameron to put air in my tires he said ok. Before I pulled off I asked again did you put airs in my tire he said yes. Nope my low tire pressure is still on and I had to go to the gas station. I understand it s not a big deal but I specifically asked for it because they supposed to do it anyway.

Got my oil and filter changed today. Without a doubt, this was the best express oil change service I have ever had. These guys were super friendly and professional. Very thorough, but no baloney upsell pressure for stuff you do not need. Also got a nice coupon discount. Trust matters and they just earned it. Macedonia Valvoline, folks. Go there. So i had an oil change, new battery, air filter change and they were done in under 30 min. They fill your tires and washer fluid checking all your lights too! I spent close to $300. But it was better than going to the dealership.anytime i go to the dealership i wait over 2 hrs for oil change and free car wash. 2 hrs with little kids is painful!

They did not secure my engine splash shield during an oil change and it no longer stayed up on the right side. They "fixed" it once but the next day it was back down. Went back a third time and they seem to have actually fixed it.

Great people. Did not try to sell me anything. I had trouble closing the hood of my car and they did everything to assist me. I highly recommend this valvoline branch to everyone. They may be pricey if you do not find a coupon so make sure you find a good coupon online before you go in.Good luck on your journey and have a great day:)

Love this place, they were so busy and understaffed and still got me in and didn t rush anything. Doug was fantastic and deserves a raise!! Kristen was very great too. Please keep your employees, you have a great crew there, will definitely recommend!

This Macedonia location is awesome. I've been there many times now and had some of the more complex services. They are fast, polite, and most importantly, get the job done correctly. My black list of repair shops in this area has gotten rather long. However, the crew here consistently does a great job with great products. My car actually runs differently (better) after being serviced here vs the dealership or other places I've been. I think part if it is because they have fewer bays, so they don't jump from car to car and forget what they were doing like other places tend to do. So I get the service faster and with less chance to screw it up. They aren't particularly cheap. But for the materials they use, the speed of service, and attention to detail, it is totally worth it.

They are quick and efficient. I will say they are a bit overpriced, but they always have coupons and you pay for the in and out service. They gave me information about my car saying something needed to be fixed, in this case, an a/c compressor pulley was supposedly messed up and the belt was shredding. I took it up to a mechanic, and they told me it would cost 1700 to fix, just to find out when they started working on it it was never an a/c compressor. It is the water pump, which was far less e pensive. The issue of course being if you don't have an honest mechanic and like many of them they just do what will make them the most money, or if I hadn't gotten a second opinion on what was wrong with the car, my car would have had unnecessary work based on the direction of valvoline.

Very good people. A little pricey but well worth the experience. They let you know upfront what needs to be done, and does it. Tyler is great! If you have coupons use them they come in handy. They even do coupon comparison.

The guy I spoke with when I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation was a very nice person. He kept me informed what they were doing at every process and did it without an attitude. Him having a very positive attitude made all the difference in the service and will definitely come back.
